My bank account gives me interest. All tough it is not a whole lot it gives me a solid reason to choose for my bank account.
Having your money sit there and earning on interest is a great feature, no other bitcoin wallet provider offers this at this moment.

I can be big if they develop a non-scam lending platform.

There is no such thing, you have to avoid being scammed, thats not the lending platfoms job. If its their job then they will keep most of the profit, in which case they will be the middleman again.

You could do P2P lending if you can avoid being scammed.

i choose bank because it's in real life and you can get interest by that. but if bitcoin wallet i also agree but not online one, because it's to risky to safe many bitcoins on online wallet.

Interest offers a partial offset against the inflationary aspect of fiat.
Since bitcoin's supply is fixed, the interest rate will be very low compared to fiat.
You need to give time for bitcoin banks (which offer interest) to develop.

Well if you want to use bitcoin through bitcoin debit cards then you should use both of them.
Banks and bitcoins, i prefer more to be my own bank - bitcoin wallet.
You almost can buy anything with bitcoin just sometimes you get discount sometimes you should have to pay more fees.

The bitcoin wallet. although i have to see it could use a make over.
The features are ok, but the look & feel is so 1999.
I hope the developers will pimp it in 2016

Bitcoin wallet would be my first choice. To me a wallet is like a bank where I can deposit or withdraw my btc at will at anytime. What is the need of bank when wallet is like online bank itself?

Why not both? Definitely both of them still being uses, but saving my money in bitcoin wallet is a good investment for my future..

agree with you Smiley
Im use both of them too, we can't use bitcoin without bank at this time,,

every month i exchange my bitcoin to my bank
TBH almost all of ppl who ever bought bitcoin have a bank account and buy bitcoin thru bank transfer or credit card, and i can sure they withdrawn btc to USD thru bank too, there's no big difference if both are just used for transaction ,different if both two compared for its function ,advantages, and disadvantages

Well, to be sincere I like bitcoin so much, more than bank, but, that won’t make me invest my whole money into bitcoin. With Bank I can easily withdraw my money anytime, and can hold them responsible for anyissue that occurs, but, I know that with wallet like xapo and coinbase you can withdraw your bitcoin in form of money through ATM but I still prefer bank.
I have no doubts at all that majority will have the same in minds. Bank is still the most secure, traditional, comfortable way to deal with your money. Bitcoin is still the new invention, just show up no more than 6 years. How could the masses trust it?

Yeah bitcoins can never replace banks and it doesn't guarantee that banks will disappear in the future with the existence of bitcoins, as banks are the most trusted institutions by the people and people have more faith in banks as compared to bitcoins, and there are many people who haven't even heard about the bitcoins and would hesitate in using bitcoins and they would prefer banks over the bitcoins that is for sure.
Bitcoins will never replace banks. Banks will not disappear. They will likely work together in some way, either as companions or directly in competition with each other. This is something that will never change, and we'll be seeing it for a long time in the future. Even if everyone knew about Bitcoin, it's unlikely that they will change just because of the differences.

Bitcoin provides us the freedom to be anonymous that is not possible with most banks, yes it does not provide us with the freedom to buy any or everything with a price tag but that is because bitcoin is just 7-8 years old, when internet was 7-8 years old payments were not possible to b make through internet, so just be patient and let bitcoin play its magic

Banks are full of scum bags who care only about lining their own pockets, anything that involves Banks as a solution is doomed to be corrupt and it wont help bitcoin.

Bitcoin wallet for sure because bank transfers are reversible.

reversible may not be such a bad thing. if you purchase something and it turns out bad, won't you wish the transaction was reversible?

i prefer an escrow, while i'm testing this thing for some time, before releasing the funds to the seller, bitcoin is not really against the buyers, with a trusted escrow both part are even out
