@BitSyncom... can you please say a word about support? Do you do the support on your own only or are there employees for it? I only wondered because it looks like the support slowed down again. I hope at least that my tickets get solved in the next days...

no delay.

No batch 4 ? Because dude, I would love to throw some money at you.

IF
we do make/sell batch #4, we will get it ready to ship before taking orders, as said at the conference.
Whats your output currently looking like?

Can you also tell us how high Mhz cap is set to in future Avalon Chips? You mentioned it previously but have not said anything as of late.

Also, do you plan to compete with Avalon Clones?

What are your thoughts on the remaining future profitability for the Avalon mining hardware?

I would love to see someone actually have STOCK of ASICs on hand before taking payment, that is what usually happens in the real world, release the krakken

Clearly you're not from the real world, because in it ASIC development has significant non-reoccurring engineering costs of hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars dependant on tech. Kinda gets in the way of hoarding stock dude.

Pre-orders have been a necessity, but are open to abusing the naive...

So nearly building a foundry for creating a couple miners? Im sure the machines have a high price and i really wonder if it wouldnt be way cheaper to find contractors that do the work instead doing all alone.
But maybe avalon has other plans. Strangely they claimed that they dont want to create miners anymore. Doesnt make sense when they pay for a foundry then.

Maybe they'll continue to make them, but keep them to compete with ASICminer?

Would be a plan... i think Yifu did see that AM's Business plan has its advantages.

@BitSyncom, when can we order Avalon modules to upgrade our miners?

soon as batch #2 finish shipping, modules should go out about the same time as batch #3,

also trade-in emails are being sent also, just getting the shop ready to handle it.

batch#3 will go just after #2 finish? Or it will be delay ?

no delay.

And chips will start shipping only after batch #3 is done? Thx.

But having your own foundry isnt much less problem. You need to have qualified workers. They need to get paid even when you dont have work for them. Otherwise you will lose them. So having a own foundry doesnt have so much advantages against using a contractor i believe.

Regarding the newsletter. Does Yifu state that the work on tickets is stopping or that the tickets will be solved soon? I still have 2 open and need it solved because and is about chip orders.

Yes but contractors have lead times that can cause huge delays. When 4 to 6 weeks becomes 8 to 12 weeks, customers are not happy...

Better keep production under your own control...

They can either keep using the machines in the future or sell them on for other projects.

Surely at this point money is not a problem, time is!

Agreed, Surface Mount Tech indicates to me they have plans for a batch #4, #5, #6.  In any case, I wish to support Avalon.

Guys come on. Yifu is busy enough as it is yet you waste his time asking him questions that have been answered elsewhere a 100x? Let the man breathe and do your homework...

Yes a good solid number would not be out of question considering recent developments.
