it makes more sense to buy something that is more useful for the family and can feel pleasure together without having to be selfish in feeling pleasure yourself.
I mean if a gambler gets a bonus and uses the bonus to gamble on the grounds that holidays only come once a year but in the end he will only feel the sensation of pleasure alone because he is the only one gambling while the family doesn't know about this and the family also needs fun together. even though gambling sometimes brings good luck, this effort is not very good because if you use a larger budget, if you are not lucky, it will trigger high emotions and even the family can become an outlet for their emotions because they lose all the money.

and the best way is just as you said, it's better to use the bonus money to buy something that the family can enjoy together and actually the family doesn't need a lot of money to be happy but being able to gather together during the holidays is like happiness that doesn't need to be paid for with money. so that the bonus money you get can be saved for future savings or for your child's future.

but I still think for those who live alone without a family and get a bonus from their work, they will definitely use the money to gamble, spending all the money for the happiness of not having a family and it seems like it's not happiness that they get but just an outlet for the sadness of not having a family.

IMO, it's not a happy season to spend more only on gambling, but well, it depends on you and your family preferences. Your kids might want to go for gaming, a picnic, or something more intriguing, and you can only spend more on gambling when you actually have enough morning money to spend on the needs that matter more. I have some budgets that are filled and more important bills to settle; gambling has only a small budget, and family got some more percentage, so also the next-year budget has been put in place.

I’m actually surprised that the majority won’t be spending more money in casino because it is common that people start looking and deriving means to get Christmas money. Just like most people gamble because they have a financial problem they want to settle, some would do it more because they have a place they would have love to spend some time this Christmas and need to make the money from somewhere (and they always want the money fast too, haha).

My gambling finances will still be usual regardless of the season. Simply, I will just gamble whenever I feel it.

Whatever the budget, whatever I have as my extra money and anything, it's always my practice to just gamble if I want to gamble at that time. Maybe it's not the budget for gambling that will be affected this Holiday season but rather my time. Since this month is full of busy activities, I might spend less time gambling now and actually, it's happening currently.

Good chance to take a break from gambling but I will still try to do that in my free time as I do really love to play gambling.

Yes, I agree with you. Playing gambling is only about spending the money we can afford. Apart from that, we don't need to use more money. It's not because it's a holiday that it makes us spend more money, it's not like that because it means we will spend money beyond what we can afford.

And regarding the bonuses we receive, the bonus money is better used to buy gifts for family members or save for our needs in the future. That would be better because we make preparations for our lives in the future rather than just using it for gambling, especially since we already have a budget for gambling that we can afford.

Sometimes you can spend a sufficient amount on gifts for your family, it will not necessarily be very large, but the gifts will be very good. On the contrary, you can buy very expensive gifts, but it will not be what the family members wanted. I say this because we don't necessarily have to spend most of our money for this. The worst thing in my opinion is to lose so much that we cannot afford to buy anything for our family. This will not only darken everyone’s Christmas mood, but will also make us wonder whether there is something good in our head or just gambling addiction. So before you sit down and play before Christmas, you need to think twice.

we can't really expect people to do what's best for their family as they have their own approach on this matter. there's no problem to splurge on gambling if you are financially capable but if not, better think twice of how much you can spend here because it is you and your family who will suffer of your actions. no one else will be responsible but yourself about the aftermath of your actions.

on my end, i guess we all learned our lessons during the pandemic period. just spend what you can really afford. it means, you are only touching your extra extra funds as much as possible. give yourself a room to move around when it comes to your funds. so you won't regret when you are caught in an unexpected situation.

hence, it means, i am not spending much in casinos these days. i will still play but not to the point of chasing my losses. i usually have that route whenever i am on the losing side. i tried to recover my losses, at least half of it. but more often, it usually ended up bad for my bankroll.

Just like the typical days, there's no season to me whether I'll add more money to get spent or I'll just use whatever I want.

That's how it goes with the funds that I have, the only thing that I want to do is to spend money that I afford to lose. So that I'll have no problems with it whenever I get on it on gambling.

And as for holiday seasons, it's true that there are bonuses and such but it doesn't matter to me as they're like just the same thing for the entire year.

Since the start of December, I wasn't able to gamble as usual due to my schedule. December means peak season at my work, have to do extra work to earn extra money, and I have to do holiday preparations as well. I can also say that I spend more on buying gifts, and this is the only time when I spend a lot of time with my family and other relatives. It would be a waste if I spend my time focusing on gambling, because of our schedule, we can only have time to see each other during this season. I guess, no one wants to miss these happy moments with their family.

Totally waste whether on a holiday season or really just that an ordinary day on which splurging up tons of cash on gambling is never been that ideal or something that would be worth but well each person does have their different set of interest on which if they do gamble out and play then its their choice but majority would really be that skeptical on playing further or playing heavily. Speaking about on this festive season then it would really be just that right that you should really be focusing yourself on trying out to spend up money into your loved ones on buying some presents. Just skip for a day or a week on trying to
hang out with your loved ones on which we know that this is the most important thing on this world.

Unless if you are that a certain person who dont really care nor really that mindful about relationship with your family  then it would really be that
just possible to happen but of course it isnt something nice to look upon.

The gambler should learn to use of affordable money in the gambling site,if the gambler made the good profit by the fortunes.He should add the winning money to the gambling next game,because all the winning money is additional income to the gambler.If the gambler add that income to the next gambling game,it will not affect any of the financial problem in their monthly expenses.Now many gambling sites giving the Christmas bonus to their user,the gamblers can use the same to play more games in the gambling site.

Yes, I am going to spend more money on casino this holiday season. I have been looking forward to this time since the past 2 months. I am have a little high school reunion with 4 of my best buddies and their spoused. We found that they hotel we'd be staying in has a casino. So, we would be playing slots, and I'll be at the table watching them play poker. This is on me. I am spending a slightly higher but it has been already budgeted. This my situation.

We can spend as much as we could afford in gambling this season as long as we are in good capacity to release some finds to budget our holiday season, we can see also that this period is followed by many gambling offers to serves as complement to the current seasonal holiday period just as we have in the Halloween bonus offers, so gamblers will not mind spending all because they want to enjoy the season.

From such earnings the money spent in the casino is only for fun because those who can adapt themselves to gambling will always play even on a new particular day they enjoy it more. But you are right that the end of the year should be spent with family. Also if gambling makes you more addicted then you spend some money there then you will manage better from all sides. its not just the christmas that made me not spend more on casinos but because i'm looking forward to the bull market next year. i have to sacrifice some of the stuff that i want to buy.

i was up to renovate my kitchen and move it to the back of our house but i was thinking of the bull run which i have to make more money and just postponed it for now and also i'm becoming a prepper already after watching some wars and inflation going on. 

Another reason why I'm not filling this holiday season with more gambling. If we do more gambling activities than usual, it is feared that this will become a bad habit. Because the longer we play gambling, the more we will feel at home there. Because who also doesn't want to linger playing gambling, obviously everyone wants to linger there, because it is a place full of fun.

But for our own good, it would be better in this season we play as usual. Like me who only plays once a week, then no matter the holiday season arrives, I will only gamble once a week. Because if in this holiday season I do more gambling activities, for example, every day is only filled with gambling activities. This is not good, because when we gamble too often, it will bring us closer to gambling addiction.  Meanwhile, when the holiday season is over, we also have to go back to work. And when we are already addicted to gambling, this can hinder other activities, such as work. However, if you have good self-control, this is not a problem because you can always avoid the addiction to gambling.

Time will go on and the wheel will always turn, maybe now is the time when you are unlucky with your fate or that means now you are experiencing a  decline in life, especially in terms of financial and financial insufficiency. In my case, as I only do sports betting, so I spend little time at the casino, but even so, in this December the football games haven't stopped, at least that's what has happened with the big league games, they've been playing Even during this Christmas and New Year period, that's why I continue to place sports bets during this period if I have the funds and time. because there are times when the games in the entire round are not interesting games, they are games in which the odd value and the risk do not compensate me. If people look at gambling as a way to make money, then when December arrives, that person will not be focused on Christmas and New Year and their holidays, they will be focused on playing a lot. In my case, sports betting is something that I only do occasionally and only between Friday and Monday, and there are many times when I go a month or more than 1 month without placing a bet. So this Christmas and New Year I will be taking my vacation from making sports bets. I think that rest is something very important for a person, this is part of self control. People need to test themselves how long they can go without playing, if they can't go without playing then they have gaming problems, they need treatment

Me neither, not because of money issues to be fair, I do not really have that much money anyway, this month I got some help from my family because I had literally zero money left, I wouldn't be able to survive if they weren't helping me and thank god for them, yes it feels terrible as a grown man to get help from the parents, but I had no other choice, I had to get some money, I was forced to do that or I wouldn't have money to buy food.

But that's not the issue why I gamble less, I am already not rich, I gamble very little normally as well, if I really wanted to, I would have gotten 50 bucks more and just kept gambling, that's not it, during this period I am super busy, so it means that I do not really have any time to gamble at all, I just have to end up gambling normally when I get some more time.

I'm surprise that only few have voted on the poll on, "spending less" this holiday.

Come on guys! This is a holiday season, we are suppose to have more fun, and as a gambler, we cannot forget betting more so we will entertain more. I mean, more bets, more fun, that should be our motto.

BTW, we can replace the word "spending"  to "gambling", as using spending doesn't imply we have a chance of doubling our money.
