Let's not forget that luck is the most important factor here. Literally, anything can happen in the wagering session, you can wager $100k and bust your balance, but if you are lucky and have some good hits you can wager even more and finish the session with profit.
Well with a 10k balance and an advertised house edge of 1% at plinko ( we all know these 1% aren't even near to that ) you would only be able to wager 1 million before your money is gone. Same is for pretty much all the 1% house edge games such as dice, limbo and so on.
So basically to answer Shasan's question, to wager 10 million $ you have an estimated loss, under normal circumstances, of 100000$ give or take given the house edge number. Not the best idea so to speak.
It's like you say if we decide to play x2 on auto until we run out of funds. But anything can happen if we really play the game, often changing the bet & multiplier. I mentioned Plinko because there's always a chance for the ball to bring some nice prize, and if we have random higher bets we can hit something really nice.
When we want to wager a lot, we enter a special state, and the excitement and adrenaline are at their maximum. A fast play with many risky bets, and very often we go all-in. It's how I would describe that, and I had many crazy sessions in the past.
House edge is important, but if you have +100 bets with $1 and then you make a few +$100 bets and you hit something nice the picture is completely different. So I would say it all depends on luck and our playing style.
I wonder what will actually give such gambler satisfaction to be called winning.
Basically, the things that I wrote... it's a special state of mind when we play like crazy with big stakes and all-in. And there are a lot of prizes that can be collected along the way. But all that if we are lucky enough to survive and score some good hits.
