Me, myself and I
small update, now all the images for a game will be preloaded and characters won't flicker and will render properly in game (some versions of ff had an issue with this)

also experimenting with audio. you should hear a sound when someone joins your game, it won't work on my ff on linux but its fine in chrome. will fix

this is a small quick update, a big update that I'm working on are tournaments & faucet mode

Pretty much have some tournament, thats great idea for faucet and tournament. When you fix it?

Yeah, I did feel it was due to bad ping this time, unlike last time, when it used to happen if I use to press opposite keys too quickly. Would wait for a server near me then. Thanks for the update . Nice to see the site progressing well.

we just played a bit, and this thing with passing through a wall for a bit is pretty annoying Smiley I'll make it a high priority.

Definitely much better, but not sure what kind of fix was implemented. It doesn't happen that often, but still does, and instead of walking on the wall or the bricks, it comes back with a small lag from the place it went off the normal path.
The lag is still an issue for me, I get around 150 for that.

I believe that bug with passing through walls is totally resolved now, you can never actually go through a wall and for example place a bomb on the other side. if it shows on your computer that you passed through, it is due to a connection loss or very low ping.

thing with slightly going over the obstacle is clearly visible with bad pings (150 is I think too high for playing I think, you should probably wait for me to start a server closer to you) It's still slightly visible with ok pings, but it doesn't affect gameplay, I will work on tweaks that will deal with this a bit later, its not a priority atm.

what was implemented now is that you can watch someone else playing the game, if you click on an already running game.
and this a step towards the ability to watch replays of games that have ended. I need this debug individual games.

sry for late replies I was away for a bit.

Also I got the same problem of going out of the walls , that I reported in the starting of the month .

Yup, I'm aware of that issue, I've been working on other things, but now this has been resolved.

Ok, preliminary spectating has been implemented, you can now watch games other people are playing live (games you didn't join)

Some work has been done on preloading images before starting a game, seems like ff is having issues with this (still requests images from the server) will work on this further.

working on replays now.

The most Professional Cryptocurrency Casino
removed an asian server for now, very little games were played on it.

quick high level todo list,

- spectating and game replays (for debugging potential in-game issues)

- tournaments

- faucet mode

with these things done, I will consider this a beta release, do some marketing, and I will be ready to refund bets due to any in-game issues at this point. here we will see if this site will actually work and if people will use it.

- lagging fix experiments - there are a few things I can do to hide the lag and compensate, (moving more parts of the engine to the clientside) these things are complex but I will definitely try them out.

after this, and if people actually play the game, I will work on bomberman with infinite field and many players, new games, bring in more people to work on development, and such

This is such a fun game. Smiley
Some feedback for now: The game some times lags and if its at a crucial time it can cost you to lose. It has the classic feel of bomberman and its quite fun to play.
Keep it up and man. Smiley

thanks!

about lags, I feel that if my ping is around 50ms, game is totally ok to play, how much is your ping?

game lags due to a network, can't help much with that, it happens with all online multiplayer games. bomberman is super sensitive lagging because its so fast paced, I know.

make sure you are not torrenting or straining your network connection in some other way when playing the game.

also, chrome works the best, on my machine I don't see a difference between ff and chrome, but maybe try chrome if your machine is slowish and see if it that helps at all

asian server online (in tokyo)

Well, I located in HK and get a very high network delays in Asian server... But this game is quiet interesting. I'll try another server.

oh. ok. I'm collecting this data from users and will move servers or create new ones if nessesary.
I was testing it again today , I also get a few delays while playing it.

btw I'm aware that there are not that many players on the site to play with atm and I'm ok with low traffic for now.

long term plan is to fix obvious bugs, and then implement game replays and spectating in order to debug individual game sessions.

when I'm sure everything works smoothly I can start working on getting more people to the site, including faucet mode with tournaments (winner of the tournament takes the faucet prize) which should bring you more players.

thanks everyone for your feedback and support.

When it runs smooth i will be helping getting you in traffic also, im sure a few others wont mind spreading the word.  The good thing is even if you had only say 10 active players in the games/lobby these players could play game after game consistently for hours.   It can then build from there.

Unless someone will only play for 0.5 BTC per game or something lol its a very quick game to log in and get going.
