Perhaps this is due to the fact that Argentina is in a permanent economic crisis? I don't follow events there much, but I follow a few economists on twitter (who live in Argentina) and from what I understand, things are not going well there, while Brazil is developing at a rapid pace.
And purely by my subjective feelings, I see young bright players from Brazil all the time (who are already in Europe), but I hardly see such from Argentina. If this is a real trend and not my subjective impression, then Argentina is just super lucky to win the World Cup and write itself into history, it will be more difficult in the next generations.
In short terms, yes its because of that, we cant compete in salaries, so they brought all the players who play well here and not ended up on europe.
About economics its a long history and long discussion but, yes we are not well right now.
And for last, about youngs, in Argentina we allways have that feeling of "its our last golgen generation" but always appear excellent players like Julian Alvarez, Garnacho, etc right now. ANd yes Brazil its clearly going to have more, because they are nearly 300 millions and we are only 45.
