@notspoonchop  I heart a good dance party. This thread isn't reason to party for anyone but you. Have a great time bud.  Kiss

I see what you did there! Party on  Lips sealed

Apparently, they're all Mircea Popescu's sock puppets.

Not sure about that.
I'd say a few Anons behind AM & AMH are banging hookers and blow (who knows, mebby they just do lines...).  May not be your idea of a perfect party (with your "passion for learning" & "integrity" & all), but they'll try to make do.
Anyhow, shit not as depressing when somebody else's paying for it, amirite?

... I don't like losing money but losing my integrity is far worse.

Then stop lying.  You, like everyone else, invested because you wanted to make money.  You lost it instead.
My schadenfreude wouldn't be half as freudig if you got robbed on your way to give this money to the poor, or to rescue a kitty from a tree.
You weren't.
You simply didn't get filthy rich by sitting on your ass.  You got poor, which is all as it should be.  Perfect.

Yeah, O.k.    Roll Eyes  I actually profited wildly on A.M.  I didn't lose money and I still have much more than you ever will have. Deal with it Cheesy

I don't sit on my ass. I work hard for what I have and I have a passion for learning to be more efficiently productive to satisfy any greed I may have. You are the one who sits around posting crap on a forum wasting all your precious time.

Nothing LambChop or RoadStress said had any factual basis. That makes them about as right as a broken clock.

I based my sayings on the lack of any factual basis. The lack of any update regarding the self-mining, the lack of a financial report and the lack of the information overall. All the lacks makes it a factual basis for the dying cash cow that was AM.

You were correct in your assessment and I should have listened. My apologies for any vitriol I may have sent in your direction.

Thank you. As an advice please remember that it's not about what we should have done, it's about what we learned Smiley

Of course it doesn't, don't be silly. Like I've told you repeatedly now, you seem not to understand what a fact is as you keep trying to claim that your opinions are facts.

Sure sure.

But yeah, I do enjoy seeing greed & stupidity punished.  Is that so wrong?

I don't know if I would say "wrong" but weird and creepy fur sure. Don't let me stop you from enjoying whatever makes your bum hum. I only know my own intentions but greed is not my highest value in life by far. I will do very well eventually and it will be because I will learn from my mistakes and live in accordance with my highest values. I don't like losing money but losing my integrity is far worse.

...As a matter of fact, current regulation environments are dumb, animal greed is why there was a desire for people to invest in pseudonymous companies or individuals and a good excuse to be anonymous as possible for the "investment" offering parties. ...

All fixed.

I don't think there is anything wrong with investing and it's not necessarily greed that motivates investors. Some people genuinely want to see fledgling businesses get start up funds and are willing to take the risk. You are just a sad little beastie who enjoys saying "itodaso" and revels in schadenfreude for whatever reason.  Maybe mommy gave more attention to a sibling than you and the feeling stayed throughout adulthood?

What, other than greed, could possibly motivate a reasonable individual to invest in a company as diametrically opposed & ruinous to both the democratic beginnings of Bitcoin (people mining with spare CPU cycles) and common sense (not sending money to internet strangers and hoping to see any of it back) as AM is?

But yeah, I do enjoy seeing greed & stupidity punished.  Is that so wrong?

I hope people STOP investing in these unregulated scams after this, but we all know they will not  Undecided

Regulation has nothing to do with it. Identity and reputation along with due diligence and proper justice systems  would be fine. As a matter of fact, current regulation environments are why there was a desire for people to invest in pseudonymous companies or individuals and a good excuse to be anonymous as possible for the "investment" offering parties.

I considered failure of AM as a strong possibility and was nearly convinced of it at first but this is looking more and more like an exit scam at the very most benign of possible scenarios.
