Bitcoin show signs of popularity to every people in the world, profitability of it makes me imagine that one day we can deposit and withdraw bitcoins in Banks.
If it happens, my question maybe, is it good or bad? for us bitcoiners, or for bitcoin itself.

In my opinion: what yours?
I think it will not be conflicted at all, since most users for sure get their payout through banks or other bank related process. It is only time that we wait for bitcoin and banks to merge and create a broader market for bitcoin that will surely increase value and popularity of bitcoin as popular as banks as we know and can be found in each city with many branches. It may have some bad effects like ruling out some currencies on some countries but it will only be minor problems where bitcoins possible hindrance would be to successfully use bitcoin on every store. But that is still far from possibility since not all store or services can be bought by bitcoin for its need of internet connection.

Like or not banks should adobt bitcoin in their service in the future. Now there are many payment wallet created by developers that enables buy and sell bitcoin as easy as buying bottled water. The method of payment will change and revolutionize banks policy if the govt agree to. In fact banks and govt still don't want to accept bitcoin.

Let's just see what happen for the future,if this would be happen i didn't see any bad idea ,banks and bitcoin are same important to us. We earn money through bitcoin and we save money in the bank.

As long as there is a need for physical cash, there will be demand for banks as well. If the payments become digital in the future, then mobile wallets and crypto-currency will make Bitcoin obsolete. If you want to store your wealth, you can store them in the form of Bitcoin in any online or hardware wallet. There is no need for a bank account.

Sure this will happen soon as bitcoin's owner plan to be like this. And yes, if bitcoin will become legal to all that there are no more troubles for bitcoin. Because I do believe that bitcoin will become the future's main money and people love bitcoin each day and am sure that it will more convenient to use by every one than cash. Ofcourse your question is a very good question because this will be the future of bitcoin.

That happened and remember not to have mistakenly had a country that had opened a bank accepting Bitcoin. I do not remember it in any country, but it happened  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I don't think it is possible because banks are against Bitcoin because Bitcoin's characteristics is the opposite of the money in the banks. The only thing that I can see a possibility is banks as storage of hard wallets and private keys for Bitcoin.  This is just my opinion. There are lots of possibilities in the future. We can never tell what might happen.

I think they can coexist to complement each other. The banks can easily go  for the blockchain technology and serve their clients better so that it will be a win-win situation rather than go hard against bitcoin.

This already exists! Coinbase, Kraken, Xapo, etc, are all banks whete you can store crypto and exchange it fir fiat when needed. Most of these banks offer debit cards now so you can spend your bitcoin wherever debit cards or visa/mastercard are accepted.

There's room for otherbanks to get involved but we shouldnt be acting like these services fon't already exist.

To the OP, how much do you pay your fiat bank in fees each year? Do they charge you for a checking account? Do they require a minimum balance for a savings account?

I'd rather be my own bank!
If this will happen that will be very good but banks are not going to accept it because of its prices and they take seriously to the prices but they are at the wrong end, bitcoin itself is a bank which keeps people investment and give them profit at the time of need and this s best than banks investing in bitcoin Is best than investing in banks.

I would be very happy when bitcoin can be integrated with the existing Bank system. but it seems to take a very long time because of the different systems available. bitcoin centered on the blockchain system, while the bank has its own system. if this happens then a great system will be made and surely this could be a huge economic power. we wait for this to happen and I hope bitcoin can turn into a medium of payment that is recognized by many countries. with bitcoin integration with the bank, the more people will trust bitcoin. this is the future of bitcoin that could happen because the future bitcoin I think is very bright.

Good ideas I also think Bitcoin is very popular to most people. It does not take much time from Bitcoin Bank. But it should be legal in all countries, so people of every country can keep Bitcoin as a deposit in the bank. Bitcoin is safe in it.

First of all, both are different right now. Since cryptocurrency is  getting popularity day by day, usage of  this also will be increased. Options are expected for sure. There will be definitely some developments, modification or alteration in this to better secured electronic currency, need strong blockchain system.

That would be a good idea. But the transaction of real money and bitcoin must be strictly controlled to prevent you know, "misunderstandings" between the bitcoiner and the bank.

brokerage firms or investment banks will tap into bitcoin soon as a trading tool or investable asset. brokerage firms will trade whatever their clients want, but it doesn't mean they would adopt bitcoin as a financial function. they just want volatility to trade.
so, i don't believe traditional banks would recognize bitcoin as a method of transaction or sending money, but other players like fintech companies or next generation banks will start using bitcoin.

It is quite possible. Here, for example, we have a bank that is actively buying Bitcoins.

My 2 cents....

It can happen... not opening a current account in bitcoin of course... but imagine:

- a bank can allow a client to “deposit” or convert crypto to his fiat account, the bank receives the crypto in his wallet, immediately exchange it on an exchange automatically into fiat, the exchange immediately transfer fiat to the bank, the bank transfers the fiat to the client account. After of course every body takes his commissions and fees normally as if it was jus a forex transaction.
- banks can make even a mobile app or wallet (private keys on clients mobile) and the client can transfer crypto to his credit, prepaid, debit cards or whatever accounts.
- a bank can verify me to an exchange, I register my name, account or card number only, the exchange requests all the KYC .. etc from the bank, so it is done.

Banks then can still work with crypto, while not really keeping crypto accounts.

i think it's very hard in this time , maybe in next 5 years after make research , but it's still hard

I am not sure if this could happen or will the government allow such transaction to happen within the bank as the banking channels already have so many products and work to do. Might be there may be a separate entity if ever it has to happen that will handle the bitcoin or cypto currencies related stuff and where govt may give licenses to run it.

It is not good, because I think bank is against bitcoin so maybe that will not be possible to happen, bank wants bitcoin to disappear and I think they don't want it to stay any longer, they don't want enter cryto world. So I guess this is too impossible to happen.

I think there will be a lot of space as you said, day by day Bitcoin is getting a familiar and profitable platform for investment and saving, so if the government will approve it as a legal money then the bank may take the chance to be marge with Bitcoin. if this will happen then people will be more involved because of getting security.
