I am not sure where BBQcoin.com has come from, I am guessing a Graphics Design and real world business background. What I do know is that Bigduab has said he owns the restaurants on BBQcoin.com, hence is connected to that website and also that he tried to create a BBQcoin foundation, to try and get the community to back him, which did not work.

Instead BBQcoin.com have decided to do a hostile takeover of developing BBQcoin and without even messaging me first, just to even let my team know they were planning one. (We could have worked together)

Whoever is running BBQcoin.com has really gone about things the wrong way, I have put my own money into running this website even when BBQcoin was worth nothing and as just as our Dev team get it onto three exchanges they come in and try to force a takeover.

They do this with a closed sourced and self installing .exe, which I have learned over years is very bad practice as the file could have anything embedded within it.

I don't think anyone knows who runs BBQcoin.com, as their BTCTalk username is the website name, also only less then a month old, which is odd aswell, if it is BigDuab running it, why does he not just come out and say it or is it because his first attempt of a takeover with the foundation failed.

From this moment on, development from bbqcoin.org will stop until BBQcoin.com contacts us to let us know their plans. We cannot plan any future updates if they are planning other ones without even consulting us, this would lead to confusion for both us and the community.

Right now I feel BBQcoin.com is hurting BBQcoin and not helping it at all.

For me, one of the good things about BBQcoin was the fact it was totally transparent and honest but now BBQcoin.com is changing that buy not telling anyone who they are and having closed sourced client software.

Thanks.

Just put together my first big mining rig and sticking with BQC all the way!

Currently pooling in 2.1 - 2.2 Mh/s on 3 x 7970s Wink

I will also start accepting BQC for my web design/marketing/consulting services, very soon, too.

Good stuff, I have 2 x 7970 on the go but three is nice and you are getting some good hashrates out of them.

Check out coin pool monitor in the play store. It lists BBQ exchange rates as well as profitability.  You can also keep track of your miner's.

I think an Android app would probably be better in terms of exposure. There are many more Android users than iPhone users, especially worldwide.

Amazing forum just for Altcoins and the best I have seen yet.

http://cryptocointalk.com

It has almost every coin on there, with new ones added daily, including prices and percentage rise and falls.

I do not run this forum but it is useful for me with BBQcoin so I joined and the guy that runs it is really friendly.

At the moment the Alt-coin market is over saturated but people will soon get bored with coin after coin and should then come back to the coins that have been around the longest or server a purpose.

For me that is Litecoin, Namecoin, BBQcoin, and Devcoin. Almost all of the others are new, a pre mine scam, dead or dying.

If anyone asks for a reason as to why we need BBQcoin is is because its history is out for everyone to see, any premise that might have happened means nothing with over 15 millions coins mined so far.

BBQcoin is a truly free and transparent crypto-currency.

Thats just my opinion and I have only been in this game for 2 and a half years.

Now is the time to mine BBQcoin as the difficulty is low at the moment but I cannot see it being like that for much longer and I can also see the price of Litecoin rising in the next two weeks swell.

The team over at BBQcoin.org have now started work on an IPhone Application devoted to BBQcoin. The first released version will have a current price ticker featuring the trading pair BQC/BTC and another tab that will display basic information about the coin possibly including a guide.

The £100 to get the App onto the Iphone App store will be paid for by me out of my wages but I do this not just for myself but for my love of the actual coin and the amazing support of the community.

Thanks mate.

I am still in talks with a third exchange but they are getting put off by all the "BBQcoin Foundation" stuff and it is not helping.

There are a lot of plans in the future.

As it stands though it has been put on two exchanges, there are services being developed in the background that i cannot mention yet.

With all these new coins turning up all over the place, I feel that more users and miners will move back to the coins they know and love.

I have integrated the social network scene into the website which has increased traffic by 15% already, so things are only going to get better for BBQcoin.
