Defenitely not one lol,bought some now, will hold it long term.
The project looks legit, but I have never liked poorly distributed tokens.
I am also not sure how popular an alternative web browser can get. Google Chrome, M$ Explorer, and Safari are pretty entrenched in the space, and they all had their own operating systems to package their browsers with to gain market dominance.
I would need to see comparisons of the usage of them versus third party open source browsers like Firefox, but just guessing that the usership of such is a paltry sum compared to the giants like M$, Apple, and Google.

I have used it for 1 week and first intention is okay. I don't think it will turn into a scam, becasue they have a solid team. If I'm not wrong, some of the developers served it Mozilla in their past. But honestly I find its price very high.
I don't know if I like the idea that people would get paid for watching ads. If you are an advertiser, how much value would you put in such interactions (views or clicks) with such ads? I bet, not much. In that sense, to me, these ad interactions wouldn't be too different from the bot traffic.

I have some BAT in my portfolio as of this week.
I have used the brave browser both on my pc and iphone. It is really nice, less battery consumed more privacy and faster page load. Their vision makes me a believer. I am hodler on BAT

The ICO price was $ 0.08 if i am correct, so it's still about 200% up. So no

The whole idea of paying with some token to remove ads is dumb in my view, anyone with enough knowledge about crypto knows about adblock.

The dev team is too solid to be considered a scam. I'd doubt that many people would risk their names. As previously said the main developer of JavaScript. About that fast sellout of the token I don't know. If they weren't who they are I would consider it very very shady.
To break into that kind of market when you are up against google and company is tough. Good luck to them. They will need it
Great concept, extremely hard to pull off and convert people/advertisers to use it.

and after that we will see the big future ahead, if the dev will continue pursuing their goal to success competing with big well known company will leave as their as a dream but like fb founder mark S. did he just continue dreaming and he dream big and look at him now. so lets face it those who doesn't like the project will fud here and those who believe will depend will see the result after maybe a year or two.

It's not a scam. But you shouldn't buy right now, the project is probably 1 year away from signifiant development / news. And atm it sits at ~6x ico price. It will probabil drop to ~100mil cap.
