I was wondering if this picture was the only one (and the first?!) available.
Google image search on "Uc6VAnV.JPG" got me a link to an image with another name:

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Filfubk0KZk/U6b7sQAx5OI/AAAAAAAAAbw/wdT0ivbuHRQ/w1494-h996/cryptiCitpyrc.JPG

This link holds an actual name.

Trying to find more images with this name led me to

https://fireden.net/4chan/images.4chan.org/g/src/1403553226437.jpg

This is actually the biggest image (file size) I found.

the search results all seem to have an link to coin_artist.
But I cannot verify of any of these images is actually the first post....

I might be following the ARG rule:
-View source on all pages
Or breaking the rule
-Don't seek what lies behind the Curtain

Holy shit, I think it's morse code bottom to top (23-1) Wink

And it does not have long > 8 dots.

Can someone faster than me on this translate and post results?
I will get to it but will take me a while - sorry my right hand has been numbed for weeks and I am right handed  Embarrassed

I have made that suggestion before but since my morse code ain't that good I stopped at: c t h u l t (.) t k e t s e C e t s o

Which parts are you using?

http://www.onlineconversion.com/morse_code.htm
Those c t h u l  letters sound an awful lot like cthulhu, the HP Lovecraft works. Could be a false lead though.

Maybe not, the image has Hewlett Packard in it's info Wink

Maybe some clues in the book?Huh?

Let me say that I have a feeling that we are looking for a url that will lead us to the next step (and also add to the bounty).
Just a feeling Wink

right, but the valid morse code spelling out valid words is hard to ignore. the words can be converted to hex/decimal/etc using http://brainwallet.org/#converter. it might be a false trail but it's the most promising lead yet.

Got this: 5JGFDPA9mSyx8rmyKPX5UhVLa7vPP6SHGJHuiqaG6CAWxN9cYf9
from your conversion so far.

Once again, thanks for adding bro Wink

On a side note, trying to outguess any data of the image using "EYE" as the key was the only time I had data (byte wise) that I actually thought I got the url to the next step......

Nope I didn't.......

This: http://www.unfiction.com/dev/tutorial/Morse.html

And this: http://www.scoutnet.nl/~inter/morse/morseform.html

The problem is that some dots > 8 and can't be recognized.....

I am sure that the 1sos address is trying to tell us something though......

EDIT: Sorry I didn't get your original question.
I am using the dots.

Tried both green = - Red = .  and vice versa
this is where i'm at now:

the first part "tale hack evil yoke rode act nest noon time apex tilt" looks promising, but then the code breaks down after the tiles start hiding behind the people, which makes me think that the dots on the hidden tiles need to be guessed. though, you can still pick out some words from the remainder of text, like "... key ... hash ... tech ... you ... teen ... toe ... tips ... stop "

edit: forgot to mention that i got this by reading the dots downwards (took the hint from the countdown)

Now here is an interesting question (out of topic):

Let's say that your journey on this quest has revealed you with the private key to an address who you don't know who it belongs to but contains more than 216BTC....

Would you steal it? (because it is stealing).

Not saying that it happened nor that it will for that matter.

Just curious because it's enough money to get someone killed and their entire family.

Would you do it?

The reward is way too low judging from the difficulty of it.

The reward is to get to brag about it Wink
