benchmark takes into account all command line parameters from managed software options; if it's not the case for you, then you're doing something wrong.

regarding your second question - you do confuse the "profit profile" and "rig" concepts, they aren't the same thing. you select the profit profile for a rig in drop-down list, and to select another rig - you must close the benchmark window, click on the desired rig and open the Benchmark window again.

I am a new user of AM. and I have a doubt that seems somewhat incongruous to me.

If I do a Benchmark to know the power of HASH of my machine, the tests are done without taking into account the intensity that I have already varied in the miners.

If I do mining a currency, then I can update your HASH with the right button, but you would have to do it with all the algos.

Because the benchmark does not take into account the intensity parameter established in the CCminer?

Is that I do not see it logical, I think you should apply the configuration of each IBC and the intensities already added to each one.

Another failure in benchmark. If I do the rig1 test, I finish it and save the results. In the drop-down, I change to another rig, but it still shows the same cards as the RIG1, which are not the same. The only way is to close the benchmark, choose the rig and then open the benchmark again

Hello Patrik, I think the estimates are wrong with respect to the next image. Am I mining the wrong algorithm for that reason? It is a question.

The algorithm is timetravel

most likely yes. Zpool shows exaggerated numbers for timetravel profit estimate.

*** FEATURE REQUEST ***

Hi Patrik,

- Add login to AWM Cloud with AWM Users.

My idea to add this would simply to have it as an option for each User under Security to allow cloud access.

Anyone have good alternatives to this until this feature might become a reality?  Kiss

Hi patrike,  is it possible to somehow hide bottom panel in awesomeminer?

in case you have many miners - bottom panel reduces the miners list space.
I can allow it to become very small at least. Hiding it completely might result in that users cannot find it.

at least this would be great!

ps. there could be some pin/unpin flag(small button) for bottom panel show/hide.

Hello ! I have a question .!  I work for pool zpool.ca and there are constantly adding new algorithms to switch . But in the Awesome Miner , none of these algorithms assume as ( allium, blakecoin). Question the program provides how to update the selected pool with a list of algorithms? .
And the second question is whether it is possible to manually add the pool algorithm , which is not in the list. ?   and if so .!  could you tell me where exactly to do it not understand ? Thanks
yes it is possible.
add a new algorithm, then add a pool or online service for it.

here ?

hello, patrike
there's a bug in all versions of Awesome Miner, it doesn't show NVIDIA GPUs running in TCC mode in "map to system monitoring" and benchmark windows. screenshot from my rig with 2 RX570s and 8 NVIDIA P104-100s for example:

so there's no way to select particular GPU for benchmarking or mining, and all the monitoring data should always be provided by managed miner APIs. some miners can't do this and then I'm stuck with no temperature monitoring at all, like this -

that's not cool and it will be great if you can fix this Smiley
thank you.
There will not be an easy fix to this one, because I use a third party library for GPU sensor readings, and it doesn't look like it works with the TCC setup. I didn't know TCC was available on nVidia GPU's other than the high end segment.
maybe you can use MSI Afterburner Remote Server API as an alternative way to query device stats?

by the way the latest GPU-Z release includes a fix for a similar problem
Quote
v2.9.0 (May 7th, 2018)
Fixed empty or incorrect readings for NVIDIA GPUs in TCC mode (Quadro/Tesla)

I found a workaround for now - nvidia-smi successfully switched NVIDIA P104-100s from TCC to WDDM mode, now Awesome Miner can see them. but WDDM mode has some disadvantages in it, NVIDIA says -
Quote
The TCC driver model is optimized for compute applications. I.E. kernel launch times will be quicker with TCC. The WDDM driver model is designed for graphics applications and is not recommended for compute applications.

Patrick,
Can it change the frequency and voltage on Antminer B3?

Hi Patrik,

Even if the mining software is not running on an ASIC and it states disconnected, can you please enable the possibility to restart the asic ? It's done via ssh so it is independent from the mining software.

Thank you very much !
You can use the rules with SSH for this. Please see "Example: Reboot Antminers via a button click":

Patrike, return please back the profit display in Online Services at max \ min profit down. It is inconvenient to see profit on pools at this moment
I will update this in the next release, to make it default sorted on the profit column.

For the moment, you can click on any column to sort on it.

Yes, it really helped. Thank you very much, your miner is simply magnificent! And you are a very productive and responsive developer. I admire your work))

can someone please post the best switching interval and profit threshold settings , i have mine at 5 minutes and 20%

is 5 minutes too short ?
5 minutes is probably too short. You don't want to be in a situation where you mine for 5 minutes without a block being found, then move on. I would say someplace between 15-25 minutes would be good, depending on where you mine, algorithms, and coins. Also if you have alot of algos, and pools selected, a longer switching period lowers the chances of something going wrong if you can't always monitor your rigs 24/7.

thank you , i will set it at 15-25 minutes with 20%

Nice updates Smiley Is there way to have API access for Dragonmint B29 ASIC on AwesomeMiner?
Dragonmint doesn't allow SSH access from what we have seen so far, so they will always run in Restricted API mode.

They do have their own proprietary API to set the default pools for example, and that could possibly be supported.
