I've seen these walls before.

Think about it - If this guy bought, say, 1000 shares at IPO, he has probably gained 100x his investment by now.

His wall is worth like $100k now from almost nothing. I bet he's happy to get what he's getting.

Doesn't mean it's not a good investment for us. But agreed, why not move it to BTCT or auction here?

The wall is likely owned by DeadTerra, whom is liquidating shares that are part of a group-owned fund that is being settled from the GLBSE days.

I've seen this ~500 quantity ask wall before. It'll loom ~5% over the smallest asks and retreat after it starts taking real hits. TBH I'm pretty confident it'll move back up after 100-200 shares of it get bought. Happened twice before after we broke out of the ~.8BTC/share price and also the ~1.25BTC/share price.

I'm not complaining, I've got some btc coming in a day or two and I'd love for the price to stay low till I'm done buying

I'll be reinvesting my dividends, but I don't have any more to invest!

If you already have funds in Bitfunder, you can buy and get the dividend. If you don't have funds there, you probably won't beat the dividend payment.

I tried to beat it, sent some coins 3 hours ago but forgot to put a transaction fee so it has been stuck unconfirmed for 3 hours :| Just got 1 confirm now... but I won't beat it. BAH!
