AskGamblers.com is run by some marketing a**holes who are lining their pockets with affiliate money at the expense of the players!

It's the second time they have closed one of my complaints without even giving me a chance to make a statement on the casino's reply: https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/all-right-casino-account-closed-and-under-investigation-for-7-weeks

I've asked their customer support to reopen the complaint but they refused.

I've asked their customer support why they even ruled my complaint 'resolved' (in favor of the casino) but they refused to give me a reason.

But hey, it's good for their statistics, I guess. They can add another completely unresolved dispute to their resolved record and everybody - except the player - is happy!

that's not a very good feedback on their service. but i dont think the OP will address your issue here as he was last active last year. maybe, this will just serve as a warning how they approach player's issues towards complaint like this. so with regards to stats, we all know that most of them are not legit numbers.
can they really qualify as the number one independent casino dispute mediator as per claim on their site?

Those are the sites askgamblers wants to be the most popular because it would benefit them the most financially.  This is affiliate spam.

I agree they should be ranked according to the volume of players, feedbacks coming from the community, and traffic rank but these gambling casinos needs funding for their operation, they will either use a sponsored post affiliate links to gain more referrals or ads to sustain their operations, the gambling casino reviews are also a lucrative business venture.

As the other members said, many gambling sites that I don't know if that site is existing and online for a long time ago. I only see some gambling site from here, but not much. Maybe @OP can add more gambling site from here and if it is necessary, he can give a review about the site, people who visit on his site will know that in this forum, many gambling sites that can be recommended for them. But I need to use VPN to visit the site, so I think this could be the @OP concern, or there is a country on his block list.

I like the site's design, and he has a list of the gambling site which people can try to play.

I'd really like to know how do they measure popularity of casino websites since none of those websites that are named in their first page as "Their pick of the most popular casinos" have any topic or are any active in the forum, if they're truly legitimate and they have confidence in themselves and are accepting bitcoin and crypto as payment why wouldn't they just start a thread in this section and promote their website just like the others?, because there's no way they haven't heard of this forum if they have a gambling website and accept crypto as payment.

I highly doubt that any of these websites get any considerable traffic at all let alone being "Most Popular".

Like you, I think these sites do not seem to me the most popular, but based on that, I think that OP should take into account or at least mention what criteria they take into account to reach that conclusion? What I find most popular are sites that are mostly in current signature campaigns on the forum.

That's only most popular according to their review, and we have to understand that this is site where the owner can put a bias review according to their own opinion, personally, I also don't find it popular but I understand how review sites work.

I can see that the admin in this thread is not active at all so there is a big possibility that their platform is not operating anymore.

There are no recent updates also about their platform so joining to this platform is pretty risky if I were to judge and the response are  pretty old. It will be better if they can just lock this thread if they are no longer in their business.

Due to the fact that now the regulation of gambling is becoming more stringent, I think that crypto casinos are becoming more interesting for operators. Perhaps this will affect the popularity of the crypto space in general.

I think that's true. By the way it looks like the OP is inactive now does his website seems active but I haven't find some names that come from this forum does those casino needs to have KYC?

i guess every casino that has crypto merchant now has KYC also. Its more about game providers, regulation, licenses etc than like "crypto punk" and anonymity. But there are many no-name crypto casinos who based on some kind of table games. Its not much interesting yet imo

You'll see the list of casinos this website is promoting, and honestly, I never played even one of the casinos in the list.
For me, why bother to play in a casino that is not even popular in the forum.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Smiley

It's good to be here.

AskGamblers is a multiple award-winning online casino site and the biggest authority in iGaming.

We have a huge selection of unbiased, transparent online casino reviews, slot reviews and real players' opinions and ratings.

Above all, AskGamblers has a unique Casino Complaints Service, which helped 10451 players return $27,843,005!!!

I'm available should anyone require any additional proof that AskGamblers is a legit site.

I can confirm that AskGamblers is a legit site, as in they have been around for a very long time and were acquired by a huge company for $17 million a few years ago.  They do promote and side with some rather shady actions by some shady casinos though.

Could you provide some proof that you are actually an official rep from AskGamblers?  (A tweet or post on you site linking this thread would work)

A lot of trolls around these parts, you can never be too careful.

Its hard to follow the Crypto market as these are mostly non license operators and can pop up like mushrooms when the Crypto market is green and disappeared when the market is red. leading review websites in the market both in online gambling but mostly in Crypto online gambling are doing good work trying to analyse the market, provide data, list pros and cons and mark scammers - not always in great success.

The best will be to follow several sources - to get general view and to make your own decisions
  • Leading websites like AskGamblers.com / BestBitcoinCasino.com / BitcoinCasinoAffiliates.com / etc
  • Official Twitter and Btalk accounts
  • Telegram groups in the iGaming market, the best ones i know are in Russian:)

As for the preview comment, yes they get paid, either with flat fee, CPA or Rev Share - this is the business and if you want to take part of it, join any of the bitcoin casino affiliate sources and you will see.

I would like to let you know that a case where a casino confiscates all your winnings + parts of your deposit could be considered 'resolved' by AskGamblers without your agreement:

https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/whitelionbets-casino-confiscated-all-my-winnings-and-parts-of-my-deposit

I am a big fan of AskGamblers and just wonder what it was about this last comment that seemingly made them decide to leave Bitcointalk. Basically, the game-protect account needs more competition on this forum from more trustworthy entities.

AskGamblers Casino Complaints page for Bitstarz Casino shows that there are no unsolved complaints related to this casino.

https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/bitstarz-casino-failed-to-compensate-accordingly-after-proven-malfunctioning-game

The way they handled this complaint was pretty shady.  Did you ask them how many other players had played the game with the malfunctioning bonus round, and what they planned to do about it?

When a player decides to address AskGamblers due to specific issue or complaint related to a certain casino, AskGamblers reviews the complaint trying to determine the truth based on proofs coming from both sides.

Once AskGamblers collects the information needed, we put maximum efforts into helping players achieve their rights, providing their complaints are backed up by true facts.

AskGamblers never takes sides in any complaint process, which is why we have 80000+ online casino forum members.

In addition, AskGamblers Casino Complaints Service has so far helped 10672 players return $28,505,750 and the number keeps growing!

So no?

You didn't ask them about how many other players were affected by the glitch or what they were going to do about it?

AskGamblers Casino Complaints Service is transparent and well-explained on our website.

Our system for filing gambling complaints allows players to open an online casino complaint whenever they believe to have an issue with a casino.

Having that in mind, AskGamblers Casino Complaints Service only investigates complaints previously submitted by our members.

Additionaly, I would like to emphasize the positive feedback AskGamblers received after helping the player resolve his complaint.

"Big thanks to Ask Gamblers for helping get this resolved."

I believe there is so many review sites that still promotes them eventhough they have so many issues as we already know. But yet they still having huge rating for them. And I believe what they doing right now is really personal experience. Just by spending some little money to take part into their games, intention of losing. Then they claim their site is having really good environment to play. This is what most reviews site doing, they do not really get into the game like the one who spend money aiming for profit. Or may be this is just pay to promote the site as well, we never know what review site could do

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce AskGamblers brand-new feature, which will help players get even more valuable info about online casinos.

Namely, AskGamblers has released the project of Video Online Casino Reviews!!!

You can check how it all looks like at the example of Betsson Casino Review.

The video review will appear within the General Info & Latest Promos section once you click on the Read More button at the casino review page.

Additional info for those who didn't know, Betsson won the AskGamblers Awards title for the Best Casino 2018.

Oh op, isn't there special section for bitcoin casinos to find them more easily? Btw I made them manually available by getting this url: https://www.askgamblers.com/deposit-methods/bitcoin
As far as I see there are only bitcoin casinos which include slots, sportsbook, live casino and etc, seems dice websites aren't in your list. Also somehow didn't find stake.com website because that's like all in one casino service. What about to include casino service providers in your list and reviews? For example Evolution Gaming, Playtech and similar ones? I think it will be cool and interesting at the same time.

Yes, there is a page dedicated to bitcoin casinos.

When you visit AskGamblers Online Casino Reviews page, you'll find a number of filters on the right side of the page (desktop view).

Among them, there's a filter for Deposit Methods. When you click on the drop-down arrow within the Deposit Methods filter, you'll be able to choose Bitcoin as a deposit method.

Once you click on Bitcoin, you'll find yourself on the page Bitcoin Casinos - Deposit Methods.

As for your comment about game providers, I agree that it would be cool to have a list of game providers on the website, which is why we do have such a list.

That list can be found on AskGamblers Online Casino Software page.

Here you can browse casinos by software. For example, you can go to Evolution Gaming Casinos (Top List 2019).

Also, you can access any specific game provider's page such as NetEnt slots or Playtech slots.

Game providers specific pages contain games offered by that particular provider (e.g. NetEnt and Playtech shown above).

I entered the site, and I have some doubts, the concept of the site has not yet been very clear,
this was also my first impression at first   .  the site looks big and filled up , i was kinda lost . i dont know if its really a review site or not but after i scan up and down , things are going to be easier  . on the verry top you can see some categories like complaints  , reviews , etc .. and on the bottom there are those recent unresolvesd complaints for some gambling sites   . the rest are just promotions by gambling sites  .

while I have been browsing it takes some things to load, it is as if the site was so reloaded that it slows down.
this was the other thing that i noticed.  after clicking on thier link , i first redirected on a captcha page then it loads again slowly  . idk if the sites is getting alot of traffic or it has a problem on thier end  .

Not quite clear what service op is providing... Is gambling on the website possible or it only provides information on gambling for gamblers from other gambling websites?
I ask this question because you have the words "Get the truth. Then play!" on your post. This quite confusing. Where does the "play" happens? Or you mean “play" on reviewed gambling websites?

Thanks for your questions.

There are several ways to use AskGamblers website. Our main goal is to educate players by offering the largest gambling and online casinos knowledge base in the world of iGaming.

Another option we give to anyone seeking the thrill of playing games online is the actual opportunity to do exactly that.

If your goal is to enjoy online gambling, then you can visit AskGamblers and choose among several options.

For example, if you desire to play online slots, then you can drop by AskGamblers Slots Reviews Page and click on the graphics (upper part of an online slot card) of your favourite online slot.

Once you do that, you'll be able to read the review for the slot you've chosen and to pick one of the two options:

  • Play for Fun
  • Play for Real

Play for Fun means that you can test the slot without depositing any money (extremely recommendable if you wish to check out the slot's features) while Play for Real option is for those who wish to gamble for real money. When you click on the button Play for Real, you'll be redirected to an online casino where you can choose whether you wish to play that particular game or any other game the casino has to offer.

In addition, we have a huge selection of exciting casino bonuses which you can find on AskGamblers Bonus Reviews Page. Here you'll be able to have fun playing 3000+ online casino bonuses.

All you need to do to claim any of the bonuses is to hit the Get Bonus button and you'll be teleported directly to a casino offering that very bonus.

Finally, if you go to AskGamblers Online Casino Reviews Page, you'll see the selection of online casino cards which contain Play button. By clicking on Play button, you'll be redirected to the casino you clicked on.

As for the AskGamblers motto "Get the truth. Then play!", we're proud to be able to help players around the world have an extraordinary and safe iGaming experience.

Feel free to ask if you need any additional information.

Am mighty impressed with the quality of your site op. The site name itself is catchy and the design is top-notch. However, some of the casinos in the top rankings are names that I have never heard of while some are completely missing(Stake etc).

Most of the popular ones are basically FIAT only casinos which is why I feel it would be better to list a separate tab for crypto casinos only like some other ranking sites do. Apart from that, I found no other con. Good stuff guys.

Thanks for your comment.

When you head over to AskGamblers Online Casino Reviews Page, you'll find 1400+ online casinos presently listed on AskGamblers. One the right side of the page you'll see various filters which can help you browse through our selection of casinos according to your needs.

Filters you can use to find crypto casinos include Deposit methods, Withdrawal methods and Currencies. Once you click on the drop-down arrow you'll be able to choose your desired deposit/withdrawal method/crypto currency which will eventually show you casinos filtered according to your choice.

Welcome to the forums! I have a few questions about AskGamblers:
  • I've noticed that many of the most popular Bitcoin casinos aren't mentioned on AskGamblers (e.g. Stake, Primedice) at all. Is there any particular reason for this?
  • Tying in with the previous question: How does AskGamblers find potential casinos to add to their list and which criteria does it use to decide whether to add a casino or not?
  • Does AskGamblers give preferential treatment to casinos that have an affiliate program?
  • Are casinos able to pay in order to receive preferential treatment, e.g. a more prominent listing?

Thank you for the warm welcome and for showing your interest in AskGamblers.
Here are the answers to your questions:

  • Any legit, transparent, reliable and trustworthy online casino is eligible for entering AskGamblers official portfolio. Our primary mission is to offer valuable information to AskGamblers members and players worldwide. Given that the number of online casinos keeps growing, it takes time to check & add hundreds of old/new casinos to our extensive selection of casino operators.
  • As mentioned in the previous answer, the casino must be legit, transparent, reliable and trustworthy.
  • AskGamblers policy is to treat all online casinos equally.
  • Our goal is to provide relevant information to the huge army of AskGamblers fans. AskGamblers site sections such as online casinos, online slots, affiliate programs and gambling news serve as knowledge libraries to all who wish to learn where and how to gamble safely.

You can expect this thread to be trolled nearly every day by Game-Protect.  Normally it's best to simply ignore trolls, and they will eventually go away since they are only looking for attention.  Game-Protect is different.  He is a scammer that targets players have already been scammed by a casino (he also just claims he can return all losses over the past 5 years from some casinos).  He convinces them to pay 5% of the owed money up front, strings them along for a while, and then eventually just ignores them all together.

This thread is perfect for him to attract forum newbies to scam, especially since it's now much more difficult to scam newbies in his own thread since it has a red flag at the top warning users that he is a scammer.  So I have a suggestion:

Lock this thread and create a new one that includes "Local Rule: Game-Protect is not permitted to post in this thread" in the original post."

If he posts in the thread, someone will report it and it will be removed.  If he continues to post, he will be banned.

The rule can only be enforced if it's included in the original post though, so you have to make a new thread.  There's also a rule that you can't have more than one thread per business, so be sure to lock this one when you do.

Another option would be to create a self-moderated thread, but this will hurt your credibility.

If you don't do this, I promise you will wish you did.  Every page will have at least one stupid post by Game-Protect, and then someone will have to respond to warn forum newbies to not do business with him.
This is a very stupid advice by an extremely mentally ill bitcointalk account, because if you do not allow online gambling consumer protection service to ask for players very important questions, then you obviously have something to hide!

Despite of this, Game Protect already published an article about you where players can post its experience without censorship. Smiley

Askgamblers seems sketchy. I contacted them over an issue with Grand Eagle casino. I posted a few complaints which they would not allow. My complaint is currently unresolved.

One of my complaint was rejected and I was told:

Danny (AskGamblers Support)

Jan 15, 14:19 CET

“Dear xxxx

Unfortunately, rules are rules and you accepted/acknowledge them when you made an account or claim a bonus at the casino. Only who can challenge the casino terms is a regulatory body of the casino, we encourage to seek further help with them.
Sincerely,

Danny”

My complaint (besides following their rules) was also including the fact that they breach their own terms and conditions by stating they don’t allow US residents to register and deposit but in fact, they do.

And maybe a website issue and maybe not but through their message system, I did receive a message from “Genesys Affialites” stating they wanted more information so they can look into the issue further. When I viewed their profile on askgamblers it seemed to not be authentic so I contacted askgamblers support and they stated it was a genuine user from Genysys (representing Grand Eagle). However, today, I can log into AskGamblers but when I try to view the private message, it’s gone and I am blocked from the site.

Either way, seems this service is not very helpful but very protective of this particular casino.

Askgamblers = doesnt care about complaints with their donators, as bitstarz.com, i lost there a lot, btc an 40k eur, now on the low, and even i missclicked with minimum deposit (put 999 instead 1000, forget about comission) they said sorry you are owned. Also every time there are software error & reload, after this it stops play in + – total MINUS. Easy to lose from 100k doge to 0 playing with 400-500 bet, without any wins.

Even more, 1 time their hacked software owned me with FIRE LIGHTING bonus game, it was 375 RUB bet (quite high = 6$) and i got bonus game and bonus game one more (already had 4-5 WILDS) who knows as it is profitable bonus when you have re spins on 6-7 game already with 6-7 wilds…… So i caught and saw (screened for the sure) THREE NEEDABLE symbols, but support after my question what is going on showed @his version@ with wild instead of bonus symbol. SO i had one symbols, he had others. It was really weird and sadly, because it would give around 1k $ or so.

They are rude and dumby sometimes, the support one time CHANGED MY PASS ramdonly, lol ? It was 2fa on it and i didnt logget out ever and already missed that iphone, so to set 2fa( he said that cant delete 2fa)))) One time he blocked me in the chat because i asked about playing moments. IVAN and SASHA (SASHA always was a little dumb ) you are so uncommunicate last. FOr ME who are VIP and receives your useless cashback. You didnt even tried to decide my trouble with 999 -1000 deposit and leaved chat. SHIT TO YOU GUYS, I ALWAYS WILL WISH YOU BADS<

ASKGAMBLE is part of the problem. They charge 40% of their losses in casinos if they are taken by them. These cannot be legal, but they are. It is necessary to send complaints from everyone to everyone’s game controller, I the first one … think like

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.

Am mighty impressed with the quality of your site op. The site name itself is catchy and the design is top-notch. However, some of the casinos in the top rankings are names that I have never heard of while some are completely missing(Stake etc).

Most of the popular ones are basically FIAT only casinos which is why I feel it would be better to list a separate tab for crypto casinos only like some other ranking sites do. Apart from that, I found no other con. Good stuff guys.

Thanks for confirming that Askgamblers is a legit site.

Yes, I'm an official rep from AG and a member of the AskGamblers team.

I'm also one of the AskGamblers Forum moderators, known as Mediator.

Unfortunately, we don't give external links so this is the best I can do to assure you that what I'm writing is true.

Plus, you can check the updated info about Bob Casino review (deleting Bitcoin as a deposit method), which was immediately changed after the member NewCryptocasinos mentioned it in his quote.

In fact, I've updated the info myself.

Thanks for the advice. Wink

We will consider doing so.

So far, AskGamblers Casino Complaints Service helped 10466 players return $27,918,862.

Sure, when I have a legal issue with an online casino that tries to scam me I will ask gamblers! Grin

Your casino complaint at Askgamblers did not lead to success? Please report to Game Protect and we will try to enforce it through legal action.

Askgamblers offers a complaint service where casinos can explain why they do not process account balances. Players can of course try such a complaint service that can lead to get account balances processed.

But it is very important to inform the gambling community that if the ask gamblers complaints service did not lead to success, you still have the option to enforce your account balance through legal action.

Advantages

Cost free complaint service that can lead to get disputes solved and account balances processed.

Disadvantages

- Accused casinos ignore to answer or make nonsense statements to cover up their unfair treatment.

- The personnel do not have the qualification to legally assess claims and make wrong assessments.

Askgamblers ignoring the reality?

Our impression is that they do not want to inform victims that they still can enforce claims through legal action after their complaints service failed!

Game Protect sent the following email and did not receive a response!

Reference: How can I contact claimants if your complaint service was not successful?

Hello,

I was getting aware about some huge amount owed complaints:

If your complaint service will not lead to success, the claimants have the option to enforce their account balance through legal action. Game Protect is expert for Curacao based claims.

How can I inform the claimants that they have the option to enforce their account balances through legal action after your complaint service did not lead to success?

Thanks for the first line of your quote.

So far, AskGamblers Casino Complaints Service helped 10466 players return $27,918,862.

And this number keeps growing.

AskGamblers Customer Support Center can be contacted in several ways:

1. Via Live Chat
2. Via Twitter Support
3. By Creating a Ticket
4. Via Email Support
5. By Submitting a Complaint

Now, let's take a look at some metrics from Ahrefs.com just to compare AskGamblers.com and GameProtect (in terms of authority and scam allegations).

AskGamblers

1. Founded in - 2006
2. DR - 74
3. Backlinks - 324,616
4. Referring domains - 2,677
5. Monthly organic traffic - 305,404

GameProtect

1. Founded in - 2016
2. DR - 6
3. Backlinks - 8,974
4. Referring domains - 71
5. Monthly organic traffic - 267

Most members on this forum (if not all) who know a bit about website metrics (SEO and backlinking related primarily) will easily make their own conclusion whether AskGamblers is legit or not, and if GameProtect (or anyone else) is trying to build an authority by attacking legit sites such as AskGamblers.

As for the false information provided on GameProtect page about AskGamblers about "AskGamblers allegedly ignoring the reality", here's our comment on the two provided links:

1. Cloudbet Casino - Delayed 330 BTC Payment - Status Resolved

This complaint ended with a thank you note from the player to AskGamblers.

The full note is (sent on February 19, 2019, can be seen at the end of that particular casino complaint page):

Thank you AskGamblers!!! They paid me my whole 330 BTC!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! CASE IS RESOLVED!!

2. Cloudbet Casino - Problem withdrawing 38 BTC - Status Resolved

This complaint also ended with a thank you note (sent on February 7, 2019) from the player (here's an excerpt):

i want to start to thank and how i really really appreciate www.askgamblers.com to be my lifesaver in this case. Till today i had no idea about these kind of forums that is really helping to people. But i understood the importance of these forums and please contact me if www.askgamblers.com have a page for donation or any angle to support you guys to keep solving the problems like i had with cloudbet.com

Judging by these examples, we've decided to let all the forum members decide on their own if AskGamblers is legit and which site actually isn't.

Therefore, we feel there's no need to reply to any further false quotes, statements and accusations coming from members whose sole intention is to provide false information.

However, we will forever be available to all fellow members who wish to find out the truth about online casinos.

Get the truth. Then play!

Welcome! I actually believe I came across your website multiple times when I was trying to find information about the reputation of certain casinos. Right now your website seems offline, though. At least, it's not loading on my PC even though everything else is. I also wanted to ask you what kind of factors you evaluate when making the rates of casinos. I can see on a Google preview, for instance, that Bitstarz has 9.3/10 on your website, even though just today I came across a scam accusation, there've been multiple accusations over the years and their official account has red trust on this forum. It's not good when the information gets people confused. I am just curious how that kind of stuff happens.

Thank you.

Please take a look at the answer we gave to quote #10 left by pakhitheboss on the same question of casino rates.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to comment why a certain casino has a different rating on one affiliate website compared to another affiliate website or forum, to be precise.

Our primary mission is to add value and bring clarification into the industry of iGaming.

If you need additional info, you can also contact AskGamblers Support Center.

Don't think you present the best bitcoin casinos, I think it's the opposite, you just promoting scam casinos and removing all negative feedback against that bitstarz shithole casino because they pay you monthly.

Don't trust this site at all costs, all these reviews are FAKE.

I think you could be a bit more diplomatic, but I agree with your general point. Sites like AskGamblers are pretty parasitic, and happily push super dodgy sites like bitstarz (whose M.O. seems to be try find any reason to not pay out large winners) as long as they have a sweet ref program.

It's not perfect, but I've found https://cryptogambling.org to have the best curated list of (crypto-accepting) casinos.

If you go to AskGamblers news section about big wins/jackpots, you will find the latest news about fantastic casino jackpot wins.

This big win news, for example, is about $2.4 million won by a lucky Bitstarz member playing their Azrabah Wishes Slot.

We respect your personal opinion about which site presents the best bitcoin casinos.

As for the part about promoting scam casinos and removing negative feedback, that statement is not true.

In fact, it's completely opposite.

Anyone who visits Bitstarz casino review page on AskGamblers, can see that our site members are allowed to leave a positive (thumb up) and negative (thumb down) opinion within each casino review.

And this is exactly what most members decide to do.

Furthermore, by going through reviews on Bitstarz casino review page on AskGamblers one can easily notice that players leave both positive and negative feedback.

The same goes for leaving game reviews.

I consider that cryptogambling.org site to be much better compared to those older or trashy review sites out there.
Most likely they aren't even updated and just carelessly list out sites that even do have issues.
This reason can really mislead lots of newbie gamblers into this market.
