ty for this btw. this is amazing  Grin

Yes, thanks Sootha, great work here!
FYI, if anyone is looking for Raven support, put this in your config.json
{CoinFullName: "Raven", CoinShortName: "RVN", Algo: "X16r", BlockReward: 5000, BlockTime: 60, BlockExplorer: "https://rvn.hash4.life/ext/summary", BlockExplorerType: "Iquidus"}

One thing I don't understand though. The difficulty is always far lower than the website difficulty for  new coins, and it looks like it takes a while (even a few hours) to adjust to the correct level. Why not just start with the exact number from the blockexplorer?

Also, I notice that on some explorers, where there is no value for the coin, CoinUpdater will overwrite any manual entries with zero.
For example, my mktcoin entry:
{CoinFullName: "Mktcoin", CoinShortName: "MLM", Algo: "X17", BlockReward: 2500, BlockTime: 360, BlockExplorer: "https://info.mktcoin.org/ext/summary", BlockExplorerType: "Iquidus"}
Whats odd is this coin is actually traded on southxchange, but I get the error "can't find price" for MLM

Thanks!

Regarding difficulty adjustments, I noticed too, previous versions seems to update on every minute and smoothed out pretty quick after say, 20min. However I haven't added any new coins bar 2 in v0.4 and they uses the cryptoid as explorer. What happens here is that the difficulty value don't update until exchange price update cycle which is around 15min. Thus taking hours for those coins' difficulty to come down. (so only when the console window come up with the message "Updating all CryptoID prices..done!" is when those coins' difficulty gets pulled and updated). One way around it is that it seems that it can be forced run on each start of the coin updater, so if you want to bring it down quicker, just relaunch the updater every few minutes and it did the trick for me...

Cheers for confirming that!

Stupid question but how is spending $170 and using this plugin better than entering the pools manually and getting AM to switch between them?  Sorry for the noob question, but really a noob to all this  Cheesy  Basically, why should I spend my next $170 of mining profits on AM instead of just withdrawing it to my fiat bank account?  Thanks in advance for the help!
Because when you have 20 full rigs running like me and having AwesomeMiner switching pools, managing the miners, and now always showing the newest/most profitable coins, $170 is ~12 hours worth of mining.

I am totally agree.

Is it possible to add https://cryptohub.online/ to get market prices also?

Pool groups my man!  When you setup a bunch of pools for these individual coins into a pool group in Awesome Miner, you now have the statistics to do your own profit-switching between real coins and not through a service like Zpool, MPH, ahashpool, etc.

Also, it's good to keep an eye on some coins in one spot rather than having to go check web sites like WTM, crypto-coinz.net and the like and having to put in your hashing power over and over.  AM already knows your hashing power, so you will get more accurate results.

Thank you for that.  So this checks prices or profitability of different pools?

Reading on, an API was mentioned.  Is this what is needed?

If so, that's quite steep for a new miner like myself with only one rig Sad  I was thinking of buying AM anyway, but only the standard edition.

Yes that is what you need enabled. It requires the $170 version of AM.

I'm guessing you don't have the HTTP API enabled in AwesomeMiner.
[/quote]

My hero! It was on but the "Required API" box was checked. Port was open and everything else was fine. So maybe it will help someone else too.

Hi
What is the correct explorer extension for cryptochainz?

Also TradeSatoshi is giving 503 error since some time...
None. It's automatic.

Nothing I can do about that.

Thaks a lot for the job, but in the config.json line

"{CoinFullName: "Muuncoin", CoinShortName: "MUN", Algo: "Skein", BlockReward: 5, BlockTime: 150, BlockExplorer: "http://explorer.muncoin.info/ext/summary", BlockExplorerType: "Iquidus"}"

must be

{CoinFullName: "Muncoin", CoinShortName: "MUN", Algo: "Skunkhash", BlockReward: 5, BlockTime: 150, BlockExplorer: "http://explorer.muncoin.info/ext/summary", BlockExplorerType: "Iquidus"}

True? Sorry but I'm a noob and I'm learning. Thanks for the good work

 Huh Huh Huh

Well, and to continue learning, AM Coins set Profit of $ 12.44 in BitSend by AM Coin Updater (top in the table) but WTM set Profit of $ 2.62 / day with WTM api. (bottom in the table). I do not quite understand the result offered by AM COin Updater

Sorry my bad English
