It's confirmed by @Slow death above and I also read that article but at least they didn't include the ICO projects, trading signals, or any affiliate that incentives those who paid the ads.  Good to see it was now lifted and in this case, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be common in Google and become well known to everyone who used Google.

But how about Google filtering their ads that contain a malicious link, they can't even do to fix this and give security to their users.

And Google has not tweeted anything about this ad being discussed. could it be secretly and when we visit a site or some kind of article it will display Bitcoin ads?
Because if google makes a tweet about bitcoin ads are no longer blocked, of course, it will have an impact on prices that should have bounced back today.

No, you shouldn't use tweeter for this news if you want updates related to their ads you should always check their announcement. Like this announcement below
- https://support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/10688110?hl=en

Because of this announcement, it won't be easy for those who try to advertise on Google to make ads for crypto unless if they are verified and registered on FinCEN.

About the price impact, this news is already posted by some users here and already spread on the news and blogs. It was announced last June.

As you can see on the chart the price of bitcoin reaches the 40k level from 30k yesterday so it might be one of the reasons why the price increased to 40k yesterday.

I am not sure about this ban, I think he never used it 100%. I've seen Google ads many times that promote crypto, what’s worse, there were some very suspicious projects on those ads.
I'm kind of convinced it's just money. although there is a ban if someone pays enough, it can be allowed.
there is more and more money in the crypto, google won't let that money just go away, without trying to take part.
Seconded on this one because i could still see those odds related with crypto which i can say that "is there really a ban?". Its true that Google wont really just let things to be on waste
specially they could really make money out of those and this is business and its likely they would really be letting those ads even its pure scam.
For now this is a good news if ever this is true. Adoption aint stopping now but at least they should really be that serious on moderating scam and possible frauds.

The ban has been lifted and was given the 3rd of August 2021 for reconsideration only on one condition ..only the ones that have their wallets and exchange registered with FINANCIAL CRIMES ENFORCEMENT NETWORK (fincen) will be authorised formally by google..

I've tried to type bitcoin in google to see if there will be some top banner ads and search result ads but there's none that existed after typing that keyword.

But if this is true, there will be more scammers that's going to take advantage of it and hopefully that they've got a better filtering this time as they allowed it again.

It can only be bullish if they’re allowing exchanges & reputable companies to advertise again. Hopefully it brings lots more average joes into bitcoin because we need retail to flow in to restart this bull market.

I think the twitter must be misinterpreting what google said would go into effect on august 3rd:

Beginning August 3, advertisers offering Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Wallets targeting the United States may advertise those products and services when they meet the following requirements and are certified by Google.

honestly i don't understand google, they let hyip site scammers do whatever they want for years and have never done anything to stop hyip site scammers from doing no harm, but google has gone to great lengths to ban bitcoin

I think it's probably for the best that they keep it banned to be honest. Especially at the time it is now, if we are nearing the end of the bull market. I have seen a lot of dodgy ads on duckduckgo still and I have a feeling those might just move across (although, that's probably the reason they might be thinking of bringing it back if a rival can compete with them on something then they'll probably be trying to quash it to keep up competition).

(June 3rd is the article I can find): It might've been something they were trying to silently pass though: https://beincrypto.com/google-allow-crypto-exchange-wallet-advertisements/
