Ah but he doesn't say that there is no-one with read-only access to his account. Makes sense or else nothing could be done if he had a sick day.
I'm not aware of any forum software supporting such a feature.
You can give someone the password to your account and have them read your PM's in your absense. If you can trust that person there's no need for a technical measure.
What's the point of reading pm's + emails if you can't act.
He says very clearly he "contacts shareholders himself". So any email you get from friedcat saying shares have been transferred has come from friedcat himself.
You can't get any clearer. He does it himself.
His partners contact the shareholders from their own accounts as FC states. If he is unable to access his PM's for whatever reason they would need to be aware of any requests made to him so they'd need to be able to read his PM's.
If you take sick leave or go on vacation you probably have your work e-mails forwarded to a colleague. You can't let customers and suppliers wait until you have returned. My guess is that the same happens with FC's PM's.
I'm not saying in the case of an emergency he doesn't have contingency plans for some other person to take over. All I saying is this:
"It has been and will always be me myself who use the forum id friedcat to post updates and replies. If my partners are to announce the news or contact the shareholders instead of me, they will use their own account."
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but to date, all correspondence (email + PM) regarding transferring shares etc. has come from his own account. Hence he has done it all himself according to his own statement. That's all I'm pointing out.
Keep flogging that dead horse, it might come alive if you keep beating hard enough.
This is a non-issue really.
Even if Friedcat has someone helping him with xfers (not THAT unlikely) we wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Even if he did not have help, you'd overestimate the amount of work this actually is, and underestimate the level of importance the work represents, if you are questioning the time spent.
