I'm the author of that site.

1. This is just for solo mining (so the first weeks on this graph doesn't reflect everything mined, because they were still pool mining at the time). Now it reflects it accurately, because they are no longer pool mining.

2. It is up-to-date for this week. It is updated every time a new ASICMiner block is announced to the network.

Did you create that image? The ASICMINER logo would look great on a t-shirt...

Don't think friedcat has 1.34M bitcoins laying around

My guess is around ~0.015 without HW sales.
Not record-breaking, but knowing what to come (announcement new Blades, new USB sticks, almost 200TH/s ready from fab I really don't care a lot )

OTHERWISE to me this thread is all encompassing talk about things related to ASICMINER.  Sure it would be nice to have separate threads for everything... but without a subforum those threads just get lost.  Till such time as we get a subforum... or an official forum... or something else this will remain the situation.  You are not going to convince people, well at least me, to split up into multiple threads when those threads are scattered over several different forums on bitcointalk.

Well I agree with empoweoqwj its about building brand awareness there are a lot more sketchy ads out there than that for sure.
Anyways it's almost dividend time so time to get some popcorn out and relax a bit

EDIT: Dooglus went to bed before changing the ad. I understand what you are saying, but essentially the ad is "brand awareness". There is nothing wrong with that, and imho, something ASICMINER is in desperate need of.

What's wrong with offering financial advice? Thousands of people in every country on the planet make their living offering (normally dodgy) financial advice. This is simply another option for people to consider putting their money into. What's wrong with that? bitcointalk would be immediately cut in half if you took out all the advice posts. Like it or not, bitcoin and bitcoin derivatives are speculative. Letting people know about one way to invest their bitcoins  is not a crime I know of.

If that's true I'll credit the Ad to MP but will wait for some official confirmation and not a she hmm didn't know that

I don't think MP made a ASIC ad though seems strange but yah the vagina ad is her work all right lol

Official ad network? These ads seem to be manually run by mircea_popescu? Look at the vagina ad for just dice on bitbet. Look at the source code, it's hardcoded with a random() function. Seems like the person who runs this network is just throwing up ads for his own sites and things he's invest in.
