The auction did sell out in less than 24 hours so hmm
Very bullish very fast so much for my statement jutaruls wall will hold the line lol

That was crazy, I feat it is climbing too fast and one day in a flash it will be down 50% to recover again.

Hmm could be stable 2 or back down
About the Chinese Equity theory does that mean the exchange rate will rise rapidly soon ?
Watches at it starts going to the line

I don't think so, bitcoin itself is well known and has been covered by state media outlets for many weeks now. It's only ASICMINER that's getting new exposure and press.

Thanks that makes more sense I was wondering if the Chinese investors were going to start buying bitcoin by the bucket and the equity total would rise significantly as well.
(Lets just assume they bought physical coin versions with the keys attached for that alliteration  Wink)
Makes more sense if I view it as good advertising  Cool

The pattern is parabolic deja-vu since this is speculation

Can't believe how quick these prices have gone up after I bought in a few days ago.

Cheesy me too.
I bought shares not more than 2 weeks ago around 3 btc per share.
loved to see the weekly dividend but didn't care about share price and today i start reading this blog again and it has nearly doubled.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, so here we go again:
I predict the dividend to be close to 0.02329748, which would leave us with a ~30% yield given a share price of 4,85.

Having said this, I do not believe believe any dividend > 0.020 to be sustainable with upcoming competition in terms of hardware sales.
Thus, I think anything above 4.85btc/share means people either have a risk premium < 30% or are overvaluing the company.

EDIT: close to 0.25btc spread on btct  Shocked

I'm guessing next divs will likely be between 0.03 and 0.04BTC.
And if price continues to rise so fast, I'd be forced to start selling at 6BTC, because this is really getting sort of bubbly...

This increase in price is being driven by demand from "new money" finding out about AM, largely as a result of recent press conferences and news coverage in mainland China. Do not underestimate the buying power there.

We are destined for an end price that is by my historical btc-assets metrics overpriced. With what we know now, I would consider 5.75 a conservative "fair value", but even at 5.75, we are looking at a PE of only 7.37, which could still be considered very undervalued by traditional metrics for tech/semiconductor stocks. http://biz.yahoo.com/p/8conameu.html

IE: I am not planning on racing for the exits any time soon, as one can leave a lot of money on the table if you exit at the first sign of overvaluation. AM is *THE* btc stock to own, and that will drive up the price to levels many of us will feel uncomfortable with.

.04 dividend = 30% APR at 6.9 btc/share

Unsustainable at current network share. We'll see one month of glory but after...? It won't crash if they bring the hashrate up to 35%+ and/or continue major sales, but I suspect sales won't last longer than 3-4 weeks until the next batch. Something needs to change to sustain 7 BTC.

I think I'm gonna start a sale for 50 shares for 6 btc/share.

24 hours, flat price.

What do you guys think?

why would people pay 6 btc/share when they aren't even 5 yet on btct? Just saying ..... I know there is a small "dividend" for direct sales on auction but its not 1 btc/share.

Its tough when the price is rising constantly. I'd probably hold a 48-hour auction, start at 5, but I think 5 is around "fair value" now and I don't think the price can keep climbing much higher unless say dividends come out way better than expected.

and what if it doesn't go back down? I'm not saying it won't, lol, but that would *kind of* suck, and it's happened to me.

yeah, you are right, I should put the price at 7 btc...

That's not what I said but alright.

Man I hope we don't see 7 BTC cause short of a 0.05 dividend that is entering bubble burst territory.

+1. This is mostly being fueled by lack of a reasonable alternative for BTC investments. It seems like AM will continue to rise until they get a competitor, at which point the bubble will burst. They're probably fairly valued now, but at 7? 10? That's a long fall back to 4.5-5BTC/share.

What do you guys think?

I'd do 25 at 5.3 btc/share and another 25 at 6, that way if the price just goes up a little bit more and drops again, you can buy the same shares back and have left over profit Smiley
