My X10, was failing like carnival shotgun, i had to dissamble it, and have noticed that the Orange Pi, wasn´t well attached to the hashing boards, i have pushed a little harder, and it finally fits totally, not any fail, 2 days after. hope it helps

My Baikal Giant-B is stuck at German customs authority ... and I fear that they will have to send it back to China as the devices miss the CE confirmity declarations.

you have to call them and ask what they need.
they need basically:
1. import instruction
2. a proof how much you paid for the miner (baikal put a invoice around 300$)
Have you asked Baikal about a CE certificate? Without one it‘ll be pretty difficult. I‘m not sure if they are even allowed to let it pass without one.
On arrival, customs immediately opened the package for further review.
Land Niedersachen officials came today to check the device in more depth and rejected the import to Germany due to missing CE marks etc. (Didn't see the check-report which they will provide to DHL).
German customs told me that they won't accept any CE certificates for that device via e-mail etc. anymore as the device itself is missing the labels

do people still buy miners after such huge btc drop...
I doubt at the prices they were trying to sell them at, but then again this is why _smart_ folks would never have bought them at that amount even before the recent market pullback. There was no reason to think that those values would continue for long. There was an unrealistic price run-up at the end of 2017. This is the correction. For my money... I've already payed off my x10, so making $30 a day is pretty great. I'd be very upset if I had paid more then about $2500 for it though.
As it is now, $7000 per miner is about 4 times too expensive IMHO to make sense unless you plan on being able to mine with it at the same return (~$30) for more than 8 months.
If you aren't into alt-coin speculation, and you think things are going to recover in less than 8 months, you'd probably do better (or as good) if you put that $7,000 in Bitcoin instead.

Don‘t use different power supplies for one miner, this happens if you don‘t power it on ‚at the same moment‘. You can‘t be that fast pushing buttons.

Can someone help me ? I think some of you guys has same problem. Giant x10 is running - after few days It disconnects from internet and start blinking. Also sometimes I cant acces to web settings. Someone know how to fix this ?

i have the same issue ! I talked to Baikail support and they send me a new controller board ($20 + shipping), hopefully its working much better. Otherwise i have a plug socket and can control tje power over an timer and via WebInterface.
