With regards to stacking said creatures: since each creature will be unique as a token, stacking them would make it hard to see exactly which one is which. We are looking at ways of preventing future cluttering though.

This leads me to the next point, which is our dev plans for the near future! We are rolling out a new build this coming week to push through some bug fixes and improvements. Once this is complete, we will be working on UI/UX and gameplay improvements (which includes looking at game flow and shields).

Hey guys,

We released our latest build today, which includes the brand new tutorial and a few bug fixes! Every player, new or existing, will be guided through the tutorial and receive all 5 starter creatures at the end! You are also given the choice between Augmentors and Shadowmentors again, so choose wisely Smiley

A new creature, Pango, is also released in this build!

The new Tutorial is a nice improvement, but still needs to get the basics right.  Main problems.

1. Players are still able to press buttons anytime in tutorial, which in turn, makes them miss the educational text boxes.
- Solution. Make pre set battles, so players have to click the buttons, specified.  This way all the text is read and not missed.

Allow players to easily go back to tutorial also.

2. Make sure text boxes dont get in the way of the battle, often i could not see what i had done.

RELICS.   At the end of the tutorial it said something along the lines of "you are ready to play".  (Nope... No way was i "ready")

BATTLE. So, from the tutorial, i know what spells are meant to do.  But then i see 2 RELICS.  ....



IDEAS:

1 Place relics in the DECK SECTION would be more suitable.
2 Please consider  players to press/hold relic button to get "pop up" explanation of the relic.  i eventually found the relic info, in the equipment section.  
3 Allow REPLY of tutorial also
4. Leagues, dont make any sense at all.  No.1 Should be top. Put league is normal order, confusing like it is now. It says im in 2/6. position 1.  So am i in the 2nd best league? after playing about 3 games in the last 30 days?
5 Leaderboard option (long time BUG) when i click "ME" i do not see me, i have to scroll up a bit first. Should automatically show me "me".


LASTLY> Shields or more appropriate term Force Fields..... (as i have mentioned before)  Simply put, tell me a famous game that uses Force fields  in this way, because here is a list of the best selling beat em up games of all time.

Street fighter  
Tekken
Marvel vs Capcom
Super Smash Bros
Virtua fighter
Soul calibur
Dead or Alive
Mortal Kombat
UFC
Dragon Ball

To name a few... NONE of these games have these  FORCE FIELDS, they are not shields... they are FORCE FIELDS! and they absolutely, hinder gameplay.  

Allow players to "Block" by all means, but not stand there with force fields around them for (what feels like) half a hour.  Yes, you can use relics, if you ever figure out what they are and what they do, correct me if i am wrong, but i see zero info about them anywhere.

PS: duplicate creatures in "Creature Tab" gets really "busy" when you have more than one. Have a simply counter there to show how many of the same creature you have, or let players simply remove them.  Battery drain is still a issues also. (running a phone with no other game apps and hardly any apps at all, pretty much bare boneS)

Ranked at the top 600 on CMC is a good beginning for Augmentors Game, in my opinion.

These days there is few developed of the coin according to the coinmarketcap. Now on coinmarketcap rank of Databits (DTB) is 660 where last time it was 1149.

From playing the game, it has good potential, but for me, the shields are annoying and spoil the game, one guy was just throwing up shields all of the time making me want to quit the game.
There are some easy ways to counter those guys:

  • Invest heavily in piercing spells and use them frequently
  • Make well-timed use of the shield breaker spell

The best players time their shield spells well instead of spamming them.

Do you guys have a Team Member, something like that in Canada? IF so maybe you could make it happen and have them appear of these guys show. Would be great to see a exclusive Augmentors episode from a team member whos been involved in the game from the early stages, or even better from the start.

Always great to see people take the extra step and create programs.   Would have been great if you could of talked about Augmentors more and other games, what you like about the game, what you dont like, what you would like to see and what improvements you would make.  I am sure you guys have great ideas, would love to see a stand alone episode (with sorted microphones/sounds) going over the details of the games.

Glad you liked it. Unfortunately, someone took our microphone right before the Meetup and I had to go run and buy a $10 one. We're still trying to improve our set-up; our non-Meetup broadcasts generally have better sound, as we're all at home.

Sorry for talking shit about Apple, but I was an early BCY hodler who remember their original plan to use cryptocurrency in Spells of Genesis. We have nothing against you game developers, and we understand your need to maintain cordial relationships with the powers that be. We will try not to jeopardize that as we channel community frustrations.

When it comes to dedicated Meetups focused on one particular game, we have so far reserved that for instances where someone from the team can come visit Vancouver in-person. We are always open to ideas, though, and are planning a couple of conferences. Feel free to PM me if you are interested in doing something, or else maybe I'll send you guys a reminder when our conference plans are finalized.

yes indeed this is really not with the price problem which is so drastically decreasing it will create panic for people who save DATABITS (DBT) if in your opinion why does the in coinmarketcap rank drop dramatically?
Rank of coinmarketcap depends of total volume per day I mean every 24 hours. As its volume decreasing or its competitors volume increasing , its rank going down. Right now it's rank is 1188 so again dropped and I think it will drop more.

Just to clear up any confusion;

A coin's marketcap and its rank in the list on CMC is decided by 2 factors:
  • Its current price
  • Its circulating supply
The marketcap and subsequent rank is simply calculated by multiplying the price per coin x its circulating supply.
Since the DTB supply is fixed at ~23 Million, only fluctuations in price will have an effect on the CMC ranking. However as DTB orderbooks are thin, the price is prone to fluctuations, and therefore also prone to big moves in marketcap and rank as demonstrated by the recent rank jumps in both directions.

Just as an update on the spell clamping from the devs:

So what was implemented is that the spells get clamped to your Creature level.

This was implemented a while ago, and spell level/creature level was quite closely correlated. Recently though, more ways of getting portals have been added, so the spells are overtaking the creatures and getting clamped even at max creature level.
It's something we hadn't given much thought, so thanks for bringing it to our attention! We'll work on a different system of making sure people dont get discouraged by stronger veterans of the game, while keeping it fair for everyone.

Yeah, gotta make sure player progress doesn't feel inhibited. I'm effectively at the level cap... that's where I stop playing in most games Tongue

I think the Spirit Wave spell is glitched. At level 6 it says it does 75 damage, but it's only doing 70.

Update: just confirmed the same is also true for Frost Wave. I think maybe all the spells are bugged at level 6.

I think this'll probably be because we have some 'clamping' implemented. It scales down spells slightly based on your max level creature vs the creature you are currently using, to prevent low level creatures smashing through all opposition. If you weren't on a lower level creature, let me know and I'll flag it up with the devs!
