No be even about borrowing of charger matter only, atleast make people dey try make sure say them secure applications wey dey contain important informations for their devices with two factor authenticator, finger prints and even use a very strong security key, I believe say even if them figure out the password, they'll get challenge if the particular application still get print unlock and 2fa atleast if more people fit they remember all these safe security measures and also apply am then the better for them. Technology done go far and different sector they fellow improve, including cyber crime, so everybody gats they two steps ahead and ensure say they secure vital informations against hackers and cyber criminals. Well, to those wey no dey borrow charger, kuddos to them cause atleast they done try avoid the challenge before eh lead them to begin find solutions, that one self na even the best way to avoid this kind situation. However due to certain circumstances person fit they in desperate need of borrowing, no be say eh no fit afford am ooo but then that na where the 2fa and print unlock go help the person.

When I came across this information some months ago, I was shocked and started taking precautions on who touches my phone and where I charge my phone. I only charge my phone inside my room and I have also given my family the awareness so that they should also be on guide of who they give their phones to, and not to share USB cords or take from anyone and bring it into the house for safety sake.

Me and my friends had this conversation back then , and some of dem still dey doubt say such go fit happen , I just laugh tell dem say dem never see any thing , this space nah where one can make or lose money ( nor be for only trading). Scammers full this space and dem dey find means each day tey access your information or assets.

The thing be say even though you nor use the chord the person go fit still , put am for your phone without your awareness and still thief your personal informations , so be cautious with the way you handle your devices to prevent such from happening, because if person get your personal information Omo nah one chance you dey.

It is nice you brought this update here for members to see for themselves what is really happening in the tech world. This is something you would least expect to see but the reality is that there are more still sophisticated spy gadgets than this one and  people would still make this careless mistake that would cost them their information and privacy. I believe this information would be very helpful to newbies into tech space and crypto because most people in the society have no clues such exist and if I am not mistaken most of this leaks circulating online might likely be as a result of this act they have done unknown to them borrowing cables to charge their gadgets and in the process of doing this, their privacy is breached and things gets messy which they can not explain or understand.

It is right time we take our safety and security serious as this is the only thing that can guarantee our privacy. These days nothing can be trusted anymore as your own safety is in your hands. No time wey e bi good idea to save password for Google or anywhere online. I neva try am and will neva try it. I see am as laziness, because if not, wetin go hard persin to copy am out for paper and save manually. I nor dey even set any site wey I register on to "remember password" for me. Nah! I nor trust any site or Google reach as I trust myself.

even if it is with someone you trust or not, the circumstances behind such request can put you in a position that you won't even think that what you are doing is indirectly exposing yourself to some risk that might be harmful to your security. some of us sometimes tries to be very careful on who we give access to our device but there is always a time when we become a bit careless and just give people access to our device. i think a possible solution to this could be that we stay disciplined enough to keep our working phone totally isolated from regular things. if you know that if at all your device gets compromised that the tendency of your asset being compromised is large or that your security can be bridged, then it is only best that you at least have two phones and ensure that the one that contains a lot of your delicate details is kept completely hidden from the reach of outsiders.

for a lot of persons, borrowing chargers looks like a regular thing most especially when you are out and discovers that you have ran out of battery, for most cases, your chances of borrowing someone else's charger is very high but if the phone you are using is basically for making of calls is what you will be charging, then you are sure that there is no threat you will likely face even if you make use of a strangers charger.

I believe you still don't get the risk here or maybe you don't understand the extent of the risk here. You don't need to only require to charge to be able to fall for that. Someone can also want to collect some documents or files or something of their interest from your device and you can still fall for this trick and going by you trusting only people you know can obviously fall for it, yes you can be aware of this trick but what if the person you trust is ignorant of this and exposes you to this ? You can never be obvious confident that you are secured from this. This best option on my opinion is saving your crypto in a cold storage wallet and best have a device that is just private for your wallet holding alone and should not be accessible to anyone.

Hahaha...I don't want to downplay a security threat but I still do not believe this will give the hacker all passes to the password, fingerprint, facial recognition, 2FA etc, all at the same time. This is why it's good we should not limit the security features to passwords/pins only, the world we live in is now mad.

I read of this a few years ago but did not pay attention to it because I do not charge outside and even if I have a reason for it, it will be collected from a known person. I've also learned not to allow Google to save my password through its manager, it's a serious security bridge on its own. I memorise my password now and do not check "remember password" anymore.
