BBqcoin.org offical twitter now active. Will be used for on the fly updates, quicker than Facebook and main website updates.

So if you want to be upto date with BBQcoin.org the minute they happen, Twitter is going to be the way, as I can even do it when away from the PC on my Iphone.

Website redesign complete. Added Facebook and Twitter links.

Each menu link opens in another tab as per request.

The main page is blog style so main updates will be posted there.

Quick updates will be posted on Facebook and Twitter if you want to be the first to get the informational update, as I am not always at home.

Thanks goes out to all the community members that have stuck with this coin. The future of this coin is going to be bright.

BBQcoin.org website has been updated to be more serious and in line with the Bitcoin.org website, which we all know works well.

As BQC has become a more serious coin, with it now being on two exchanges, including our team working to try and get it on a third, the new website is simple and with no gimmicks. Exchanges do not like silly or fun looking websites and that is a fact.

The coins name alone is fun and enough by itself to attract attention.

I am also just finishing up the first of many BBQcoin introduction and guide videos which may turn into a Vlog of sorts.

Someone has been buying a large amount of BQC from the exchanges the past couple of days.  Price hasn't risen dramatically yet, but someone is preparing for something.

I like the potential this coin has in restaurants and food related websites. It just needs more investors to cancel out the dumps from miners every few days and website/payment apps. By the way the BBQcoin.com website looks good.

Every change the website has had, loads of people have not been happy with it, so we keep changing it.

I am working on a final change that will be more in line with Bitcoin.org.

And then there will be no more changes as we want to spend 100% of our time working on the client.

I have forked the code in the github for a record of the bbqcoin  repository.... so when u make any updates i'll pull them as well... but I may be having a play with the client at some point to if time every permits.

Still a bbq lover here Smiley

i real hope devs will improve the web design.

and it is so childish to put a shitty video on the "official" site.

the web design seems out of some amateurs.

sorry if i offend you

BBQCoin ssems to be one of the strongest altcoins. It hit an exchange about one month ago, and mining was more or less profitable for the wohle time :-)

I would really appreciate, if you would give a try to my BBQ-Coin P2Pool

http://www.crypto-coins.de

Just point your miners on

crypto-coins.de:8900

Using your BBQ-Wallet Adress as Username and using a random passwort.

Example:

Code:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -u bHYTWj7CXDLngpZgbK1dyN2cPXGv5pJx41 -p tgertrezhgdfh -o crypto-coins.de:8900

The stats are available at

www.crypto-coins.de:8900

Pool Fee is set to 1%

I have the BBQ wallet installed on the POS. The rate will be what is agreed upon based around the trading price. If anyone lives in or near Ohio they can come down (with their laptop) & I will accept BQC as form of payment at Stoney Creek Roasters or The Neapolitan.  Now this is not as sexy as Bitpay but it works.

Have u thought about taking BBQ orders over the phone?  Let's say i know what i want so i call u up and tell me how many coins it will be then i send them from home (or wherever i have my wallet stored) i then come down to your store and give u my coin address to confirm that i payed.

Would be nice if there was a phone app.

I could do that. I accepted BTC for products in the shop since 2011. Back then I would exchange them for gift cards. I could potentially use a wallet address as a gift card number. Once a coin payment came through a gift card would be created using the wallet address as the card number. I would need to get a barcode scanner that read QR codes to speed up the process at the register.

This could also be used for the online store, unfortunately they dint run on the same system.
