Yes but both AI and block chain technology is different. Artificial intelligence can help in enhancement of block chain and make some task easier using automation and make work easier but Blockchain and AI has some difference, pros and con's but they can't compete with each other.

I’m no tech expert, but based on my general knowledge of the two technologies, data sharing will be more secure. It’s a decentralized intelligence, so to speak. And because the audit trail will be clearer, this will help us trust AI better, which I think is the main concern of most people. But I do think AI and blockchain will make a great tandem.

Artifical Intelligence ,to [put in simple terms is nothing but the machines becoming the humans,since it is heavily Automated security is a major concern in AI .I think Block Chain and AI will not compete each other but will serve as a backup for each other .Block Chain can be used to store lot's of information that is done by AI.For instance,if the tasks in banks are perfomed by AI ,then Block Chain can deal with all the security issues related to the bank.
