Amazing news, but Australia doesn't have that weight like Europe or USA, and it is kinda bad because our lifes won't change. If those countries would start use crypto in daily life, then the whole world would replace fiat to cryptocurrencies.

Still good news, maybe one day i will visit Australia Smiley

Do you think the acceptance of Bitcoin as a payment method would lead to centralizing it, and perhaps followed by the centralization of the crypto sphere as a whole?

This is very good, this shows how advanced the development of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in the real needs of society, little by little some countries begin to accept it as they should because they are prepared with all the risks and responsibilities to better secure cryptocurrency from criminal or fraud like some cases yesterday, officials the police have arrested large crypto fraudsters, of course with this kind of recognition the public is increasingly convinced of a good future.

But we need more such service provider to make the world of cryptos more accessible to the common mass.
We also need more services that assist in paying for everyday goods and services bought offline easier and instantaneous, not just for paying bills, the slow transaction speed of crypto is what discourages them to use it in offline transactions after all. If services such as these multiplies in many nations, Bitcoin and crypto adoption rate will increase exponentially because it will have more real-world use cases.

Yes, I think they have thought about it, and from now on it may have prepared the needs of the community and corrected the problem now.

I am alive but in hibernation.
Good to know about the payment system that help you pay everything by using Bitcoin. But real challenge is to get the eco system in which you earn, spend  and save in bitcoin. Looking forward to the days when companies will start paying the people in bitcoins and we will pay in BTC without doing any fiat conversion and eliminating fiat.

Buy, sell and store real cryptocurrencies
This is a good news and it is really cool for the Australian to be able to pay their bills with crypto. I hope this will happen in my country but I doubt it will be soon.

Nothing lasts forever
This is a great news for Australians as they can now be able to pay their bills using crypto. I wish some companies in my country would do partnership with some company like Cointree did with Gobbil . If many other countries start doing this then it might be a huge step for cryptocurrency to go mainstream.
Cryptocurrencies are slowly growing and I believe it might not be too late until every country eventually starts accepting cryptocurrency as a legal currency.

Now this is what I'm talking about. With such great and superb news coming on board, usability of Bitcoin expands more and sooner than later, Bitcoin will be the main deal in our global world. I just can't wait for Bitcoin to go mainstream.

I just talked to my friend at Australia a while ago and tell this news and they are not aware of Cointree and no such thing as crypto options yet to their payment gateway in paying bills. As far as the article is concerned, Gobbill will be the gateway. Maybe payment gateways are now updating their options to include crypto payments.
Yeah, I saw a cointree's tweet that for now people can pay the bills via their website (just like before) and that the new payment platform is not there yet. As I can see, cointree allowed to pay the bills in Australia before, but Gobbill is a software which allows to automatize payments. As seen from the demo on cointree, you have to insert the data each time for each bill, I guess, while Gobbill can make the payments regular and processed by AI. It's hard to find info on how many people used which services, but I guess this partnership will broaden the audience anyway, so it must be a good thing.

Australians Can Now Pay Bills Using Bitcoin With Cointree And Gobbill Partnership

Residents of Australia can now pay their everyday bills using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies regardless of whether the business takes on digital assets, according to the Financial Review. This option was made possible through the partnership of the Gobbill billing platform and the Australian Cointree exchange.

1 year back bitcoin bills has been passed in the Australian government assembly mate. After that there was any positive news from the Government side but now you will be able to pay the bills means it is really great mate.

I believe bullish run we can find in the market for sure.
So soon bitcoin value will be go with the peak value in the market.

Bitcoin isn't a bubble. It's the pin!
This is great news! This is what we need to drive adoption. Paying your bills with crypto is a great giant step in the right direction. Bitcoin's price has been relatively stable recently, so these last month or two have been great for using it as a currency. Now we just need the ability to pay for rent/mortgage with crypto. Adoption is spreading! I just hope to see something like this be implemented in other countries as well.

Crypto world is nowadays experiencing such kind of developments and these are really going to help change how this market works. Large acceptance will bring good returns to the market. Crypto is not the perfect replacement for fiat but it is in no way less than fiat and has almost all its characteristics and is even more advanced n safer means of payment. So the point here is crypto if used instead of fiat in all the countries, they will not encounter much problems.

PS: Hoping for more crypto friendly nations to come up!

this is good news, Australia is a good place for bitcoin, if we see that the growth of bitcoin is very slow if we compared with countries like South Korea and Japan.

I see that the Australian government wants to eliminate competition between banks and decentralized systems.

besides that, the Australian government will also protect businesses that use bitcoin and will maintain crypto exchange.

That was a great news. Surely it will bring positive effect not just in Australia but on the whole crypto world. Other countries will surely be aware and reconsider taking cryptos on a higher level.

Again another these good news that will proved that bitcoin is not always about buy, sell, hold scheme.

Well australia has been one of the countries that are openly considering crypto and it's potential and this is one step forward to making their people aware of it through daily use. Hopefully they other countries will follow suit.
