I like the project, the founder and the business model. But BAT relies on the popularity of the browser and it's very hard for some to ditch chrome for it unless there is a convincing reason to do so, like being paid. But to make the ad reward works, it will need to have both the ad ecosystem and big publishers to be with it, which is not impossible but very difficult. So wait for the breaking news like publisher or advertiser partnership then invest, otherwise, looks elsewhere

It is a really interesting coin, i always wanted to invest in it, but i never had time to investigate about them and decide if should i invest or not, it is a little bit expensive right now, but i still see it profitable. I really like their project, i will follow it for some weeks and then i will see. Its name is so curious too, but it sounds good.
I think that in the project baht and so much capitalization. As for a regular browser

Just getting people to switch over to Brave would be a big obstacle - and even then, most people dont like ad's, even if they're being paid a small amount to watch them.
Absolutely. I am offten use Firefox, but Brave is in my opinion will not goes to mainstream.
Because it is combining too many things and browser for surfing becoming very complex instrument where surfing is not the main reason,but secondary option .
I am sure people will use simple browsers from major competitors.
If you think BAT good or bad just download Brave and decide.

Guys really do not understand how you can think of BAT as a scam. You will not find information in this forum because from the beginning the choice of developers was to communicate only through their blog, rocket chat and reddit. If you go to check before empty talk, you will notice that communications are happening on a daily basis. Other things that amaze me: is there a project that is not controlled by whales? With all the money you go to lose with fucking ICO, do you suspect that the founder of Java Script and Mozilla want to cheat on you? All this is really, really, really stupid.

i read this and it's a cool idea.it's true that BAT is not fake.
As far as I saw their ICO was finished before it even started. There are only handful of investors in it who hold majority of the tokens. Personally, as an investor I wouldn't feel safe investing in it but they have a good roadmap so who knows what they have for the future.
Some traders I know on Twitter are also trading BAT and they get huge profits with it. To tell you honestly, at first, I was quite hesitant to buy, because, like everyone else is saying here, I only heard about BAT only a week ago and there's still not much information released about it that will get you attracted to the coin. But when I saw how much those traders are making with it, and how much its price now compared to BTC, I decided to buy, as it seems to be a good coin for both short and long-term trading.
By the way, a friend of mine just recently informed me that BAT may break to 10k sats before the end of this month. So maybe it's a good idea to stock now while it is still in the 5k sats range.

Hi all, today I read something about the token Bat (Basic attention token) for the first time. The thing that struck me was that creator of BAT is Brendan Eich, the founder of Java and Mozilla! Why with such an important project I don't find any information here? Maybe is it a fake? Because it sounds me really interesting..

I definitely don't think this is fake at all, I do however think they did themselves a pretty big injustice by not divvying out coins better. Letting a couple whales buy them all pretty much killed all momentum they had and now they have to build it all back up, which will be very hard without implementing the BATs into the browser and proving the concept. That being said, I bought some and they are going in my wallet and hopefully when this pays off I remember I have them.
Following the read of the post, i went on to read their post and whitepaper am quiet convinced its gonna be big but i ve got to wait and see it mature first. i will surely get some
IMO, it's a great concept, but it will have an adoption problem.
as far as i know, the BAT is a good project, but its ico offand many people, it has a record that the fast sold out and the least people participate, several big whale booked the ico through bribe the miners
That is true, the BAT is not fake, but it is not so hot after the ICO because the ICO tokens are almost bought by a few big whales, after that, some ICO projects start to set a cap for an single investor.

The token is real but the project ehm 'Make me questios". There are no press release about the project after ICO. To make PPC site ad network with such amount of ICO raised, I think no need three months. They can pay great developers , in fact, do you see if the BAT project live? I am scared, it is just the way to raise money without real project executed. Thank you

Have you joined in the slack? it seems you are not trying anything to find the truth about that. The bat already made by the brave browser developer but that doesn't makes me surprise caused by the brave browser is less in the popularity. try to join in their slack to gather the more information.
