I've got a domestic order for 1, but no tracking number, and its not marked as shipped on the spreadsheet.  Wondering if I could get an update?  Thanks.

I had similar issues with raspi + hub detecting ztex. Forcing USB to 1.1 solved the issue.
Thank you for the suggestion.  I had tried that, and various other tweaks, but nothing worked.  It looks as if the RasPi likes only a select few USB 3.0 hubs.  Quite disappointing, but it's hard to complain about a $40 computer.

Another thing to try ... cut/block the +5v connector...

I bought a belkin hub ... given that many belkin models are verified to work.... but this one didnt... i had to force 1.1 and it did. So i guess moral of the story is only buy hubs verified to be working...

Do you know of such a listing of verified working hubs with the Pi?
http://elinux.org/RPi_VerifiedPeripherals#Powered_USB_Hubs

I am now powering my pi with the hub it feeds

Hrum... don't see this guy listed as working... or not working... http://www.amazon.com/Anker%C2%AE-Uspeed-7-Port-Adapter-Chipset/dp/B006TT91TW

Guess I will hope for the best!

A screenshot I posted to the CGMiner thread, of a bunch of these baby's running in one of my systems.

Curious about the amount of HW errors, but if that's "normal"... then ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

4 hours later,  all domestics  are shipped. I actually watched the postal guy pick them up.

I got my tracking number, but since the USPS web site is not showing any information, can you share what shipping method these went out as (Priority Mail vs standard "First Class" mail, etc).  And did you ship them with a required signature, etc?  Just trying to guesstimate which day they might arrive and if I need to have someone stay home that day...

yes. but the mentioned 5 are above that. i have 28 total here. my 5, the 19 extra, and an additional 5. i'll treat them as warranty replacements, i'm just confused how they... well, exist.

I'll be truly impressed with this group if some a-hole does not come back with a bogus report of 5 missing units.  I hope to god that you end up being able to mine with them given the magnitude of the group-buy coordination effort.

yeah that was me that is missing the 5.  i only got 10 of the 10 that i ordered, so please send those other 5 to me asap  Cheesy

The Good News

Units Arrived and Unpacked

All Plugged In

Mining Away Alongside The Avalons

The Bad News

The 10-port Anker hub did not work with my Raspberry Pi (Arch Linux) :/  The RasPi recognizes the hub, but it reported errors in trying to recognize the USB Block Erupters.  Using a different hub, the RasPi recognizes the USB-BEs just fine.  So that's disappointing.  I have all 10 running off my Windows desktop for now, until I can figure out a solution.  I'd probably order and try a BeagleBone Black instead, but I hear it's still unstable.

Quick note: I had to give the sticks a good push to get them plugged all the way in.  It was easy to plug them in enough to receive power, but not enough to connect properly.  Had to give 'em a couple extra Newtons to plug all the way in and function.  Luckily the Anker hub has a blue LED that only lights up when they're connected correctly.

I had similar issues with raspi + hub detecting ztex. Forcing USB to 1.1 solved the issue.
need to add
Code:
dwc_otg.speed=1
to /boot/cmdline.txt  and reboot.

Edit: The above is for raspbian... Arch Linux ur on your own.

hmm... *grabs phone*

http://youtu.be/5E6nVQ5EJWU

the blue is light leaking from the LED's on the anker hubs, which i have taped over, as i sleep about 5 feet to the right of my desk.

How many are you mining with?  How hot does all that get?  What do you have them plugged into?  Looks like you will, from now on, have to stop complaining about how little BTC you have Tongue

In other news... have you sent out all the tracking info by now?  If so... I have yet to receive mine...  maybe those some of those "extra" USB's are mine.  Heck... just to be sure you should mail me the extra Tongue  but in all seriousness... google doc says shipped, but no tracking info from you yet.

Good night, miners

I wish I could record the beautiful light show that these put on at night, but I don't have a video camera capable of recording those light levels.
