It doesn't really matter if Banksy isn't OK with it. You can't copyright a name, you could register Banksy as a trademark but that is about it. Copyright only protects works of authorship

I definitly hope this coin will succeed, some features are really "impressive", we'll see to what extent but sure hope it will go far and high !

Ok I edited my initial post no longer labelling this a scam and I edited other posts that had foul language. I was out of line and I am sorry. But still, how can you be sure Banksy is ok with this?

Well that pertains to his artwork and NOT to the fact that his name is being linked to something he has absolutely nothing to do with. It was the same with Coinye and Takei, but if I am wrong so be it, I won't be buying this coin and I won't clutter up the thread more than I already did. I just felt I needed to get the warning out.

From whom? Banksy does not have a public presence? If he did actually admit to who he was, then I'm sure he would be prosecuted in the UK for a large number of what is effectively vandalism in the name of art
The name Banksy is copyright protected. He could press legal charges without having to reveal his identity.

if banksy were going to create a coin, he'd find a way to let people buy pieces with only that coin.. 99.99% chance this is a scam. OTOH, he makes a lot of shit look like a scam, so..
By the way, when Banksy finds out the developer uses his name for this he will not be very pleased. Both Coinye and Takeicoin got killed because of legal action, it's a matter of time before Banksy orders this circus to be taken down. People never learn..

Cool thanks for the heads up, I love video games so I'll be sure to try that out during some down time. I don't know what the future of this coin will be but I've got a feeling it is going to be exciting and I'm going to make the best of it.
