I'm sure if you ask MarkM nicely he'll tell you some nodes you can get the client to connect to Smiley

One person told me one, in private message, that I use with -addnode. But that was in a private message, and my own node has no incoming port, sorry. Set yourslf up with an incoming port though and people should find you, and if they don't then give out your own node's IP and port for others to use -addnode to tell their nodes to reach out to you.

I never have been able to get an active connection...  Sad

I neighter.. are there some adresses I could tell the client to connect to?

In theorie, if you only have an uncomplete chain, could you setup just 2 clients and solo mine, let them believe thats the right chain?
(even with no permanent result, just for testing)

sent to both

Thanks!  Smiley

I started the mining with the client's built-in miner for about an hour last night and solved a block, got 42 BQCs.  I only had 1 connected peer at the time so I thought I was on a small fork of the chain.

This morning I received 2 transactions so it looks like I'm on the right network.

Thanks again!

This new *coin is not made for be traded, sell/buy. It's just for "fun".
remind this...

Yeah and XRP are not a currency, just an anti-spam device. Naive much?

All that happened, I think, is someone either just mined lots of blocks or did like Luke did to coiledcoin, mining blocks while also only building on their own blocks not on anyone else's blocks, and not putting other people's transactions into blocks without fees. I think Luke did it with jigh fees for other peopel's transactions, not sure the details on this one but the attack was very short, attacker did it a while, bragged about it being dead, and went away, leaving it in peace ever since. Basically it never really died.
