They'd be able to charge much more. Both bitfury and KNC are future preorders with no proof. He is saying they'd be in stock like erupter blades when sold, if sold, if made, if created.
Fairly certain of two things:
1. batch 4 will be based off bran new chip design. Be it a BFL or Bitfury derivative or license or in-house developed
2. After the batch delays from Avalon their 'name' is worth a lot less then you would expect. They have to match or beat market price per Gh/s and W/gh to be successful.
um...yufi stated there probably wont be a batch 4... the new chip design will probably just be released in raw chips...not actual built units.
And that would destroy bfl-chip sells totally. Because avalon could deliver the chips very fast while bfl-customers would have to wait 14.28 weeks for the chips to arrive.
A real market advantage for customers and avalon.
