Account is not usually ban without any concrete reasoning. I think your account is reported or either suspected of the forum rules violation. Try contact theymos or any other moderator for help.

Mods and admins please come up with some reply or simply shut down this account
your current account won't be banned since you are only posting here on your ban appeal and it doesn't break forum rules. regarding them replying to you, you'll just have to wait but don't get your hopes up since there are a lot of members that have posted ban appeal without getting a reply to the forum staff. just like what The Pharmacist said "your chances are essentially zero for getting your account back.:"

If an account is ban is therefore mean it can't be recover except it was ban mistakenly only then you can  forward the mod a request not to check your account and recover it.
-snip
wrong! there have been cases where members have been banned for legitimate reasons but were absolve or their punishment lessened because the staff deemed the member's contributions to the forum is important and losing that member is a loss to the forum.

This is crazy, still waiting for any sort of reply. As I was instructed I'm not allowed to post in any other thread/topics. This account is only to get info about the ban.

Nothing has changed so far but it is good to see more posts in this thread so eventually, mods will notice it.

You can scroll through the Meta topic, and pay attention to how the moderators promptly answer questions that concern them directly. Find a topic about account hacking, and how quickly moderators appear there. Or, for example, today's topic..
Do you still doubt that the moderators have not heard about your appeal?

Yes logic says they must face dozens of ban appeals on a daily basis. I made an obvious mistake and the only thing I can do now is to sit down and wait for an answer.
Don't worry, mods probably saw your appeal, but they don't react immediately. Thing is, usual way that people in your situation manage to get their account back is if other members say that you are net positive for this forum, that you somehow contributed. But since you mostly spammed in the gambling section filling post quota, you chances are slim to none.

With that being said, I would personally like to see signature ban being used more often in similar situations and preferably lengthy one, like year or two.

Maybe you're right, and maybe you're not - because if you remember a case that lasted almost 2 years, then there is some logic that admins & global mods do not make such statements public.
That case is exactly one of the reasons why I think it would be good to get some kind of response, instead waiting for two years to get some feedback, and it doesn't necessarily have to be public. I am pretty sure that majority of people active in that thread (or at least those that were asking for 2nd chance) would agree with this. I guess mods & admins have a good reason why they do it this way instead.

In the concrete case, saying "yes" or "no" at this point is certainly too early, but if we look realistically the chances are very small or none for a positive outcome.
Yep, totally agree on this, OP should exercise more patience as it's only been a week since he started ban appeal.

If there is no community support and there is no mitigating circumstance like "I bought the account and the plagiarized post is not mine" (we had such a case), then such requests usually simply sink into oblivion - and most users accept it over time.

...and sometimes ignoring and keeping silent is the only answer you'll get.
Even though I understand that not getting an answer is kinda answer itself, I still think that there should be a proper way of handling similar cases. Simple "yes" "no" or " we are looking into your case and we'll get back to you when we make decision" would look much better. Then again, I have no idea how many cases admins get on the daily basis, so maybe they don't have enough time/manpower to answer to all of them.

Admins rarely respond to ban appeal threads created by members who weren't a net positive to the forum and those who don't get the support by established forum members who are ready to put in a good word and explain why a certain member should be given a second chance. From what I can see, no one has posted in your thread saying that you should be forgiven.

Even if someone does, there have been cases where users have waited 2 years for their accounts to be unbanned. Have a look at RegulusHr's ban appeal thread and how long he had to wait. And he had the support of the local Croatian community and many other members who have never dealt or spoken to him, and can therefore be considered totally neutral in the whole case.

It took you over 2 years to even ask what happened to your account, and now you expect someone to contact you in 2 days? In addition, those who get a permanent ban for plagiarism have little chance of forgiveness - and sometimes ignoring and keeping silent is the only answer you'll get.

Ok, It's the posting that actually changes the address.
Maybe theymos doesn't want the ban appeal email address to appear on the forum to make it harder to find it and avoid having it unnecessarily spammed. So, it gets automatically changed to the shortened version when included in a post.

The email addresses for the ban appeals and recoveries change regularly. I don't know the exact reason but probably to avoid being spammed.

Look in the recovery account topic, the mail is currently recoveries_ 2021_ xxlgg @ bitcointalk.org. And if you look at an archive, it is recoveries_ 2019 _t727d @ bitcointalk.org.

Email addresses should be changed every month/3 months or more. So if you appeal after that period, the email will never arrive.

Not sure why that format seems to be referenced quite a fair share of times on the forum when people post about their ban appeal (as per whay I see in the Search results window), without actually stating that they get a rebound from sending their appeal to that address. I though that the current one was still banappeals_2020_qw7sac@bitcointalk[dot]org.

Ok, It's the posting that actually changes the address. I wrote:
