I been dey see different post on this forum that is very risky to save our passwords or anything wey dey very important to us for Google but this new strategy they difference and very surprising to me, imagine how can someone hack our phone by using only cable? Scammers don go far seriously, dey just dey come with a different format to scam people, we are not even safe to borrow someone charger to charge our phone again. That's serious, it actually beat my imagination to see how things are being designed to easily invade some someone without the person noticing, actually with how technology is going I think there are things that should be monitored after producing especially this cable you are actually talking, perhaps that's why in the banks they don't allow there customers to plug anything or even charge there phone because they must have been aware of such tricky way to hack a server, however the problem is that if you have not seen the cable ones you would hardly no when you come across one, so the best way is to purchase anything charger from supermarket you bought the phone because this matter done pass be careful.

Well, even if , I think every one should try to use offline wallets that have restricted internet access and it is also essential to avoid using device managers which help us save the information of our logins.
If one must share USB in a haste, please read the pop up options which appear carefully before granting access to the USB cable and if it is possible, it is good to avoid sharing USB cables and chargers when you could easily be cautious about the one you own and use.

Omo.. thank you so much for sharing this update oh, because na only Baba God fit know the level at which some people dey go these days, just for the purpose to lure people of their hard earn money, which is very very bad, and according to this borrowing cord case for charging of phones, I'm very much happy say I literally hardly beg for cords, due to the fact that I'm always with mind everytime and anywhere, both including an extra in case of emergency. And as such, I go advice people to always strive to get an extra cord at all times, in other to avoid the urge for borrowing. I swear down I no believe this one and at such I call for the ops to lock this threads because their is nothing are learning from this thread and I must say that this statement is based on fallacy and shouldn't be take seriously, the taken time it was through WiFi that data's are transferred, that one is understandable, but getting hacked through charging cable is out of mind to must of us here.

With the advancement in technology now, i don't doubt this information because someone told me similar thing in the past but i was wondering how hackers can just use ordinary USB cord to bypass phone security and protection such as passwords, and other means of verification before you can access your device. Perhaps, before a phone security locks can be hacked that means the phone will undergo rooting which in most cases leads to loss of data in the phone but however, i don't doubt any strategy that scammers employs to hack into one's private data and steal sensitive information from it because i have actually been a victim to scam, i'm literally extra careful about anything that has to do with my devices. Just like you've rightly said, you'd be definitely downplaying and underestimating the capabilities of hackers if you feel there's no way that hackers can access your device using this method, because there's really no limit to what those people can do, if they can remotely access your device using a mere keyboard downloaded on your phone then trust me that this is literally nothing.

There's a reason for every security awareness and each should never be taken lightly, regardless of how stupid or insane or even impossible it may sound.
Concerning borrowing of charger cables, the only reason I believe I may not be able to fall victim to this method of scam is because I always calculate the duration of my battery whenever I'm going out, if I know I'm going far, I'll always go along with my backup charger (power bank) or I carry my charger along so I wouldn't have to ask anyone for charger cos I ordinarily see it as an inconvenience and I hate inconveniencing people.
