It seems bulls are busy with Bitcoin only. That's why Bitcoin keep breaking new All time high but most of top altcoins (except a few) Still straggling to cross even Half of their Ath price. So maybe altcoins season might come after btc halving. That's why many people still don't hesitate to collect altcoins. What is your opinion about this matter. Are you still buying anything or will think about it later after halving

Well yeah, there is this thing they call the altcoin season where every altcoin in the market turns green for successive days. But with bitcoin getting pumped and hyped because of the upcoming bitcoin halving, most of the altcoin in the market will most probably follow through. Remember, we are not in the actual halving yet. Huge bullrun happens several months after the halving and that is where bitcoin breaks another ATH, but this year is different. So, if you're here in crypto space for quite sometime now then you should be able to understand the opportunity ahead when you start purchasing top altcoins now and even fractions of bitcoins as well.
We might have seen another ATH just recently, but that was not the end of it, there are more to come for sure.

I still buy regularly because I'm using DCA but it just limited to ETH and BNB, I don't really have time to think about day trading because really busy with real life stuff but it's still not consistent because it depends on how much I can afford. But still altcoins sector are promising if you can dig up the good news and with the spice of luck you can get something from it if you want to swing or day trading.

But if you are doing DCA then just pick whatever in top coins there.

I've always invested in Bitcoin than altcoins, at most I've invested in LTC, but I believe that while we are in the halving period, the market, ETFs will be targeting Bitcoin due to its ETF exposure. Another narrative is the possible Ethereum ETF, so I'm keeping an eye on it, I've already bought some leveraged fractions at 4x, I intend to leave this position open until mid-2025 and I'm going to do the same with BTC, because in my opinion, BTC and ETH are the most reliable assets, I have my eye on SOL too.

I don’t think we are already in the bull run like yes we see bitcoin is gaining momentum as of now and it has surpassed its old peak price but

That is an interesting view.  Maybe you need a bigger chart or a different definition of "bull run" altogether.  Wink

I think we would see a more increased price in bitcoin if it were the bull run

Bitcoin literally just rewrote the record books, and you're saying it's not a bull run? Get real. This is a bull run, buddy. Buckle up.

I think now is the right time to buy Altcoins.  As happened before, the Bitcoin trend can always become a trend in the Altcoin world.  Even though it doesn't affect all altcoins, the bitcoin trend is always able to lift most Altcoins.  You should immediately do an analysis to see which altcoins have the best opportunities.  I heard ETH, Solana and BNB are investment targets that many people mentioned and I also took a part there.  I think this will be a long bullish because the ETF issue on Ethereum can also able to provide momentum.  If you can do it now, why wait any longer.
In my opinion, now is not a very good time to buy altcoins. It is quite possible that there will be a correction in the cryptocurrency market in the near future. There are forecasts that the price of Bitcoin could fall to $40,000. After rising to over $72,000 in value, Bitcoin fell to $69,063 today, although it has since risen to its current $71,427. Bitcoin has not gone into correction since October last year, when it began its rapid price growth. But there is no long-term growth without correction. It happens. If the price of Bitcoin goes down, all altcoins will follow. After the correction, Bitcoin and altcoins will grow, however, I think, not at such a high pace. Good further growth is possible from the end of the year and into next year.

Since the beginning of the bull run, doge&shib outperformed btc actually. Of course doge haven't hit its ATH yet and that's where btc really shines. If you bought btc any time in the past, you have made money now. We can't say the same thing for the alts. Some of them like doge did great lately but that doesn't mean anything if you bought doge at its last ATH.

Still though, this shows that BTC is still the king of crypto and it is not going anywhere any time soon. Alts may or may not make money but if you hodl btc long enough, you will certainly make money.

Some of the altcoins also made new all time highs. Many low cap altcoins have made more than 10X already. It is not true that the altcoin market is not doing anything. The only slow moving cryptos in the industry are major altcoins, which haven't shown much rally till now. But similar things happened before. So i think they will catch up with the rest of the market. What bitcoin is doing we can not compare it with anything else. But altcoin market is still relevant to the industry, so we can not fully ignore it.

I left literally several assets in my portfolio, these are bnb and sol. I sold everything else because I don’t want to have a large portfolio for halving since it will be easier to control it while it is concentrated in total at 5 maximum coins and tokens. I remember the bull market in 2017 and what was going on and it was very difficult to keep track of everything, this time I'll be more prepared.

Not really at the moment. I have taken a pause to buying crypto -currency cause the market looks so extended recently think it will be better to wait for a retest on Btc before buying more altcoins.

I'm monitoring the market, I missed out on buying some coins that have done very well as I was thinking that Bitcoin will not go this high of a price before the halving but it's doing that and I'm happy for those that have more Bitcoin. I'm an altcoin individual and I'll be buying more altcoins as I feel if I'm lucky I can use this bull market to make myself very rich. I don't have too much to invest in Bitcoin to have a large amount but I can buy altcoins and they'll make me profits in the bull market.

Bull run starts with Bitcoin and later altcoins will join, we shouldn't expect any much profits from altcoins until the halving has been completed then investors will be looking at the direction of altcoins to make some profits. I'm buying altcoins and I'll still be buying them until the bull market, the bull market comes with alot of surprises and you mightn't know which altcoins will win by giving investors profits.

for now, I am more likely to pay attention to market movements and my portfolio rather than adding to investments. However, if I feel that a coin is worth investing in, then I will probably buy. However, currently I am still monitoring market prices and considering whether I should buy or take some profits from the portfolio I own.
You are right, it is best to pay attention to market movements and the altcoins that we already have in our portfolio. And with this we can monitor the altcoins we own whether they are worth accumulating or not, and also pay attention to projects or altcoins that have the potential to generate profits when the market is moving up to add to the portfolio.
Because it is not easy to choose a new altcoin or project to add because it requires good research and analysis to be profitable. And it is also impossible for us to choose an altcoin that is already bullish because it follows the movement of Bitcoin, whose price exceeds its highest price. Everything requires careful consideration to really make good profits.

Yes still buying are those projects whose trend has not begun yet and not have gained much price yet because they are out of trend for now but when their trend starts they will also gain a good amount of volume into their price till then we have to wait. As in Holding, we have to wait for a good amount of profit. For Now, There are only some coins which are pumping well along with the Price of Bitcoin.

Just like Gala which has gained about 4x price into the trading amount in the 24-hour gala is a gaming project. Actually, In my honest opinion, Altcoin rally not begin yet we will see a big rally in the altcoins when Bitcoin starts to bleed beacsuse for now Bitcoin is very bullish and investors are moving thier funds into the Bitcoin but after the price of Bitcoin will be relaxes then this amount will move from bitcoin to Altcoins and this will bring huge rally in the price of altcoins. DYOR!

These period is the second chance to invest in alt-coins, because Bitcoin halving has not take place which more are still expecting respect to Bitcoin halving to take place, which we trigger other alt-coins and full known as Bull Run session. So buying alt-coins now is a good track.

Actually nowadays buying altcoins is our choice which means we can not force other to buy or not in altcoins but for me it's better to have some altcoins in our investment cause we all know that there's a chance of having a good profit since Bitcoin is surpass then some altcoins will surpass too.  Many investors buy some altcoins today because of the reason they will got a good profit soon as possible. At also it's a good to have backup investment which is our main investment is Bitcoin then our backup is altcoin.

No, don't get missed with some of the altcoins as they are also increasing just like some meme coins. But is quite too late for them to buy, we'd rather wait for some price corrections, at least we buy for a discounted price. For me, it was not a good time to buy coins right now. Although we believe that the price will rally more but can't live with such confidence that it all goes that way. Still, we need to be cautious and only invest in usable projects, not shitcoins. Because it was not just what we thought it grow but the potentiality of the project is our assurance. Otherwise, we invest for loss.

Well in my own opinion I think this is the right time to buy altcoins, now that bitcoin is increasing. I think this will also bring more increase in some other coins, and it will make most of this coin that doesn't have value before, due to bitcoin increase those coin that is somehow related to bitcoin will also have  increase in value. let's use dogecoin, solana, and ethereum  as example the increase of bitcoin has made this coins to increase in value.more especially ethereum, a lot of people keep investing on ethereum, reason is because they knew that ethereum has a better future.

Well, the bulls you mean the Blackrock and rest yea? And I think majority of people now are focusing on Alts or maybe not but from what I see on twitter, I'd see a lot rejoicing in some coins they hold like INJ, RUNE etc..

And is true that some alts haven't broken their ATH like DOT and FIL while some have like BGB and have also formed a new high as well. I think we need to be patient and see these alts do their thing and of course, holding the right one will make you happy

Most of those AltCoins that doesn't pump in it's values are the very weaked AltCoins with poor volatilities which doesn't move when potential and high volatile Coins like bitcoin, Eth and BnB and some other coins do rises. So it's either they're stagnant projects or they're of some specific volatile potentials. So they could rise when other coins are stable or deflecting.
Talking about buy or not Op, there's no specific time investors are to buy and do not buy. But when you can buy it you feels the market prices is being too high for accumulation then you can apply the DCA. It's always up to the investors.
