Does anyone know the actual address of the asicminer office?

I'd say someone must.  I find it hard to believe that everyone simply sent money to a random Anon from the internet.

Well folks,
This looks like the end of the road for AM.  Friedcat has abandoned it.  I secretly hope this nudges him out, but all indications are that he has left the building.  Another one bites the dust. Sad

Are you referring to Friedcat coming to the forums here to update shareholders or are you insinuating that Friedcat has abandoned ASIC MINER? I assumed the reason he has not shown up lately is due to the holiday there, the fact the chips are being mass produced now so there may be down time, and he isn't known for posting often unless there is something needed to say.

Want to clearly elaborate for the rest of us? What is being suggested would be potentially devastating news.

Where are you hearing this from?

Is it just me or is this downtime from Havelock suspiciously 'poorly' timed. AMHash suspends dividends and now this Friedcat rumour. It's a little too circumstantial for my taste.    Huh

This is very sad to hear. Really doesn't sound Friedcat-like at all. Why would the guy who has always gone out of his way to make things right do this?

Only reason I can think of would be that be300 turned out to be a total failure.

Can you elaborate further on what makes you think FC abandoned the company?
Internal interference.  I would guess he's had enough of bullshit

These are strong words coming from you Canary. I wonder what is going on over there.

What is "internal interference", and what bullshit has he had enough of?

Can you just tell us everything you know? This is like trying to put together a puzzle with just a single piece..

yeah
and that farm i posted above is all antminer machines
looks like another fail year like last one for AM
what exactly does FC do over there in china anyway?

It's not all antminer machines.

It's a megafarm in inner Mongolia started by an AM customer (hashratio) and it's where practically all Chinese manufacturers set up their farms. (Avalon, Hashratio, Innosilicon, Bitmain, and several other mining operations)

FC knows about this place and has likely already deployed there or somewhere else with equally cheap electricity.

I would think their only market at this point is self mine and AMHash. I just noticed a Prisma 2.0 was released...was this even advertised?

BitFury has announced it has completed the manufacturing of its anticipated 28nm ASIC chip.

The company reported the chip has been tested to deliver 0.2 joules-per-gigahash, a figure it had advertised widely at the time the project was announced.

BitFury continuously improves its market-leading technology and we are already hard at work on the next generation 16nm chip that is expected to achieve 0.06 J/Gh this year.

I thought that was AM plan from the start too. Except that it never materialized. (except a useless 500kW immersion cooling setup)

FURring bitcoin up since 1762
Right now is the ONLY time I DONT want news from AM.
That's all we need, havelock closed, good fucking news, and no way to exploit the gains.

Well if the news are great, the price will go up when Havelock is back in business, or when we've found another way to trade our shares, like colored coins or something. But I agree that it would take away a bit of the warm fuzzy feeling of seeing the price go up on Havelock!

Hope you've got no open sell orders Wink

Ha, aww crap. Tongue No I don't I guess... Maybe an open buy order for 0.01 just in case or something, don't recall... They should do the same and nuke the whole orderbook, especially if news from AM get released in the meantime!
