You guys probably have heard it before, but here we go:
A “community movement” that has grown to over 600 individuals in just two days is pursuing legal action against Bitcoin.com and its owner, Roger Ver, for deliberately misleading new users into buying Bitcoin Cash (BCH) instead of Bitcoin (BTC).

Bitcoincash is being pumped today. See the following graph:

https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_bch

It's at 0.125 btc, so about a 15% rise over the last few days. I wouldn't be surprised if it pumped further - all the alts seem to be pumping at the moment.

That is really a striking comment and I totally agree with it. The bitcoin cash loyalist are having ironical statements which is against bitcoin in order to push their popularity and value. But the problem is that bitcoin cash is still dependent on bitcoin and the moment bitcoin crashed bitcoin cash will also crash. Thus if they really wanted bitcoin cash to grow they have to promote it while also promoting bitcoin.

Like I always say, Bitcoin is like the earth, and the altcoins are like the seeds. If you salt the earth, your seeds will not grow. Bitcoin is the king and everyone has to buy bitcoin to be able to purchase altcoins.

This is a good time that showed how the king bitcoin affected all altcoins, so BCash people betraying bitcoin must have taken their lesson: Promote your altcoin, do not badmouth bitcoin, that is what I say. If BTC goes down, your crappy altcoin will go down harder. It is us coiners against the nocoiners and there is no point in fighting for short-term gain.

Well when adoption grows even more and bitcoin is much more successful than today and bcash is (remotely) similarly successful to bitcoin today, everything that has plagued bitcoin (and more) will plague bcash as well. That will remove once and for all the superiority argument from the hands of bcash followers.

The market is dependent on bitcoin valuation and it is not a new discovery and there is no betrayal here, if two groups have conflicting ideas they can come up with their version, this is a free market and the best solution will still hold ground, there are plenty of shit coins in the market, so there is nothing wrong with BCH.

I will use Epsom salt and hope you know that it will help in growing the seeds.  Tongue and one more thing you do not necessarily need to buy bitcoin to purchase alt coins too.

Hahaha those bitcoin cash fanboys think their bitcoin cash will take the bitcoin's spot as no.1 well good news bitcoin cash is failing as it should be. And also, i think that they are responsible on making spam attack on mempool  and bloated it resulting on high transaction fees very high last year look at the fees now, they are very low even 1 satoshi per byte will confirm within minutes.

I guess I couldn't agree more. I can't predict the future, so I don't know if a another altcoin will do well and find it's own space in crypto world, but right now, if bitcoin goes down, the alts go down harder. Even ethereum, that is a good example of a coin that manage to separate itself from bitcoin, and achieve great value, is still completely tied to what bitcoin does.
I believe some altcoins will have value in the future, but until bitcoin doesn't clear the way in terms of regulation, all the others will just follow its lead.

If we only talk about bitcoin cash here, then I think their future is even darker. They have the short term advantage, but I guess they've got it to soon, and wont be able to use it. Crypto regulation still needs to be clarified, and until that happens there is not way that real adoption will take place. So who cares if bcash could already become a payment method all around the world (which I don't think it can). No one will use it in a mass scale so their slight advantage over BTC is not important right now. Now that lightning network options will start to pop up, that advantage will be gone, and when the road for mass adoption is clear, I don't anyone will choose BCH over BTC.

That's goes without saying, why are they trying to make bitcoin down? Short term gain? What a shallow people. Most of alt coin depend on bitcoin value and there're many people who new into cryptocurrency only know bitcoin.Just support the king of crypto and all those alts will be taken along to the moon.

Especially now that @bitcoin twitter account is taken away from roger ver and his team, normal bitcoin can relax a little bit more.

Personally, I can't really actually understand why Bitcoin Cash is yet still existed until now. I believe the problems that they claim exists in the Bitcoin and they solved it, right now it's already solved. The widely Segwit adoption and many more already make the BItcoin transaction problems becomes faster and cheaper. We just need to wait for the lighting network to be implemented before all things goes set.

The University of Cyprus was the first institution in the world to accept payment for Bitcoin. In our country, this can be considered the Higher School of directors and scriptwriters in St. Petersburg.

Yeah, now that altcoin season is over, they must have realized their mistake. But looking at their twitter account and the web page, it looks like they are turning more positive on bcash, instead of being negative on bitcoin.

yes, bitcoin is a crypto king, and I think it's not just BCash who took a lesson from Bitcoin development in today's correction. but also all altcoins want to get better, so they take a lot of lessons from bitcoin.
BCash also can not be stable when the correction today, so BCash should increase the spreading. Sad Wink

I think it is time to move from oligarchy to meritocracy. This can only be accomplished by bitcoin, blockchain and the like.

I guess I am asking as an individual, what we can do to prevent these destructive people from destroying the bitcoin and taking themselves down along with it.
I see that they are very organized, but they will fail because "battling" with your own crowd is always disastrous.

Just take a look at @bitcoin twitter account at https://twitter.com/Bitcoin
The account is not bitcoin, it is bcash. Still bad mouthing bitcoin and promoting bcash, not understanding that we are in the same boat. If nocoiners sink it, we will all go down. I will definitely write this on their account, and I invite you to do the same.

That's actually the dangerous aspect of Bitcoin Cash, their community (Including Roger Ver) is quite rich and they are trying to use Bitcoin's name by buying everything. Besides the Bitcoin twitter, they also own bitcoin.com, /r/btc and seem to have some interest in a lot of exchanges and block-explorers (blockexplorer.com). I also read that Cobra-bitcoin might be a danger, because he is co-owner of the domain bitcoin.org and is lately tweeting about bitcoin cash philosophy.
It is an old technique to get monopoly, actually very effective. But it works at the cost of real community driven projects like Bitcoin (core).

Not much, who has the money has the power. It has always been that way, sadly  Sad.

I don't quite agree with your opinion. First, the Bcash fanboys made enough profits from it, there was a reason why the major so called "fanboys" were supporting bcash.  It was really a nice way to make up some extra money.

Second, nowadays enough options are there to let people buy altcoins without buying bitcoin in the middle, one of them is through ethereum, another is via direct interactions with people willing to sell crypto for fiat or online modes of payment. Things are not like they used to be in the past.
