I believe you may be incorrect.  Not all Batch #2 show up like this.

I have seen the following:

Quote

4   Arrived at Sort Facility HONG KONG - HONG KONG    HONG KONG - HONG KONG   23:06

3   Departed Facility in HONG KONG - HONG KONG    HONG KONG - HONG KONG   22:25

2   Processed at HONG KONG - HONG KONG    HONG KONG - HONG KONG   22:15

1   Shipment picked up    HONG KONG - HONG KONG   21:01

Yes this is the worst case scenario where BEIJING FEIXIANG CO LTD (as the forwarder) brings the package first to HK before it gets scanned

Was that a Bach #2 wave 1 package?

Mine at least (last week delivery) got scanned in Beijing

All the evidence i have seen from Batch 2 says that the boxes will be scanned into the DHL system in Beijing.

The first scan will appear this time as:

Arrived at Sort Facility BEIJING & SURROUNDING AREA - CHINA, PEOPLES REPUBLIC    BEIJING & SURROUNDING AREA - CHINA, PEOPLES REPUBLIC

1   Shipment picked up    BEIJING & SURROUNDING AREA - CHINA, PEOPLES REPUBLIC

SolarSilver, i think you are confused about things.

Batch 1 was sent from Shenzhen China to Hong Kong in white vans, this is normal for Shenzhen vendors as you can walk from Shenzhen to Hong Kong and there is some saving to be had from transporting things from Shenzhen to Hong Kong.

Beijing is 2,000 kilometers from Hong Kong (1200 miles).

I am aware of the distances, I import goods from all over Asia on a montly basis

In both Batch #1 and Batch #2 the packages originate from Beijing and both are handled by the same
company, just a little bit differently to improve tracking

While you are probably correct that the boxes are in the hands of a third party shipping company, the idea that anyone would drive 2,000 kilometers across China to get to Hong Kong is unlikely.

Your packages don't travel from Beijing to the destination direct, they will go through HK. How does it get from Beijing to HK? I pray cargo plane, but I've seen worse ;-)

Anybody can have a pile of waybills from DHL or any other transport company on their desks. They can package your shipment and provide you with the tracking number BEFORE it is ever taken to a DHL depot, or a third party who will take it to a DHL depot. So there is no reason for anyone to be surprised that the tracking does not show yet, it will not until it is scanned the first time by DHL.

it's all digitally generated labels these days... They did not do it for Batch #1, they did for Batch #2

My tracking number is a DHL tracking number.
It does not show in the DHL computer tracking system yet.
This is not anything to worry about, if it does not show on Monday then i might be concerned.

Yes it's normal, the forwarder (transport company that takes your package from Beijing to HK) needs a day or two get the packages delivered to the DHL hub in HK. Once it's scanned there, it will show up in the DHL tracking system

Right now, your package is in the hands of a psychopath in a white van, so don't worry about it :-)

Several orders between 22xx and 28xx have been confirmed and 1 DHL waybill was given for all of them.

These were Feb 18 orders.

I got all walletbit confirmations and everything was perfect in the store from day 1 (thank the gods of computing).

Your track is based in the dhl tracking system?

Indeed... that is a head scratcher.

I guess the most logical explanation is that they have plenty of business on their plate at the moment, and simply they aren't trying to add to their backlog (though they easily could on chip sales).

Still... it does seem odd that they have turned off all sales, when chips are pretty low effort.

I assume the chip sales stopped because they are having some difficulties getting the site ready for trade-ins.

I don't see how these 2 events would even be related, you can upgrade parts of the site without effecting all of it.

But mostly as a comment to the OP: how come they are here to scam us out of our money if even their ordering site is down? :-)

batch #2 customers just are not important. The units will be shipped eventually, but there selling chips now. I am a batch #2 customer that has been waiting as well.

I guess that is why for a week now the chips are listed as "out of stock"?

Can i ask for assistance from any Batch 2 customer who already had delivery with DHL.

Can you tell me exactly what it was declared as, word for word, from the DHL paperwork.
