You must understand about what's Bitcoin, how it's works, disadvantages, advantages and the other technical aspect first. If you jump to invest Bitcoin without any knowledge and Bitcoin price move otherwise with your prediction, you will call Bitcoin is scam since it just make you loss. This is why you need to invest because of your knowledge, not because the price only.

If you want to start buy Bitcoin, you must bought hardware wallet and use decentralized exchange.
It is also important to learn about the development and market of bitcoin. but mostly beginners, they are just enthusiastic about the bitcoin market. they know to trade, create accounts and learn how to trade. that's what is currently developing in society.
not something wrong I guess. I used to just buy bitcoins just like that. without even knowing a good analysis. just create an account on the exchange and make a purchase then hold it long term till profit. that was my basic knowledge when I just bought bitcoin for the first time.
most importantly knowing that bitcoin is a risky asset. for beginners, just buy and hold long term. and always use money that we can afford to lose.

Though am a beginner and I found this forum interested, and I believe that it's the best platform for me,and I still don't understand the modes of operations and ethics and kind of investment on this platform.
Bitcoin over the years friends have told me the positive impact and implications,so my fellow members, pls put a brother true,if am too early to invest or not
I relay on your advice and explanation to have great hope and the mind to continue and to also inform others about this, just as I was told by a friend.
Since you are just learning about the forum, I will want you to be very patient and learn the necessary so that you will have enough knowledge about the crypto market and what it entails. The market do go up and down and I will want you to be string if eventually you bought coins at a particular price and you starting seeing the price going down, you will need to know that the market goes down and in a random ways and it should not be an opportunity for you to see the crypto market as a waste of time because crypto has both it honey part and the sour parts.

You should know you can't invest in the forum, because it's called Bitcointalk those not mean you can purchase bitcoin here, and anybody that private chat you to help you invest in bitcoin is definitely trying to scam you, so you should ignore any message received.
Before you should invest in bitcoin, you should have basic knowledge of bitcoin and cryptocurrency, you shouldn't just invest because you see other people investing, don't just follow people and invest blindly.
After learning the necessary things you should know about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I think you should just buy bitcoin, transfer from exchange wallet address to your non custodial wallet address and hold.

First of all, I wish to welcome you to this forum, and also clear the fact that this forum is not an investment platform of any kind, but a forum with an embodiment of knowledge to learn all that is needed in your Bitcoin journey. However, looking at the current price of bitcoin of $20,000 with it's all-time high price of $68,000, tells me that its still never late to invest in Bitcoin, in as much as you intend to hodl for a long term, because there is every tendency Bitcoin rising back to its previous All time high or going higher when the global economy gets stable in the future.

Bitcoin seems new to me on daily basis, you don't have to assume that you are late. Everyday, learn a new thing about Bitcoin like everyone else in this forum. Days goesby quickly and soon the Bitcoin network will become familiar to you. Ask questions when possible and try to engage with the answers under your thread. It's a sign of acknowledgement and learning get easier from contributing to people's responses. With the little knowledge you attain here as a beginner, talking to people about Bitcoin won't be difficult.

you should know that this forum is not an investment platform although there are many big projects coming from this forum. as a newbie all you have to do is read the basic rules about what you can and can't do in this forum.

Bitcoin over the years friends have told me the positive impact and implications,so my fellow members, pls put a brother true,if am too early to invest or not

Bitcoin has been circulating for more than 12++ years, besides that the current bitcoin price is -50%+ of its ATH so it's not too early to buy Bitcoin.

I relay on your advice and explanation to have great hope and the mind to continue and to also inform others about this, just as I was told by a friend.

I suggest you have to be more familiar with friend who tells you about this forum, don't feel like you can be better than his/her, maybe your friends have a lot of experience in this forum and you should be able to ask for her/his help to share tips and tricks that he/she does on the forum this.

I'm sure you know that here isn't an investment forum but rather a talk and discussion forum and Bitcoin just like every other investment and business, something must be invested just as the name investment implies.
First thing first, your interest and enthusiasm truly matters before any other thing, I really don't know your major reason for wanting to get involved in Bitcoin but I also want to sound it very clear that it is volatile and no one can gauranty you a profit because everything depends on you.
Learning never ends and the typical example is the things you see over here in the forum.
The forum is the right place for you to be with regards to Bitcoin as it was founded by Satoshi himself the originator of Bitcoin.
I would advise that you first learning the rudiments of Bitcoin now that you have the interest

Bitcointalk is a community forum — you don't really do any "investing" in this platform (Bitcointalk is technically not an exchange, though you can buy/sell crypto here), unless you're planning on starting some online business and sell stuff here.
Exactly, but the OP could invest some time here learning about how bitcoin investing is a better option than invest fiat in a bank account.

Some users may misunderstand what a community forum like bitcointalk does, it could be because of wrong information or indeed something else. I believe the OP will learn, but now it seems he knows that forums are not investment platforms.

I am more than sure that the OP came to the forum on the advice of friends or acquaintances who also have the hope of getting rich quickly. I always pay attention to the posts of a person who is going to invest in bitcoins with great enthusiasm, but after reading the posts, one can easily draw conclusions about the real reason for the person's appearance on the forum.
Posting topics on very distant topics from Bitcoin and an instant desire to invest in it suggests that the desire will remain a desire, since the user has not yet developed a real interest in the topic on which he created the post.

Welcome to this wonderful land bro. First of all you need to know the knowledge is your most powerful weapon to be successful. Before investing learn basic things and how its works. For instance if you didn't read bitcoin whitepaper i suggest you need to read it and understand why this revolution has started. Then check the graphs over the year and watch some analysis about graphs. And also on youtube many videos shared by newbie about their experiences, failures, mistakes etc. Other's experiences will be your gains Smiley

The best and first available advise for a newbie to do before any investment is learning about bitcoin, how will someone just dabble into something he had no clue on how it operates, this is onebof the reasons why loosing is inevitable for most newbies inbthe system, another way to invest is to first have it at the back of your mind that bitcoin is not a ponzi get rich quick avenue even though such opportunity might come after your investment that the bitcoin price surges high and there may be a new all time high for the price during this your buying period, so you can basically choose to buy or earn bitcoin for your investment.

You can invest in bitcoin whenever you want, but you need to remember that investing means you have to be able to control your emotions because the price of bitcoin is always changing and can make you panic.
You can choose an exchange to start buying from and Binance is a great place to start but you have to complete verification there or use a non-centralized exchange like Bisq.
Try not to panic if the price drops but see it as a way to buy more bitcoins.
Buy bitcoins using the DCA method so you can buy bitcoins at low prices.

I will give a short guide in order to make you understand the most safest and secure way to buy and hold Bitcoin.

3. Only use Bisq to buy Bitcoin, don't use centralized exchange.

It's fine to buy Bitcoin on a centralized exchange because they can be traded after dealing with the buyer/ seller.

Assuming you've already dealt with KYC and traded shitaltcoins there.

While most of us already had that plan for long term like more than 10 years from now, so it's up to you think that if an early of a decade from now on is too early to invest or not.

The reality will be painful for most that don't consider buying bitcoin as early as they can do right now. Because we'll see how it goes based on the halving cycles and that will be higher as a fact.

There will be bumps and roller coaster road because it won't be a straight line going up there.

Newbie investing bitcoin without proper knowledge of the technology behind it is too risky.
I would say not too important to understand the technical part for bitcoin if you are taking it for investment purposes because it's not easy task to be familiar with technical part or say working of bitcoin with network. For example there are lot of stuff like UTXO,Master key and children keys and other technical stuff which will not be easy to understand by everyone not having technical knowledge.

But yes they should be having knowledge of how to make transactions, which wallet to use like non custodial wallets or hardware wallets or if they want to have bitcoin core download and save their funds in them safely with backup of seeds phrases in proper format which is essential. There are lot of scammers also trying to scam you of funds so always be safe from them by keeping update of the market.

So they should understand that bitcoin is best investment tool to safeguard them against inflation as well and if they hold patiently over time they can surely gain profits out of it without any problem but as you say always DYOR but don't go for altcoins at all which may sound attractive to you but don't have any utility with them and turn you into racks.

Undeniably, Bitcoin has become one of the most popular investment instruments today. Bitcoin investment can be done by anyone even those of you who are new to Bitcoin. You can start with small capital, you also need to need a more in-depth fundamental analysis of Bitcoin before getting into it.
Bitcoin does offer great benefits, but there are risks involved. You need to develop the right strategy before starting to invest using Bitcoin, one of which is buying Bitcoin when the price is down. To do so sounds easy, but the process is not as simple as you think because it takes proper analysis to buy and sell Bitcoin to get the profit you want.
