Looks like the last code that was checked in for this project was wallet update --- September 2018. 13 months ago. I don't see any material code check-ins since then.

I have been trading other coins on NLExch since ~2 yrs, I never had any problems with deposits or withdrawals and the support was always very responsive.
But we all know that can change quickly (Cryptsy, Cryptopia etc.).

Please update us soon but also dont feel like you are the coins only hope. Auroracoin is in vietnam now. Even in the most remote villages on the chinese border. This is a little too harsh :-) But I agree with your point - if I was a developer with a clear vision for Auroracoin & skills to support the vision I would buy a few thousand AUR at current (~ zero) price and build the hell out of it... There is literally nothing to lose.
