Paulie Malignaggi seems to be having a tough time after the fight. And that was after he earned boos from the crowd during the fight. And now he is being disowned by his fans, for his distasteful comments after the match. Ultimately remarks against Conor McGregor proved too much to tolerate for his fans. This guy should learn how to accept defeat in a modest way.

@Baofeng. The fight was not as exciting as the altercations of the 2 outside of the ring hehe. It was Paulie, he did not show anything after all his tough talk.

@TravelMug. Paulie's hands are used to the big padded boxing gloves.

Guys, did anyone follow this bare knuckle fight? Paulie was upset by here, I didn't bet because I can't fine any sports bookies, but I guess this is a huge windfall for those who put some money on Lobov.

Artem Lobov Shocks Paulie Malignaggi, Wins Close Decision

Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall in Tampa, Florida - Former two division world champion Paulie Malignaggi was unable to make his bare knuckle debut with a win, as he lost a very close five round unanimous decision to MMA fighter Artem Lobov

All three judges saw it 48-47.

Afterwards, Malignaggi said he suffered a broken hand in the second round. Malignaggi said he was shocked at the decision and felt strongly that he clearly won.

The contest took place at the junior middleweight limit of 154-pounds.

Malignaggi (36-8, 7 KOs), who turns 39 in November, retired from boxing in March of 2017 when he was knocked out in eight rounds by Sam Eggington.

I haven't seen the fight, but Paulie Malignaggi has been known throughout his career to have a weak hands, and this is bare knuckle so I wouldn't be surprised if he suffer after injury like this in this fight.

Lobov is one tough SOB and maybe his face is also hard to break that's why Malignaggi broke his hands.

Motormouth Paulie Malignaggi is upsetting quite a few people. Just a few days back, he called the MMA commuity as "piece of sh!t". Then went on to claim that boxing is tougher than MMA, because the former is having a higher death toll. I think that this guy is brain damaged. Do we measure toughness of a particular competition by its death toll? Gross!

What are the odds on this? Is Paul the favorite? But for the Conor - Paul storyboard continuity, I hope Paul wins.

MMA, boxing or bareknuckles, the world needs Conor McGregor hehehe.
Conor McGregor is asking for Khabib rematch which is a fight he will not win how hard he tried, if he is intelligent enough he must go after the Diaz brothers, he have to call out Nick Diaz and earn and lot of money and then if he gets defeated there is always a trilogy in Nate Diaz which fans are waiting, i do not think he will cut down to 145 pounds again with hundred million dollars in his bank account and his proper 12 business flourishing.
Any bitcoin sports book having bare knuckle odds ?

This is as good as fighting without any gloves. They are saying that the knuckles will be exposed. Then what is the use in going for gloves? There will be a lot of facial damage and blood everywhere. BTW, I just checked the odds for this fight. And here they are:

Sportsbetting.ag: Artem Lobov +220, Paulie Malignaggi -280
MyBookie: Artem Lobov -180, Paulie Malignaggi +140

This is very confusing. Two different betting sites, and they have very different odds for the fight.

Just looking at the 2 pictures above me, this sports is really brutal. At least in Boxing and MMA, they used gloves to protect the athletes from further injuries but with this sports, their face is all messed up. I think that Bare Knuckle fights should have more strict regulation.

Strict regulation? Regulations don't work when you fight without the gloves. Just check this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyjM3fEDvdo

At around 0:19, you can see Jason Knight losing one of his tooth. After watching the one minute video, I felt like I had watched some Hollywood horror movie. This one is not for civilized people.

Malignaggi ? I thought this guy have already retired, honestly, I never heard a news that he is active again, the last time I saw him fight was against Miguel Cottor, that really shows I am not an all around boxing fan, I just watch big names like Pacman.

Will probably watch this fight and put some bets, I hope to see Malignaggi improve his punching power.

You sure you watched the fight? It was like 13 years ago dude. Cotto and Malignaggi fought in 2016.  Grin. So far I haven't seen any bookies yet,  I guess it's time for @Cloudbet, @Sportsbet and @Nitrogen Sports to open the gate for this kind of betting. So if they can read this thread, kindly reply guys because I think you have an audience here.  Grin

^^ Holy S**t. Those two warriors really REKT each other during the fight. It's really brutal as f**k, do we really need this kind of fight for entertainment purposes alone?

Or are we going back to the time of Gladiators, wherein two warriors are thrown in the cage and fight to death?

I have a feeling that this is not going to last for long. In a strict sense, tournaments such as this one may not be illegal. But the fighters are taking too much damage and it is just a matter of time before something untoward happens at the ring. I am OK with Boxing and MMA. But this is just taking it a bit too far. Too much blood and gore around.

I agree, at least governing bodies should step up before it's too late. Although boxing has also some sort of 'accidents' in the ring. But those have 8 ounces to 12 ounces gloves, but still some had died.

So imagine this bare knuckle fights, sooner or later we 'might' see worst things to happen inside and even outside (after the fight), because of the damage they body and mind take.

Think ' The Russian Hammer' will be too much for the champion boxer in this contest.
Did you guys see his last fight what happened  Shocked

And this is how the loser (Jason Knight) looked like:

I have never watched bare knuckle fights, either on TV or directly. And after seeing these pictures, I don't want to watch such fights for the rest of my life. I don't think that bare knuckle is compatible with modern human civilization.

But as far as I'm concern, there are no sports bookies yet opening this kind of sports gambling. This is the first bare knuckle fight posted in this board, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/whats-your-opinion-of-bare-knuckle-fighting-and-where-to-bet-5129164 Guess what, it's Lobov vs Knight. However, I'm not a fan of this gruesome and brutal sports.

He looks like someone who just woke up in an emergency room bed, wondering if the other guy looks just as bad as him!
Well I just saw his last bare-knuckle fights and he really messed up his enemy's face and even knocking some teeth
check out this video, this guy will go toe to toe and not going to step back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyjM3fEDvdo

I'll prediction a brutal win for this win.

This is the first time i've seen boxing that is using bare knuckles for their fight, both fighters have their own advantages but playing it in boxing rules? It might be a little different for Lobov this time just like what happened to Conor McGregor before unless if Lobov got a lot of stamina in him he might stand a chance if the Paulie is not that kind of defensive fighter just like Floyd Mayweather.
