before we start asking stores if they accept bitcoin, we have to be ready to teach and enlighten them on what cryptocurrencies are. bear in mind  alot of people do not have an idea of this digital currencies, some must have heard of bitcoin but do not know how it works. but in all if we can be doing that we will definitely create awareness and cause more people to adopt crytptocurrencies.

No need to ask if a store is accepting bitcoin as payment. That establishment would probably have a big neon sign that says it accepts bitcoin. Or it would be all over mainstream and social media.

How many times have you came in a store and asked whether or not they accept bitcoin when you wanted to pay?

Should we do that EACH time we visit ANY store?
Would we create a huge advertisement for BTC that way?

Would stores start accepting it when they encounter a couple of people on a weekly basis asking them if they accept bitcoin?

Should we start doing this? o.o
Should we create a community so hard core that asks for everything they pay if it could be handled in BTC?
i think when store accept bitcoin, they will put it on their announcement or we can see sign near cashier. But it will not happen in my country because my government ban bitcoin for payment

Its not bad to ask stores if they are accepting bitcoin, everything will go with the flow with bitcoin, it will surely come to its own way but it will take a long time. I heard and read about stores that accepts bitcoin as a payment and I am hopeful that sooner or later everyone will be ask by the store cashier to pay with a crypto or fiat. Lets just be optimistic and promote crypto currencies especially bitcoin for our own convenience in the future.

If we do this and it succeeds on a large scale, it is harmful to the Bitcoin network, thousands of transactions will take place in the second and therefore higher fees.
Higher fees ----> Panic in the markets ----> Little returns from using bitcoin "I can’t pay 3$ fee to buy a coffee" -----> Price Crash.
My answer is no; Bitcoin is now more suitable for international transactions and not for daily use.
If technical changes occur, the situation will change
Volatility is the most important factor for Bitcoin to raise its name, especially for speculators who only come to gamble, they also increase the price again and again when the bullish trend. The idea of the economic revolution and the future tool of exchange is not interesting and important for them because it doesn’t bring profit, so why should you bother to take care of it.

Everything will come its way. Asking stores about bitcoins will not speed up the process of taking bitcoins. It does not depend on you, it is a global issue, and it will be decided at the level of governments and states.

if the store is an online store, maybe I'll ask it, but if it's a physical store, I'm afraid to ask it
I still doubt, about the size of people who use bitcoin as a means of payment
Therefore, you should be smarter to guess out which physical store is receiving Bitcoin as a payment tool, like a big electronics store that should have understood or at least heard about Bitcoin after all if they didn’t understand they would find out about Bitcoin eventually.

my country bans crypto, but government decisions are not firm, so we can still use bitcoin for crypto trade. but, the problem is not that, how the store will accept crypto, while the government bans it, and even many people still do not know about bitcoin.

I think if you are shopping online, you can think about it. If not, that's waste your time because even bitcoin is popular now, it still not considered as an official currency.

Stores may accept Bitcoin payments, but the condition is that the government does not prohibit Bitcoin in that country. In addition, these stores need to have Bitcoin trading equipment and Bitcoin knowledge when trading with Bitcoin is still quite new.

I do not consider it an obstacle to the purchase of goods - the lack of shops with prices in Bitcoin.

Who needs to buy something and has Bitcoin, he simply converts them into the currency he needs and then buys.

This is just a small inconvenience. Embarrassed

I never mean to pay by BTC at any stores, as the fee is high, and the process may not be simple I think.
It's better to just use BTC for investment, trading and holding.

And we can advertise BTC in another efficient ways !

I have never done it (ask if they accept bitcoin in a store). If vendors are not familiar with BTC or another cryptocurrency, they may become intrigued about the payment method people are asking about, and they might look into it. However, I think they will become discouraged when they learn about the speed, transaction fees and volatility of the currency, and might not be that willing to implement the system.

I think this some interesting idea, If we ask BTC payment they will think that Bitcoin payment and also this is some kind of marketing idea  Wink

it depends upon the store owner if he/she knew about btc.if you think its the right time to sell your btc for the goods much better especially in low price.the store owner will be benefited.

No need to work hard because Bitcoin is created not for compulsion.
Let everyone or shop open for Bitcoin naturally.

Maybe in the future little by little will receive payment for Bitcoin.

a store may receive a bitcoin payment after getting government approval, if it's only from a group of people I do not think that's possible
