Seems like they started renting out their hash power (many new IPs finding blocks on blockchain, very low hash power for ASICMINER), should we still expect blades sells? Seems kinda hard to keep track of dividends this way.

Only one person who knows what's going on ..... but in the end, the proof of the pudding is in the dividend pay out each week, this week's pudding wasn't very tasty. Let's hope this is very temporary. There is too much competition coming online for serious mistakes not to kill dividends and therefore share price.

Regular news from friedcat isn't needed when all is rosy in the garden. Communication becomes more important during rocky periods.

Cmon now everybody.. stop freaking out.

We know it's definitely not 6% and we know there's no conspiracy here.

Just be patient (and stop selling cheaper..).

Please don't listen to this guy. If you want out please go ahead. Can't be more happy to fill your pockets with coins and mine with shares.

+1
Panic everyone, I like sub-4 AM shares.  They are yummy.

I'm not one to think that Friedcat needs to update us everytime the hashrate drops 10-20% below the weekly average... but something is definitely up right now. What's going on?

AM found one!! Grin What's that, like several hours.

Oh, the good ol days.....

You're talking about blocks?
They've found more today, but just not with the ASICMINER tag. Wink

https://blockchain.info/blocks/82.1.136.194

This IP found a block for example, and added it to the address of ASICMINER.

https://blockchain.info/block-index/402738/0000000000000047c930af80cfbc3979d1f97778049d62599113880a76622297

Does anyone know why Friedcat isn't tagging them?

Perhaps he's testing blades that he will be shipping out? Or a bug...?

Conspiracy alert!

maybe he is generating profit, but he does not want to show it, as that would mean he has to include it in the div.

I know you're kidding, but the reason we are even discussing this is because Smiguel pointed out that the mining reward was sent to the main ASICMiner bitcoin address... so, those bitcoins were included in our divs.

So instead of hiding profit and not including it in the divs, he's hiding profit to artificially boost divs? That sly dogcat!

But this seriously made me think about this whole conspiracy concept. Not specifically speaking about FC, but about the whole BTC mining industry. CEOs of these securities could easily - like the way stated above - hide their profits and cut off a little bit from every div. I never tought of this before..surely a great opportunity to scam the investors.

Either way, an official update would be nice, also, I am eager to see the div boost after the blades start selling  Smiley

There hasn't been anywhere else worth investing in for a while either. Friedcat has an excellent track record and I'm sure AM will continue to do well, it's just they've got some actual competition now.

It does seem that the shares are still fairly highly priced; in fact I'm expecting them to fall further. I don't think the company's best days are behind it, but the "taking candy from a baby" days probably are. The company still has its talent intact, and I expect enough cash to fund new product development cycles internally. I don't think Friedcat is surprised that there is now competition nor would he be panicking.

Pretty much this they might not be gems but they are interesting enough to spend a bit of time looking
That said they are growth plays dividend plays are still AM exclusively

Seems ridiculous that ASICMiner is tanking. The dividend is still roughly what's been predicted and it's still a great return for the share price.

I think now is the time to buy up things for cheap. People aren't selling because they've lost faith in everything else. They are selling because they are desperate for coins to invest in new things. The price should rebound as more money flows into the market.

People are scared about the hashrate being only 6%. This is a transition period in the hardware deployment cycle. This company has a ton of hardware to sell in coming months.

Saying that ASICMINER is mining @ 6% is just wrong. The actual hashrate is higher but blockchain.info doesn't count the untagged blocks. Wink

Check my previous post for more info about that. Smiley

Hmmm that's an excellent way to hide having over 50% of the network.  Except when you follow the cashflow to the same wallet.
