It is without doubt related to ready player one. The skull seems to fit aswell. Now the question is - what is the password?
what i have tried:
Quote
human skull
sha256[human skull]
sha128[human skull]
the Tomb of Horrors
sha256[the Tomb of Horrors]
sha128[the Tomb of Horrors]
Tomb of Horrors
sha256[Tomb of Horrors]
sha128[Tomb of Horrors]
and now i'm honestly tired of bruteforcing.

If anyone has the physical book they might want to look at line 51 of chapter 7. But i can only find ebooks and they dont break lines at the same place.

password found:

5ef4621b7af0ee409e569e53377fa2513270b4a7e08ec09888f2146f4a194b9a

Double SHA-256 of Tomb of Horrors

edit: im genius hahahahaah xD

So that i obviously dices. These dices are called Platonic solids http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platonic_solid

Quote from: wikipedia
The ancient Greek belief in five basic elements, these being earth (γῆ), water (ὕδωρ), air (ἀήρ), fire (πῦρ) and aether (αἰθήρ), dates from pre-Socratic times and persisted throughout the Middle Ages and into the Renaissance, deeply influencing European thought and culture. These five elements are sometimes associated with the five platonic solids.

The word "Elements" along with the dices and your post about Platonic solids took me to this.

the question is how is that related to the puzzle?

do we have to hash again for the password? there is no clue..

This is the kind of dices they use in d&d (which also was the answer to the last puzzle). If anyone ever played that now is your chance to contribute.

Yup.  If you combine the same solid's you start getting crystal structures which is also the underlying structure for periodic elements afaik.

Reading the wiki article about tomb of horrors http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomb_of_Horrors it sounds to be very fitting to both this step and the puzzle as a whole. I just have absolutely no knowledge about classic games be it arcade or cardboard and apparently neither does any of you (since you didnt recognize the image which is included in the game).

Also i have no idea what the password is. I'm trying to use SHA1/2 on some different strings i can come up with like "Tomb of Horrors" but it just doesn't work.

FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIT FUCK!!!!!

My fucking internet comes on and off and it's fucking with my Ant miners too.

Fucking shit.

If anyone from Cyprus is reading this, stay the fuck away from Primetel, they suck! Go with Cablenet - unfortunately cable is not available in my area.....

Now, I am back (hopefully I wont lose internet access again).

Gimme some time to fix my Ants and see what I missed and will post.....
