Most of the times I use to convert bitcoin to some altcoin like doge or ltc or eth
Really? . What do you think if you need your transaction quickly ? Because swap your bitcoin to altcoin is time consuming and you never know the price may crashed suddenly when you try to convert to altcoin also how long your transaction to get confirmed.

Send directly in your wallet and adjust your fee to get quicker confirmation.
If his BTC is all inside the exchangers. I think everything is fine. Though you have pretty silly question  Grin, If he needs his BTC quickly, he simply sends it directly without swapping them because it's basically just an option for him to avoid the overwhelming fee in bitcoin blockchain. Within the time intervals needed for a coin to be swapped and be sent to the targetted wallet, there might be a fluctuation happen, but mostly just a small margin, if he's fine with it, it's ok, though.

i go for middling fees. i'm not convinced fees that low will ever confirm with things the way there are these days. if i'm buying something then i go for relatively high because i don't want to be waiting around.
Yes, its very irritating to wait for a long time whenever I used low fees. Sometimes I much prefer for a high fees to get as soon as possible what ever things that i buy.

It all depends on the priorities. I usually go with the fees suggested by the exchange or web wallet service providers as I don't do frequent transactions. I am not sure what is the reason but I have observed that even paying the average fees, the transactions are getting confirmed faster than before. I guess that exchanges are clubbing multiple transactions and it results in faster confirmation.

No im not using low fees or even the high fees because my wallet its depends on how much I send bitcoin if the bitcoin big for sure the transaction fee is high also. And if this transaction is low they will be low also. But in my other wallet not using to send payout they have option how much fee do you want the minimum transaction fee  is 0.001 and thatsvery big and Im not using it.

That is right, why do we need to use those low fees if we want to receive our transactions quickly. And I usually send moderate number of bitcoin, that is why it is okay for me to pay for the fee, I don't usually send small amount, that is bothering, not to me but for the miners.

Another of my low fee transactions (25sat/byte) got confirmed recently, it took more than 5 weeks, which is fine for me. Maybe I'll test pushing low fee transactions some day, because it looks like a good strategy to save some money - you can send coins to your wallet with very low fees and in case you will need them confirmed, you just add more fees. Pushing transaction probably costs a lot (my Electrum suggested something like 0.006-0.01 BTC for child pays per parent transaction), but most of the time you will be saving money with lower fees, so in the long run this strategy should pay out.

Hopeless, because it was april when i had sent a transaction with low fees and it took about 2 days for the confirmation so from that time because I learnt the lesson and I won't repeat it again and now i sent only bulk amount only and all amall small transaction will get red signal from my side. As now i am no longer paying low fees so i have no head ache about it and during my last transaction with low fees i was about to die because about 0.5btc stuck in and i was helpless and i had nothing to do with it and i cant even cancel tge transaction and for two days that tension just sucked my blood and i was so angry over bitcoin that I won't use this currency again but now i love it so much.

I was always use normal fees with my trabsactions and always gets confirmed in 25-30 minutes i dont have problems with it. Probably your transactions doesn't go through because of the blockchain transaction traffic is maybe full in the time that you send it. If a bitcoin scaling solution like segwit and lightning network you can kiss the delays goodbye and the price of bitcoin will soar up dramatically cause bitcoin will be once again able to use micropayments such as buying coffee or pizza and more investors will be interested in investing to it as all the problems has been fixed in crypto currency.

The ATM fees that are charged to process the ATM TX's are the same thing as the network fees for Bitcoin TX's.  The only difference is that the fee's at the ATM can not be set by the user.  That would be interesting, though.  To see an ATM user set a stupidly lower fee than average and stand there and wait four hours for the ATM to spit their money out.

Yeah I'm also using low fees with 0.0001 BTC withdrawal fees and 60-70 sat/B and its visible pretty good for me, although I do not have many bitcon but I'm not too bothered about withdrawal fees, as long as it's still recommended I think it will be fine.

60-70 sats/b? Really a low fees there.

How's the transaction? How long before it can confirmed? You will not say it's pretty good in the first place if it's really not.

The lowest I can, and I don't know what we can expect in future with this fees, if fees continue to rise more then I will stop gambling and sending bitcoins, probably I will start to gamble with some other currency cause I don't wish to pay 5 dollars for one little transaction, that is not normal, and I agree with people who think that this what miner ate doing is just crazy.
Maybe that's why ETH is rising so much, many people are thinking about changing the ship, and that is not a joke if you ask me, what this miners are doing and why, do anyone knows?

Usually I choose to pay small fee, unless it's something urgent. Once I waited over week, but all transactions have been confirmed so far Smiley One interesting thing is, that withdraws from one of the dice services are almost instant (confirmed within 15 minuites) and they have fixed fee = 0,0003 BTC (30k sat).

Most of the times I use to convert bitcoin to some altcoin like doge or ltc or eth which usually takes lower fee and also takes less time to get confirmation. There are many exchanges as well as gambling sites available which support alot of altcoins.

Yeah thats cool feature - already seen on some websites, but usually there is some minimum required amount of coins for processing such conversion. If it would work without that limitation and with low conversion fee, that would be great Smiley

That is such a time wasting roundabout for saving a few satoshi you are better of just doing a few hours of community service instead.

And you withdraw s*coin2 instead of btc and then you do... what?
Go to another exchange deposit s*coin2 and get btc and... withdraw btc again by paying the fees?

Or are you going to get stuck forever with s*coin2 ?

No, my blckchain.info wallet is offering me around 75sat/b for some reason, so I set it manually to 240 sat/b just to be sure that it's going to get confirmations. I don't mind paying a little higher fees.

Converting your Bitcoins to alts just to save yourself some satoshis isn't really what I consider to be worthwhile. It's not only time consuming, but you'll be subject to the volatility connected to altcoins as well. You just need to include fees based on the priority according to you -- if it doesn't need to confirm directly, you can choose to go with a lower fee, and mostly your transactions get confirmed well within 10 blocks. If you need quick confirmations, then just go with the recommended fee. Don't waste your time on altcoins....

I see that the ideal way for your transfers to be fast is the way to pay intermediate rates and high rates! Today is like this ... unfortunately it is a reality in case you want your shipment to be fast!

Three months ago, I only need 50 satoshi/kb for make make transactions and it confirm very fast! But now, I need spend 250 sat/kb if I want my transaction confirm fast and this is a big fee for me because the price Bitcoin now very hight
I am still spending the same fees and I rush on to viabtc and submit my transaction, has been working well for me. Though at times the submissions are beyond limit but anyways I  manage to submit my transaction anyhow.
I am not sure if the fees would be a issue anymore as its 100-200 satoshi/byte usually.
