Wait, why is $BTA being removed from Bittrex?
It is not clear exactly why Bata is being de-listed.
The official answer from Bittrex for the coins listed is that they do not give advance warning to developers or specify reasons for de-listing.
Bittrex is protecting their own interests as well, so not giving a reason protects them from possible legal action.
There are a couple theories as to why the de-listing and we are working on a resolution to hopefully stay listed on Bittrex.
yep, this is pretty obscur why Bittrex is delisting different coins..... people are speculating....
This is all to remove trust for people less experienced in crypto and create unfounded fear....
that is sad for the whole crypto industry actually.

No other news than we are working to ensure that Bata remains on Bittrex.

I made a offline wallet with the link from the bata.io website. I want to transfer them from bittrex to offline, but i don't get the succes. When i look at my address in the bata block explorer search bar, i get no results. Amount on bittrex stays the same. Tried first 10 bta's but with nu luck :-(
It would be probably best to join Slack if you are still experiencing an issue.

This isn't "threatened" with delisting, though - it's scheduled, which means they've gone through all of the process they need in order to delist a coin and decided it will definitely happen.
Possibly the BATA team can convince them to change their minds - if they are able to present Bittrex with information that they didn't have, when they made that decision.
But the fact that the best info the team/ connected people (Midnight Miner) have said they have got though - "...a couple of theories..." - does not fill me with confidence that this can happen!
(Unless they are keeping something from us, but I can't think of a single reason that this would be a good idea, seeing as they will have to share it with Bittrex anyway, so it can't be something that has to be kept secret for operational reasons).

For those who think it is the end of Bata and are critical of development (that they do not have any comprehension of), please calm down.
For the moment please be advised to remove your Bata from Bittrex as per Bittrex wallet message.
We have not been advised what the issue actually is or had a response from Bittrex Management. If we do hear I will advise the community.

That is how they do things. Stealthcoin experienced the same.
Do you mean that Stealth was also threaten with delisting?
A couple months ago yes. They changed their code and got the delisting averted.

If Bittrex for sure shuts this coin down, it will die a slow painful death. Every other exchange has garbage volume and reputation. Binance might be able to save it, but its unlikely. I wont risk buying more, even at a massive dip, unless its future on bittrex is secured.

pretty weird thread.... on one side, we have responsive team
giving updates about the news with Bittrex delisting...
on the other side, we seem to have some "funny" haters
of this coins.....
Usually, when haters are present this is because dev team ran away and project is dead.
Here it does not seem the case... so, why so much hate in the messages of some?

I just hate scammers who don't really develop. This dev left for 2 years and returned on the big alt pump season and promising all pump things like masternodes in Dash. Nothing really changed in 2 years and the only thing I see
is the wallet of the dev shrinking he sold 50% of his tokens when he was hyping this project.
He went from almost 1million coins to 500k coins. And his answer was I need 250k usd for development
