Aaaaand.... we've FINALLY changed the "ARK on Binance" in the title to "Core v2 Live"!
Now what I want is to hear the next steps from project PHANTOM which is built on ARK and Blockport which is planing to incorporate ARK in some of its functions.
In the meantime, big players play their games with Bitcoin and the altcoins just follow the price disregarding the awesome work that is being done by a few projects like ARK.

Ark team has done great job as planned and everything went smoothly in seamless way. This is called start of new era for Ark as project and for its holders who stayed strong without shaking their hands. This will set example of how good work can be planned and delivered on time. Ark is going to regain its position of one of the highly important player in market in near future again.

Today is the day! Delegates will switch off their old nodes and start forging process on all new ARK Core. Switch will start today around 4PM UTC. We'll keep you updated via social media channels as we progress.

Migration to the new ARK Core v2 has been successfully completed on Mainnet. With this milestone, we begin a new era of ARK development and have a foundation for a more stable & efficient network. ARK Core v2 will empower developers to build new modular features and customizations. Allowing the ARK Ecosystem team to work on a more iterative release cycle moving forward. ARK Core v1 is now deprecated.

It's just so hard to read I guess. Actually word "fork" is a good marketing. You could just make a fake fork and recreate some shitty coin and people will come and buy your coin, just because.

Thats not how it works, no one gets free anything. ARK updates the code and the delegates switch to the new code. Thats it in a nut shell.
Please read that blog post you linked, it answers everything you asked. Under USERS section.

I know what you're saying, deploy a gaming dapp on a sidechain (bridgechain) to not bloat the main chain. Since it will be completely editable you can even make a EOS like chain (centralized, hight tps)

This is what I was looking for to know the feedback of people on migration process. One colleague of us here has told based on Slack discussions that everything is going well as planned. That is true people are not paying attention or aren't understanding the potential after the mainnet will be up completely. You can tell them but can't change their views who sees potential jumps without loosing a moment.

So starting from today on week will take for complete the migration process. Monday is the day with main focus in relation to exchanges upgrading with new core v2. This blog explains everything in details what one can be interested to know. I would like to draw attention towards that interesting video about DPos which shows how it will works. Where I can find the latest wallet update. The one that´s needed for the fork?
In the article it's stated that once the chain will fully upgrade to V2, a message will pop up in your wallet, containing the link to download the 2.0 wallet (as always like everytime a new upgraded wallet is available for download)
