actually running till July 29th[/url], so you didn't miss the ICO and you can still join it[1].
Actually he did missed it. Maybe that's why he mentioned it. Avax main ICO was last July 15th, 2020 but the site experienced a bot attack resulting to its postponed and move to a later date of July 22-29,2020. However the token sale ended in 4.5 hours ( got lucky I got some) here is the summarize of the concluded Public sales

However, you made me confused by mentioning that you won't buy the IOU token for 6$
He meant probably was the token traded is not the real so he wont mind buying it. The team confirms its fake and just an IOU.

Too soon for comparison, with Ada but probably many will still bet for it, against AVAX, no wonder but I found potential with their tech, so I joined their tokensale.

Too early to tell and compare these 2 projects. ADA has come a long way already.
So AVAX has a lot of things to catch up before we can say that AVAX is a tough competitor of ADA.
And considering that ADA is in the upward motion for almost couple of months now and seems there's no stopping at the moment.
But then again, competition in the market is good for the users. Devs will do their best to cater their clients.

Although I've heard recently about the AVAX project that seems a little bit interesting to me (I missed the ICO). Has anyone compared the 2? I basically find it interesting but I am definitely not buying the IOU at 6 dollars right now.
By searching for AVAX project, the only one i found is still under developement according to coinmarketcap.
Then by checkin the two websites mentioned in the cmc page for AVAX, the first one describe the project which seems to be promising but as it still in primary developement phase, we can't yet compare it to Cardano. The second website provides info about the tokensale which is actually running till July 29th, so you didn't miss the ICO and you can still join it[1].
However, you made me confused by mentioning that you won't buy the IOU token for 6$; the IOU token i found in cmc has nothing related to AVAX project and the price is at 0,010713 USD with Zero volume trade. Please explain.

[1] This is not an advice to join the AVAX tokensale. I am just sharing the result of my researches for op. DYOR before joining or join at your own risk.

Hello everybody,
I am an ADA fan and will be holding it for a long time. I don't think, in my opinion, other smart contract cryptos will be able to compete with it, but it's only my opinion.
