I kept losing several over 1.5 goals bets here, yesterday two games ended 0-0 and before a couple of days another two games ended 0-0.What is the point of these results, teams defending and not attacking like they should,I have started thinking how come they became World Champions and their league lacks a lot with Riverplate dominating it in a big way. There are 28 teams playing and I thought there would be variance here, with a lot of teams yes defending but also a lot of teams conceding goals and attacking like crazy which is how a league, especially a South American league should be.Never betting here in this league again.

Sarmiento - Talleres

Talleres comes into this game as the favorite to win the game, with a difference of 9 points with the leader of the league they need to win in this game if they want to be closer to the leader of the league, in the last 5 games they have not been totally good for the Talleres who saw lose points in their last 2, 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss was Talleres' performance in the last 5 games, they are playing against Sarmiento who are not doing well either, in the last 5 games Sarmiento had 2 draws , 2 defeats and only one victory, it would be very difficult for Sarmiento to get a victory in this game, so I see that the current result in which Talleres is winning ends with a victory for Talleres

Argentinos Juniors - Instituto AC Cordoba

this is a very unpredictable game, with Argentinos Juniors performing better in the last 5 games in relation to their opponent, in the last 5 games Argentinos Juniors had 2 losses 3 wins, in their last game they had a defeat, while their opponent it has 2 draws, 2 defeats and only 1 victory, but with an important highlight that in its last game it had a victory against an opponent that placed better in the table in relation to Argentinos Juniors, that's why I think that this is a complicated game to predict the result

Well guys im losing the track with this hilarious rounds we are having in the league.

ROUND 23.

RIVER PLATE- COLON:

If River wins they put a ton of pressure on Talleres and San Lorenzo to win, so its a very important match. COlon lost the alst game in home 4-0 against racing, River its gonna put again their top players in the starting eleven , so i think its gonna be an easy win for River.
Agreed, because this match River Plate vs Colon will also be held at home River Plate, so River Plate shouldn't have any difficulty to winning Sir. I personally believe they will not lose points, to be stay away from Talleres. Meanwhile, San Lorenzo is currently having a difficult match, in the first half San Lorenzo left behind by one score, but although like that I think they will get an advantage because Racing also have lost one player due to a red card.

Tigre vs Banfield this match ends with Banfield winning by score 1-2. Tigre shouldn't have lost in the match against Banfield, I personally expected that game to end in a draw results because I bet on that match, but Banfield seem to know what they have to do when they're lead. Damn, look at the stats of that match, Tigre was completely dominate, but why they unlucky?

HURACAN - ATLETICO TUCUMAN:

Huracan and Atletico are both fighting in the bottom of the table and for relegation positions , so this game its gonna be very important for both, Huracan have a new coach, so lets see if him can find the path. The new coach its Diego Martinez who was in Tigre until now.

wow a big surprise in this weekend's games, I confess I didn't expect it.

barracas central 2 - 1 River Plate

this was a game where i believe most people were predicting a very easy win for the river plate, it was even the bookmakers favorite at odds of @1.30 and as it was the top team, number 1 playing against a team that is in position 16 and that had mixed results in its last 4 games, so it was really a game in which the river plate would not have difficulties to win, at least that on paper, the tents center in its last 4 games had 2 draws, one win and one loss, against the river plate that in the last 4 games managed to have 3 wins and 1 loss and the river plate came to this game in a sequence of 3 consecutive wins

In this game, the unbelievable thing is that Barrancas even scored 2 goals first despite having little possession of the ball and made 6 shots, 5 of which were shots on target, while the river plate has a greater possession of the ball, made 13 shots and only 3 shots to the target and only managed to score 1 goal. looking at this data even made me laugh about it all

Yes for all the people in the world its a strange result, but i said it earlier and i repeat again, dont bet against Barracas Central when they play in home games, for two main factors:

1- They are the club of the president of AFA Chiqui Tapia, and they receive some good tratment from the referees.
2- Their pitch its really dificult because its more little than the regular one , so you have less space to play, and in someteams this can make a big diference in their play.

Anyways Talleres lost their chance to cut the gap with River they draw against Godoy Cruz, so the gap still in 9 points. With 15 to play.

tucman 1 - 0 union de santa fe

this was a very unpredictable game, both teams came into this game with mixed results with union de santa fe having a small advantage when compared to the results of the last 4 games, they had 2 draws 2 wins, while tucman had 2 defeats and 2 victories, but in the field tucman was lucky to have benefited from a penalty which gave him that victory

velez 1 - 0 arsenal

this was also an unpredictable game, that's because velez came into this game with 4 consecutive defeats, and even being in a much better position than arsena who are in the last place, they didn't inspire any confidence, but surprisingly they managed to win this game, with this ends the sequence of defeats that the team had been having, this is something good to revive the team's morale, we will see if in the next game they will have a good result

I am not very familiar with the Argentinian football leagues but due to the fact I have got friends there I would like to learn a bit more about it. Here in my country is all about baseball, we do not have such a football culture like people in Argentina does, (I assume)

Does an important percentage of the country follow the matches, by the way? I am curious about it.

Hi, Hispo strange to see you here and not in the local board Tongue

Well yes i think its near to 80% easily, and the 20% who dont follow its because they are women (now the number of women seeing football its rapid increasing) and obviusly people who dont like footbal or sports in general.

The 90% of people who play other sports follow football or also they start playing other sports because they cant be sucefull on football. For example Del Potro was a tennis player but he is a fan of Boca.

80% is a lot of people, specially in a country as big as Argentina... I was expecting you to claim some figure between 40-60%.
So that means the market and the sport tourism is important there in Argentina? People traveling to get to see in person the most important local matches, what is what I mean.

By the way, the other day I saw on Deutsche Welle that people from many countries also like to visit the neighborhood where Leonel Messi grew up.  Tongue

https://rosario.tur.ar/circuitos/por-tu-cuenta/circuito-messi

https://tn.com.ar/turismo/2023/06/11/la-ruta-de-messi-en-rosario-6-lugares-que-homenajean-al-campeon-mundial/

Well yes all the weekends and also in midweek it WAS a normal think to travel when your team plays away, i write WAS because from 10 years ago till now its forbiden for "security reasons" the away supporters in the stadium. Really sad because that was the truly folklore of the football.

Now we only travel for Copa Argentina or for international competitions, also to another countrys.

Talking about Messi and NOB one of the most massive movement of people was in 2004 when NOB became champions, they moved 40.000 persons to Buenos Aires.

One thing to notice its, the mayority of people its from clubs from Buenos Aires also in the inside of the country, so sometimes you dont see so many people traveling because the "locals" took the seats.
For example if River Plays in Tucuman, to Tucuman travel a little piece of fans (barrabravas + people who follow to everyplace) and the rest comes from the Tucuman people who its also fan of River.

About that tours you mention..... i think its quite overhyped, i dont see so many people doin it, because now its not the most safe place the place where Messi born, and i also spoke because you know i live in Rosario so i know what im talking about.

Yesterday was the match of retirement of Mexi Rodriguez here and Messi comes to play in Newells Stadium, with a lot more players like Batistuta , Ortega, Scaloni,Saviola, etc.
He is still here but now he lives in the outfields of the city in Funes.

About tourist the most profitable and well know thing, its going to La Bombonera (boca stadium) all the people go to the La Boca neigborhood and also the stadium. Clearly in Buenos Aires.

Ey thanks for coming to the thread.

Yes we missed a interweek round, nothing changed so much River keep making his way into the championship and seems like Talleres its the only one following them. San Lorenzo its losing the grip.

Today game between Talleres and Lanus its gonna be very interesting, i think Lanus its gonna win and Talleres its gonna start to fall from the leaderboard.

the games of that round did not have any result that was not expected when it comes to the game of the team at the top of the table, the river plate that played against the institute managed to win in a very comfortable way, although in the 1st minute of the 1st half the institute scored 1 goal, the river plate managed to reach a tie at 34 minutes, until now the game was very balanced, until at 46 minutes the institute received a red card and with that it was left with only 10 players, that was great luck for the river plate that managed to score 2 goals and won the game. probably if you didn't have that red card, the river plate would have difficulties to win the game

on the other hand, talleres will play against lanus, in a game in which it is expected that talleres will have a lot of difficulties to win the game, lanus has not lost in the last 5 games and has shown to have good defense, which is why a draw would not be a surprise, in fact there is a greater chance of this happening, with a big difference in points, something like 10 points in relation to first place, a loss of points in that game will leave talleres much further from the top, so for me it is safe to say that the river plate will be champions this season, I don't see talleres or other teams competing with the river plate

Thanks Slow death for comment.

Yes we start a new round today. Round 20.

Barracas Central - Rosário Central

Barracas Central in the last few games managed to get good results, and in the last 5 games Barracas Central managed to have 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 defeat and currently occupy the number 18 position with 19 goals scored and 26 goals conceded, they have a very weak attack and in this game his opponent Rosário Central in the last 5 games only had one defeat, having had 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat and currently occupy the number 5 position with 29 goals scored and 23 goals conceded, which shows that he has better attack in relation to Barracas Central, so in my opinion Rosário Central will win this game

Central in away games its not so solid, and Barracas..... can make a win in  home if they receive the usual arbitral help.

Independent - Sarmiento

Sarmiento comes to this game with average results, although in the last 5 games they have not lost in any game, they only won in 2 games and comes from a sequence of 3 consecutive draws, currently occupying the position number 13 with 18 goals scored and 15 goals conceded, they don't have a great attack but they have a good defense, on the other hand, their opponent Independiente in the last 5 games only won in 1 game and comes to this game with a sequence of bad results, I see this game ending with a draw

Independiente needs a win desperately, they are a BIG club and they have a big fear for relegation, the stadium its gonna be a boil.

I dont know any about Sorare, you can enlight me, you have to pay? you can earn money?, how its meassure?.

When im gonna post i go to check, but i see Melluso in good condition also he its gonna play this week against Union. I see in 10 may he maybe lose a game because he lose his mom.

thanks for this info, that is probably the reason, he had some injuries last year, and I thought he is up to similar season again, but obviously it is family loss

regarding SorareSorare, yeah, it is fantasy football, you have to have NFT cards to play, and Argentine football is covered with these, you play with 5 cards (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, attacker and extra cards that cannot be goalkeeper), and result is based on their performances
since WC, there are also free competitions as well, you get 8 common cards, and play fantasies (EPL, La Liga, Calcio, Ligue1, Bundesliga and MLS (USA)), that is free to try, but it is really hard to get to reward paying positions

not sure that I would recommend it at the moment, I am playing due to having cards for few years now, but reward budget slipped for all competitions, and it is getting harder to get any reward, but it is free to try now
also, they have NBA and MLB, if you following those

wasn't aware of this topic, have one question
what do you think, if you follow Gimnasia LP at all, about Mathias Melluso, seems to be often injured, and it is hard to find some information about injuries (have his card on Sorare platform, and he is usually good defender, but often missing matches)

do you have some suggestion on good site/news to follow Argentina football league (sorry if I missed it in previous posts)

EY man, nice to see you here!

Well i really dont follow GELP so much, i know the player you are talking about b ecause he is one of the regulars one on the eleven of GELP (gimansia lp), about injuries..... in Argentina we have a lot of muscular injuries for two main factors:

1- The argentinian footbal its very rough and harsh to play, every player you comeback from europe always strugled with this, its slow but very physical.
2- The personal trainers of each team, some PF makes a bad preparation or make the player do so much work and they start being injured so often, for example here Newells old Boys fans are asking to replace his actual physical trainer for this issue, they have a long list of injuries.

I dont know any about Sorare, you can enlight me, you have to pay? you can earn money?, how its meassure?.

Belgrano and Talleres are derby of Cordoba, so we cant do so much analisys. The match ended 1-1 in a very passional game.

The other two games you mention also ended up in a draw, very strange but well this its football. Huracan has changed his manager the last round now B ataglia former manager of Boca its the new manager.

I agree with Talleres coming out as victorious in this game too,Belgrano is somewhat of a high volatile team and most likely they are going to lose in tonight game.To be sure though I would bet on Talleres draw no bet as they have been running on a great consistency above all and the results have start to come, they are now near the top of the standings.

For Sarmiento I also agree that most likely they will win but I am not as sure as the game of Talleres while for Colon vs Barracas Central I strongly favor Colon De Santa Fe to win this game as if they don't win against Barracas Central at home then against which team will they win.Let me go and place some nice bets on Argentina Superliga as I won 0.10 Litecoin from the games of afternoon.
