Not the interesting question to ask at all. The first ATM machines offering Bitcoin came a decade ago. The first hotels, flights, shopping, food delivery, giftcards, they all cwere available for me to use as far back as 2016. Pretty sure they were there before that.

This forum and elsewhere had plenty of businesses doing Bitcoin transactions.

But now in 2024, you have harder access to these services. Want to pay in crypto now? More merchants maybe but only crypto cards settling in fiat. Fewer pure crypto accepting merchants because there are not enough customers.

So the questiom, really, is are you ready to use Bitcoin? And no, showing your Coinbase wallet balance is not the same.

We are all the pieces of what we remember.
I would like to know your opinion on the wave of BTC adoption by companies:
  • Do you think BTC programs will be useful for companies in their efforts to reach users?
  • Are you willing to receive rewards in BTC when using future services?
  • If you have your own company, are you willing to accept BTC or launch BTC programs?
1. I think I have seen some companies that have offered their employees to receive salaries in bitcoin or in the traditional way. It's helpful for the bitcoiner employees so they don't have to spend such fees in transfers from fiat to bitcoin.

2. Yes.

3. Definitely, 100%. I am an enthusiasts and to support that I have to accept payments in BTC for my services and products.

1. Bitcoin is so volatile and transaction fees are high, I don't think many people will accept this offer. If you are an office worker with a not too high income and have to take care of your family, are you sure you will be okay if you receive your salary in bitcoin? Bitcoin fluctuations can go up to 10%-50% in a day, so I don't think it would be a good idea to use bitcoin for salary payments.

By the way, I don't see us having to spend too much every time we convert from fiat to bitcoin, how can you say buying bitcoin with fiat costs a lot?

3. If it were me, I wanted to bring stability to my business and ensure the safety of my employees, I would still use fiat to pay the company instead of bitcoin. And if any of my employees want to invest in bitcoin, they can take their salary and then buy as much bitcoin as they want with fiat.

I don't think it is mandatory to implement Bitcoin payment system so there is no point forcing it when proper study of the viability have been done. Personally, using fiat is is more feasible for me in terms of ease of usage and cheaper for transaction. This make it totally unnecessary to opt for Bitcoin. Unless things change in the future, I am not thinking about integrating Bitcoin payment into my business that is still at the young stage. I could when I expand to a certain point.

Every business owner have their own decision to make on this matter, if they will integrate or not. I believe, it depends on how you look at this market. Is there a potential to make it big in the future or not?
The good thing about this is that anyone can join if they believe it, or not opt to get on it. No one is forcing you to include the btc payment in your financial transactions. It is your choice and no one can shove it on your face.

Taking steps to make btc an alternative payment is indeed like a trend in recent years because the more people who adopt bitcoin, the greater it is possible for some companies to make bitcoin an alternative payment but on the other hand, by doing this, there are indeed several conditions in which we as producers must be prepared to take several steps so that this payment option is also not detrimental to ourselves.

A good step actually if we do this because by creating payment options we can indirectly also introduce to new people that bitcoin is also in addition to investment that can be used as a payment option, it's just that we certainly know what risks we will experience by using this as an option especially when the fee is not too reasonable and that has often happened in the last few months.

We must be aware that adopting btc as a means of payment must also look at what business we are building because in the end this is also an important factor because it is to minimize shipping costs because after all we are doing this for profit and if the transactions of the products we sell are only a few cents or a few dollars I think it is not necessary to use the btc payment option because it will actually be detrimental so this becomes optional about the products we sell.

Base on the topic, I will say yes and that will also base on the country perception on bitcoin and if it is a county that doesn't support bitcoin, then it will be difficult for a company to accept bitcoin as their payment method but they can invest in it. Because investing in it is different from accept it. In investment you use p2p to get it and store it in the non custodial wallet and the government can't do anything to control your end but if you accept it in the payment method then they can control your payment because if they know that you are accepting bitcoin as a payment method.

So the country will play a vital role in the company.

To be honest, a lot of companies use whatever is in trend in order to get to their target audience but this time I think bitcoin will be more than a trend for these companies. Bitcoin will soon become one of the top currencies among the other fiat currency so I am sure that companies will see this and take interest.

  • Are you willing to receive rewards in BTC when using future services?

Yes but it has to be done secretly. I don’t want a lot of people to know that I have bitcoin.

  • If you have your own company, are you willing to accept BTC or launch BTC programs?

Of course. Following technological advancements is one of the things that a good company should be doing. A company needs to fit into today’s time and cater to their audiences.

Hey I am a supporter of Bitcoin and investor as well but I am still not convinced to use it as day to day business transaction for food or groceries rather I will be gladly implementing it into the payment transfers because we need to accept the fact that it will complicate things if we use Bitcoin for minor transactions due to the charges and the decimal points. I am sure people might not completely agree with my point but if you have a better solution or can explain why am I wrong you are most welcome.

I would like to think that the kind of company does really matter to be considered or not for a BTC program.
A tech company can adopt BTC payment options for its customers because they can of course come from different countries and may be buying or transacting over the internet or telephone to acquire the product.

Also, BTC is a good store of value for investors thinking long term, and if I did have a company, even if not a tech set up, I would think of using some of the profits per annum or quarterly to Invest in BTC, because I know how to DCA, I know how to use a wallet but would consider using good and better offline hardware wallets with a good brokerage advisor who would be my eyes and ears in the crypto market to know when to diversify, liquidate or just HoDL BTC.
Whether or not you feel comfortable taking Bitcoin in your business is a matter of personal preference. Since I'm not sending out anything, this will relieve some of my stress and add to it as well. The network issue will be the first source of stress, and additional stress will come from needing to have the correct decimals for each product and from the fact that the price of bitcoin is unstable and must constantly be updated to avoid going over or even lower. Bitcoin transactions aren't limited to techies, in my opinion. Any industry can choose to utilize bitcoin.

Since its a good store value i don't think it should be spent. Its there coin and anyone can decide what to do with there coin. They want to spend it fine and good. Because even countries that invested in bitcoin am sure they will be making money by now bitcoin depends on how you use it.

Inspired by Travala's idea, I predict a future where many companies offer similar loyalty programs. Beyond its role as a currency, BTC is increasingly recognized as a valuable brand. I, for one, would be eager to participate in programs that reward everyday purchases with BTC, from groceries and beauty products to airline tickets.

Who wouldn't want that? However, it isn't going to happen very soon and it is still going to take a lot of time for Bitcoin to become completely mainstream.

1 - Of course, it is a good strategy for companies to cash in on the opportunity since they can see the hype around the globe for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and they know they are going to be in the news if they do something like that.

2 - I don't think anyone would decline something like that, I would be happy just to have services available to be availed with Bitcoin even without rewards or anything.

3 - I don't, but if I had one, I would surely like to do that if I could get permission and clearance from the authorities to do that because it is not possible to do something like that if you are legally not allowed to do it.

If I had a company, I would not be put under pressure to accept Bitcoin simply because other companies around me are beginning to accept bitcoins, I would have to first evaluate my business to know if it's something suitable to accept bitcoins, or a business that can work properly before I institute or decide to accept bitcoins. Not all businesses are suitable for customers to pay for products or services with Bitcoins, accepting bitcoins too in some businesses too may not work because the client base or the age grade the business focuses on may not be the type that there is a high interest to have and use bitcoins. Know the kind of business you have before you institute changes, it is part of what makes one a good business owner or CEO.

Travala has launched a new initiative to capitalize on the growing popularity of BTC. The program offers top-tier travelers a compelling incentive: 10% cashback on their travel bookings in the form of BTC. This strategy aims to not only encourage users to book more travel through Travala but also introduce them to the world of crypto.
Only Diamond members receive 10% btc cashback.

Travala's new BTC rewards program capitalizes on BTC's popularity
That's right, they use the popularity of bitcoin to promote their AVA Smart Program.

BTC givebacks are only available for Smart Diamond members.

"Members of the AVA Smart Program can receive up to 10% back in AVA (all Smart members) or Bitcoin (Smart Diamond members only) for every completed trip. Givebacks are credited to your Travala.com account within 24 hours of your trip being completed."

That is, before you can get cashback in btc, you will have to use their services a fair amount (spend N amount of money).

Inspired by Travala's idea, I predict a future where many companies offer similar loyalty programs.
This is not excluded. The higher the bitcoin price, the more attention of customers can attract with this. But this is more like some kind of trick, as with Travala.com, which allows to get bitcoin only at a certain level of spending money in their service.

Beyond its role as a currency, BTC is increasingly recognized as a valuable brand.
It should be added - a hype brand.

I, for one, would be eager to participate in programs that reward everyday purchases with BTC, from groceries and beauty products to airline tickets.
If choose between spending money on everyday (and not only) needs and not receiving cashback in btc and receiving, I'm sure many will choose the second. Those companies that are the first to use this will be able to become leaders in their markets.

Major corporations are recognizing the potential of BTC and are looking for ways to benefit from it. While large-scale investment might only be practical for a select few like Tesla or MicroStrategy, accepting BTC payments offers a more accessible entry point for most businesses.

There nothing to doubt about this because bitcoin has been always increasing in adoption and the corporate organization with global reputation are also taking the advantage for the use of bitcoin in making payments, but we cannot conclude that all the companies and organizations have already key into this acceptance, most of the growing economy businesses are still making evaluation on the possible potentials that might comes out through the adoption of bitcoin as their means of payment, plans have to be in place before the use of bitcoin as payment method, but a large number is companies and organizations were already accepting bitcoin while some are underway.

No, I will not receive rewards in BTC, it is too risky in my opinion because there will be no more secrets about BTC ownership itself, because the anonymous nature will be lost if the learning system is carried out using BTC, it is better as usual with applicable fiat

No doubt, a lot of positive news has been coming in favor of BTC and lots of organizations that are good at seizing opportunities to their advantage would normally want to jump in and see how to be part of this global crypto users and supporters and giving out an incentive as this could be part of a business strategy that could work too well in bringing the attention of most crypto enthusiast into wanting to be a part of the organization and this business strategy has obviously made them popular in the crypto ecosystem.

With how constantly bullish Bitcoin is going and the high rate of popularity and adoption it has witnessed recently, it won't be surprising to see more organizations adopting Bitcoin as a means of payments and maybe give reduction in the price to be payed for any customer that chooses to pay in BTC.

      • Are you willing to receive rewards in BTC when using future services?
      why not?
If you pay me $50 worth of BTC as a reward for using your service that cost me up to $1000, I'm at a serious gain because if I decide to Hold the $50 worth of BTC till the market becomes more bullish, I would have gained almost twice or thrice the incentive you gave me. If you're giving someone that's totally new to crypto, it could be one good reason they would probably try investing into Bitcoin out and you've used that medium to increase the number of Bitcoin user in our ecosystem.

      • If you have your own company, are you willing to accept BTC or launch BTC programs?

absolutely yes. I'm a very good business strategist and I sure know the importance of getting customers from different niches and I can tell you for free that in my country where almost all the youths are active crypto users, if you run an eatery or a travel agency that accepts crypto as an option of making payments, you've gained at least 60% of the youthfull population  to your brand.

Bitcoin transactions in the company should be done according to the conditions of that country because Bitcoin transactions are not legal in my country. If not valid I can't start Bitcoin transactions in my company even if I want to. I don't own any company. If I had a company, I would start a bitcoin business there. This is my dream. But in this case I have to follow some rules. It is as I wish, but I cannot do everything. I must obey the government rules of the country in which I live. If I want to comply with government regulations, I will not be allowed to start Bitcoin transactions because Bitcoin is not legal in my country. But I have a strong desire to introduce bitcoin transactions in my business if I can. If ever I can set up a business here on my own.

I won't say just Bitcoin, but overall crypto payment system is good for any business. It allows them to tap a new set of audiences. So I think slowly big corporates will come forward and will allow crypto payment in their platform. But it doesn't really matter everytime what a big corporate thinks. A lot depends on the local legislation as well. There are many countries where crypto is not seen as a legal tender. So it may become challenging for the companies to accept crypto payments in those countries.

But I see there's a great amount of positivity around cryptocurrency right now. Usually it happens during any bull run. I just hope this bull run continues and the positivity stays as it is.

      1. For the businessmen, any improvement is good because it's way for them to promote their company. But for the customers, they need to accept to lose their privacy because it will link their identity with Bitcoin. Since Travala is a booking service, I remembered with a case to Russian investment blogger gets robbed in hotel.

      2. If I link my identity, I won't. If I don't need to link my identity, why not?

      3. Not yet, I will accept when Bitcoin is already become a normal thing, so whenever people know someone own Bitcoin, they didn't think every people who own Bitcoin is rich.
