Well AI is now being re-branded into Artificial General Intelligence. This type performs the general and not the specific. AI can really influence blockchain in many positive ways but its just a matter of time. Researches are still ongoing and some are being tested for the hypothesis. If its yields a positive result, then I think blockchain will be the greatest technology of this generation. We hope to reach there someday.
Can someone explain how artificial intelligence will effect blockchain/crypto projects from now on? What is the importance of artificial intelligence?
Many technology groups have plans to develop artificial intelligence to address problems that no human being currently has. Developing and managing artificial intelligence products is the way to promote human development, to shape a new world. The benefits that AI brings will make companies invest billions in this industry. But controlling it is not easy. One option to solve the problem is Blockchain - which plays a very important role in controlling machine learning and AI technology. The irreversible nature of logs is an important mechanism to allow regulations to be implemented on AI autonomous entities.
Blockchain may also allow access control to any autonomous AI entity based on the reputation of that autonomous agent. After all, maybe the only sanction you can apply to a free AI is to terminate it; Or if you do not have that power, remove access to the AI community. This can be seen as the "cessation of communication" of AI individuals and the modern world.

IMO Artificial Intelligence is overhyped a lot. In the end all is build upon if-statements.
The goal should be to combine AI and the human mind so that the mind will profit from the AI.
You can't simply implement an AI into a blockchain.
You can use mechanism to check the security of a system or to simulate the outcome of a specific scenario in the future. But a direct connection between an AI and a blockchain probably won't exist in the near future.
At least i am not seeing a specific use case with this.
An AI is mostly only helpful when supporting humans (e.g. detection of cancer). Sure, you can build this upon a blockchain since it theoretically doesn't matter which kind of database you are accessing. But there aren't real benefits of blockchains compared to local databases in this case.
Strong AI right now is a dream, many people think that we are going to have a human like robot doing everything for us, but the truth is that it is likely we are going to have hundreds of robots with a Weak AI that is focused on solving only one issue and is easy to see that will be the future, since there is not a single instance of a Strong AI but we interact with Weak AI all the days of our lives. The goal should be to combine AI and the human mind so that the mind will profit from the AI.

AI will definitely help people by making their tasks easier. There are some things that AI cannot do better than human mind, for those we will definitely need manpower but it will remove burden of a lot of work, make processes faster and help workplace to become efficient by helping humans in all possible ways.

Artificial intelligence means that the blockchain will be able to think and run itself. Most of the processes that require a programmer or troubleshooter will simply be automated. A computer is a much more efficient calculator than human beings could ever be. Artificial intelligence can easily be scaled, meaning its dynamics can be reproduced at the micro or macro levels on a scaling spectrum.It will be artificial intelligence executing smart contracts and what ever else process that can be replicated digitally.
Combining blockchain and AI might not bring much benefit but both are extremely helpful for human beings. Blockchain stores data and adds transparency whereas AI helps in making human tasks more simple and easy. AI developers can use blockchain if they are looking to launch ICO or crowdfunding. Other than that, there is no use in combining these in the near future.
The main change that AI will bring in my opinion is that it will make the process faster and foolproof. Rather than substituting human mind AIs will be used to compliment them by increasing efficiency of any project. Also AIs can used to assist consumers by answering their queries and providing them with data and analysis which would have needed a lot of human minds to process.
Data is highly secure in blockchain,with the combination of AI and this data encryotion they will work together to do work much better in future and reduce any kind of security risk

Blockchain with Artificial Intelligent will be good for bussiness. Many cryptocurrency platform using AI. I think AI on blockchain to process big data because in era right now, data is most valueable commodities. With AI, big data can be processed more faster and accurate. Most big company right now using Artificial intelligent because its more cheap but its can provide big data in short time.
I own a coin called Peculium which uses an AI bot to predict market prices and gives buy and sell indicators. AI is useful because it can scan the internet, learn patterns and do the work while you make the profit. That's the one way I know about AI on the blockchain.
