In all sincerity, I am surprised not because I don't believe in bitcoin or a pessimists but because my expectation was surpassed beyond imagination. I had proposed in mind that because of the fork, but not this high. Even earlier in the day when the price touched $7000 and retreat backwards, someone had created a thread that correction is what is happening in which I had prepared my mind towards that because every factors point to that direction but alas it was just retreating to a new entry point that we have not seen.

In all, my song has been to always exercise caution.

I'll admit - I'm surprised.

I'm a big believer in btc and expect the price to continue to increase over time. This, I think, is a bit too fast. I wouldn't be shocked to see it correct back down to $5000 or so before too long.

Regardless, people are waking up but it's never too late to join the revolution if you haven't already.

Not really, to be honest. I just converted 0.05BTC and it felt like a normal thing to do. Unlike back then when the price skyrocketed to $1300 from around $500-$600, I was so excited and can't even shut up about it. Today, the price increase is kind of expected because it has been like this for days now. Bitcoin is slowly increasing and then increases at significantly at some point.

If anything, I'm actually upset because most of my money is in altcoins. I end up being a bagholder of coins that I'm kind of unsure of. I hope this bitcoin price increase will stop so we can all get back some of our investments from altcoins.

Hell yeah I'm surprised,  but I had the same reaction when bitcoin hit $2000. I've gotten very used to this crazy bull market, but it does concern me that it seems like everyone is jumping into crypto and doing completely irrational things, like selling their houses, buying on margin, etc.  All of that is characteristic of bubble territory.

I used btc to buy some gold & silver a few weeks ago but would have made a greater profit had I just held on.   Yet I don't regret it, because I don't feel like this kind of growth is sustainable.   But since I now only have a few hundred dollars worth, I think I'll sit on my bitcoin, see what happens.

When we hit $10,000 I won't be surprised for long, either.

Not really surprising. The recent announcement by CME regarding Bitcoin futures is fuelling the price to an extent. Bitcoin Gold is getting dumped. We had seen a similar surge before the Bitcoin Gold fork, but yeah, since the November fork is going to have a much bigger impact than the last two forks, the demand has increased. I wouldn't not be surprised if Bitcoin hits $8K before the fork. But fork-driven demand isn't sustainable, at some point there will be a correction.

October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

No way am I surprised.  It's bound to keep going up as it gets harder and harder to mine and obtain and more people start wanting it.

No, it's actually expected because of the upcoming fork. The supply and demand aspect of bitcoin these days is highly affected, therefore, it somehow affects its price. I think that price spikes would normalize after the fork. However, it's a good thing, especially for traders that the prices keeps on increasing.

Not really. Because that is where the trend is going. But it is amazing that last August bitcoin was only at $2800. After 2 1/2 months, it is now at $7000! Crazy... 😁

Yes probably surprising the price value of bitcoin now. In the short period of time bitcoin increasingly easily. From 6,000 USD now it rise to almost 7,000 USD. Almost all prediction last month is happen now. The good thing in bitcoin now is the price high is steady and it is continuously increasing.

I am not surprised at all. This is expected scenario and BTC can reach 10 000$ price before April 2018. I am not saying that it is based on the best technology (some other coins are more advanced), but btc network is best known, already implemented. People are just more used to Btc than some other coins.

I really think all are surprised by the price of bitcoin and even if you are not, this is more surprising for all of us and right we might reach that value by 2018 and I don't want to point a certain month because maybe we can see it on March or May we would never know, a $7000 price is a big amount already if you are not Awe with that wait until next year because we may see a much price than this.

I'm surprised I thought at the beginning of 2017 maybe it will go up to 4000$ at the end of 2017  and now it is more than 7000$. I'm curious if it can keep the price or if it will fall a bit. If it's up to me he could rise even more.

Cannot be surprises as I don't know a shit about BC market. Is it silly to wait for a price drop? Or should I start buying BC rather than dreaming about huge profits?

I'm not surprised anymore, it's long before many predict that bitcoin prices will continue to climb, a tenfold increase in the past year as evidence that bitcoin will continue to rise as many of the world's bitcoin users with limited bitcoin supplies

yes its quite surprising to see bitcoins value rise in a rapid time, yesterday the value was like 6000$ dollars but now it on 7000$ dollars and i think that it can still go up because many people and small investors are still on a hurry to catch the few days ride of  this bitcoin rolller coaster. but of course there were still butt hurts that keeps on bashing bitcoins like warren buffet who keeps on claiming that bitcoin is a bubble.

Yes,i'm too a little bit surprised by the steady increase in bitcoin price.
It was predicted that bitcoin price earlier increased due to people dropping their altcoins to buy bitcoins and get access to free BTG coins. It was expected that after getting free coins, they would drop their bitcoins and would once again start buying altcoins which would create a price fall in bitcoin.

But,unexpectedly, bitcoin price seems to continuously increasing and once again, bitcoin move has become unpredictable.

Im really surprised that Bitcoin already reached $7000. I didn't expect that Bitcoin will reach it so quick. Just like that. I think it's because of China allowed trading platform there to operate. With 100 million USD traded in over 3 platforms there. In addition for this, people want to keep their Bitcoins for upcoming hardfork. They sold their altcoins for Bitcoin. So the volume goes to Bitcoin. I think it's these are the reason that drives Bitcoin price surge. I think Bitcoin will back down for at least between 5k and 6k USD for retracement after the hardfork and may pump again up to 8k at the end of the year.
